luck has it that roque's father/agent is a leeds fan and thats why he mentioned Leeds Utd in his statement..
Aswell as other championship clubs now being alerted his intentions were to get OUR attention.... thats why grayson has been in contact with city regarding the situation trying to thrash out a deal that would allow roque to come to us on loan for the SEASON, with city paying the majority of his wages. However if leeds get promoted there would be an agreement to sign him up on a perm for an agreed fee which would get him off citys books for good, however there stalling on the actual fee if leeds did go up.. Bates has more issues at present with financing the plans for next years build.
this is true and if agreed should be completed no later than wed.

Max Gradel will not be signing a new contract... I was talking to his agent at the Farsley game who was also representing Luz and the other German kid. I was speaking to him for most of the second half and I asked if max was going to stay and he said it was down to £££. Look what happened to others who were in the last year of contract who wanted more money. Beckford, Johnson, Kilkenny.. Etc etc.. If you don't believe me that is fine but I swear it is true...

paul jewell has come out and said we did an 11th hour u-turn on loaning priskin, why would we do this if we need strengthening??? has someone else agreed terms with us??? we wouldnt enquire about a player we didnt want so simon cant say that. hmmmmmm, i aint gonna say roque cos i think as much as it would be fantastic i cant see it happening but we may have sealed a deal for someone else

Whilst Ken might not be the most popular man at Leeds he put money in and bought out Krasner and co, the club has no debt now and it is still in his interest to get back it PL. Look how Svens and Jewels spending has done so far, and its is frustrating not seeing big money spent. However football is different now and prudence is important. Our squad is stronger now and the window is still open, demonstrating about Ken will achieve nothing unless those guys form a syndicate and win the lottery and then offer him an exit. Support the team or write to Ridsdale and Leighton and wish them back. I know what I am doing - having my weekend spoiled when we lose and having a great week when we win - thats football MOT

Ken Bates is a crafty cockney c**t, we all know this. He left Chelsea in at least as much debt as we were in. Had he not been bailed out by Abramovic Chelsea would have done a Leeds no doubt at all in my mind. What I'll grant Uncle Ken is that when Chelsea were in the same position as Leeds he said all his players were for sale, however if the valuation of said players was not met stick your offers. He's a buisnessman with only his own financial interest at heart. We shall never prosper under him, but will become a more attractive proposition for any possible new owners. In short he is not the saviour of Leeds United and I'm sick to the back teeth of hearing that he is. No real fan wants us to spend stupid money on players that we can't afford, as that would just put us back to square one. All we want is for some improvements to be made. Last season we over acheived with an average squad, imagine what could be done if Master Bates were to splash a little cash, not on fees but wages. Ok here's where I may be talking nonsense but take Bowyer for example, if he's gone to Ipswich I can't imagine his wages to be extortionate and in my opinion is a fare better player than Brown.
