Adam Clayton in talks with wigan. Fullam wolves bolton &newcastle also interested Bates will let him go for 1.5-2m

No offence, but, Howson with 6 months left goes for 2mil. Clayton with 18 months left will not go for 1.5mil, 4.5mil and you're nearer the mark! But he is not leaving!

Think he will probably go along with lees and possibly snoddy problem then would uncle ken plough the money back into new players

Thats funny, Grayson said at the press confrence tonight that no other managers other than paul lambert have been in touch with him despite all the rumours. he said martinez, coyle and all the other managers have got my number but no one has been in touch.

I'm a bit sceptical here - regardless of whether we would be prepared to sell anyone else wouldn't you expect there to at least be enquiries from other teams? Or are we seriously overrating our players?

Not a rumour Norwch fan here, Howson Agrees terms, Injury not what it seemed and will be back playing by end of month, Lambert is also putting in bid for Snoddy, Do you get the feeling Bates is relineing his pockets.

He won't be fit until end of the month so not match fit until mid Feb - he only started bike work last week.
Lambert needs �8m for Snoddy.

His injury was and always will be what it first was, Snodgrass won't go anywhere unless you pay over 10m for him, you don't have the cash.

Leeds to sign Sammy Clingan this is the reason why Delph is on loan for a month as Clingan fractured hi toe and has just recovered from it! We want him to be fit and raring when he starts!

Im prety sure that if we was to sign delph on a 3 month loan he would not be able to play in the playoffs but after the 25th feb he can sign for another 3 months and he can play the playoffs

Delph here until 25th Feb..I live in Coventry (born/raised in Leeds) Clingan played last Saturday for Coventry, well over his injury..he will still sign for Leeds next week

I dont what all the fuss is with clingan is an average footballer and wouldnt add quality to leeds at all, get defence sorted and get clayton signed up asap

poulsen on loan next week to relpace the outgoing clayton and will fit in with delph in our new look midfield. clingan will not be signing until the summer when the two go back although we have to option to sign poulsen permanently. the mccormack deal is no where near completetion and my sources tell me that french player nouha dicko may be offered in exchange.

Wow 1 month loan deal that should really plug the gap! loan loan loan loan loan that's all we seem to get ,it's hard work being a Leeds fan these days the way our once great club is being run.

Ye hopefully we keep him till the end of the season. think he has 4 weeks defo at leeds where villa cant call him back. and then if we keep him after that they are putting in place a 24 hour recall clause? either way this is a very astute signing by SG. slightly softens the blow of howson leaving?

There is one reason that they brought in delph.... to appease the sale of our captain! then in 28 days when delph gets miraculously recalled (to minimise expenditure by bates on delphs wages etc) the transfer window will have shut, we wont be able to sign a replacement for delph and well get the old "we thought wed have him for longer, but im confient in our squad and i believe they can get us back to where we belong" sick of it! {Ed013's Note - Leeds sign someone and people still moan! Villa may have insisted in a recall clause after 28 days so SG doesn't want him to get recalled at a critical part of the season. I would imagine they are working to find a permanent signing before the end of the transfer window}

Isn't it something to do with the way the loan time limits work? Have him for a month now and then for 93 day emergency loan?

One month loan takes us to 25th of feb, emergency loan window will still be open and as the poster before states, the 93 day limit would take it to the end of the season if they allow him to resign

I presume the one month is more likely. Because they are looking to bring someone else in, my money is on clingan as he's just about to come back from injury

howson having medical should sign for Norwich Monday fee could be as low as £750k with add on growing to£2m

If thats the price were getting for him we should have told them to **** off and kept him till the end of the season and risked losing him for free

Leeds are only signing delph on loan for a month for 2 reasons.
1. To figure out if he really wants Matty pattison. And it gives them 2 weeks to still shop around.
2. To relax all Leeds fans and bide himself some time.

Hopefully that time will being in some quality...

BOLTON WANDERERS could spend some of their cash windfall from the sale of Gary Cahill on Ireland U21 cap Aidan White.

The midfielder, who has scored once in his five games for the Republic's U21 side, has been in impressive form with Leeds United this season with 26 appearances, and the player has been on the radar of Bolton boss Owen Coyle for some time.

White only has 6 months remaining on his contract.

Yeah read that one myself and I believe it, you dont see many rumours in the herald. But I dont remember it saying he only had six months on his contract and even if he did because of his age its not like he can just walk away for nothing.

I hope he does go...charlie taylor is a way better prospect and LB...white is way overrated

Again another silly rumour. There has only been one bid made for a Leeds player and that was Howson. the rest is just wild rumour and lazy journalism e.g. Ross spotted at Wigan game with his agent - his best mate plays for Wigan and they share the same agent, he was only there to support his mate
