The owner of Italian football club Cagliari Calcio, Massimo Cellino, has reportedly expressed an interest in owning Leeds United.

Believable22 Unbelievable32

This has been reported on several sites but possibly just part of the consortium

Agree1 Disagree0

Not a guy I'd want. Sacked 36 managers in 20 years of ownership.

Agree1 Disagree0

The guy has been convicted multiple times for fraud

Agree0 Disagree0

Back to Leeds City then
And m

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like another GREEDY ROBBING FRAUDULENT Kenneth Bates to me?

Agree1 Disagree1

Why didn't the consortium bid earlier?

Just had a text from my Geordie colleague I work with

On the local radio up his end it's been announced Danny Graham in talks with LUFC with a view to an initial loan move with potentially a permanent move at the end of the season.

Hopefully someone else can confirm this they heard it also.

Not a bad signing if he can reach previous heights in this league

Believable44 Unbelievable27

He can play at championship level no doubt about that.I would like to believe it . just carnt see it. BMD prov me wrong. mot:-)

Agree1 Disagree1

Very unlikely that we will be able to afford danny graham or his wages lol good rumour though lol

Agree1 Disagree1

40 games without a goal or something wasn't it?

Would fit in well here .

Agree2 Disagree1

Looks like Forrest are speaking to him, until take-over happens got feeling we may be a bit limited in what we can do.

Agree3 Disagree3

Would love to see him here but it looks like its going to be another sighning for forest

Agree1 Disagree2

No he's going to Forest

Agree2 Disagree0

Another one bites the dust, Forest and that horrible little Scotsman manager will bag another decent player

You never know the odd Ryman league player might want to sign for us, or that we can afford, good times

Agree2 Disagree1

He was very inconsistent at carlisle wasnt really prolific mind was younger then
And m.

Agree4 Disagree1

Well it has to happen sometime, GFH took us over s that was real and this will happen as well, just always seems to drag a bit when it is Leeds

Agree1 Disagree1

I heard it will be announced on the 12th

Takeover to be complete this week.

Brian has admitted he is struggling in this transfer market - de ja vu?

Danny Graham's name being touted around but looks unlikely. Would like is to get Joe Mason

Believable21 Unbelievable20

Danny Graham seems to be the one he's talking about. The difficulty is he's already played for two clubs this season, just like Stewart. Probably another 93 day loan deal.

Agree0 Disagree1

That would be a cracking signing joe mason watched him a fair few times and has plenty of ability don't know why he doesn't get a shout at cardiff. is he available?

Agree2 Disagree0

Danny Graham looking odds on to go to Notts Forest.

Agree1 Disagree1

I suspect the complicated signing is Luke Moore and not Danny Graham. On the radio BMcD referred to a different type of complication to the transfers already conducted. As the only perm transfer to be completed was Stewart, it has to be different than that situation. Moore is contracted to a Turkish side but they are considering cancelling his contract due to financial reasons

Agree2 Disagree0

Can do better than both.

Dorrans
Vellios
Moussa
Le Fondre?

:) Happy days with those three

Agree2 Disagree1

Danny Graham is going too Forest, more than likely

Agree1 Disagree0

Mason talking to Bournmouth, 2m fee agreed with Cardiff

Today is the day boys. Marvin Emnes will sign a 3 and a half year deal this afternoon after his meeting with McDermott on Friday. He will cost us £750,000.

Believable37 Unbelievable68

Not sure about this one. Not proven is he?

Agree1 Disagree0

His stats are crap. And with what money we going to buy him? Better off signing a god damn door stop you tit! Show some damn ambition or use the youngsters!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Not great stats at all!

Agree1 Disagree0

When emnes can be bothered he is a good player so let's just hope bmc can keep him motivated otherwise we will have wasted a pretty penny there.

Agree1 Disagree0

He was prolific one season and does have it, agree with the above, BM will need to motivate him. Only 25 remember, will improve.

Agree1 Disagree0

**** stats, he's a gun when played upfront, spent too much time out wide of in center mid for Boro

Agree2 Disagree0

Stop looking at stats, they don't define whether a player is good or not, performances do, And Emnes has proved he is a very established championship player.

Agree1 Disagree0

Rather spend the extra on adam le fondre. Emnes would be though alright I reckon. if this rumour is true. would complement rossy boy well

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope not Propper lazy bxxxxxd .

Agree0 Disagree1

Looks like BMD has already given up for this season
Evidence
1)takeover not yet done
2)takeover when done will be too late for bringing in any quality.
3)No money available/GFH blocking any serious signings
4)Todays Sky reported BMD had no future signings to make and was concentrating on takeover
5) signings made already are the building blocks for the future(next season)
6)next season will see, new owners, new players, and may be another takeover!
7)2014/15 season - here we go again!!

Agree2 Disagree1

The player Bmac was talking to on Friday was Danny Graham.
Bmac said it was complicated, the reason being is because he as played for 2 clubs this season but could do a deal like Stewarts.

Agree2 Disagree2

Another fine mess!

Agree1 Disagree1

When is Emnes signing being announced? I only ask as its quarter past four now and they usually don't do press conferences too late.

Agree1 Disagree0

Emnes is an awful footballer! Being from Teesside I can confirm that most (if not all) Boro fans would cry with laughter if this happened.

Agree1 Disagree1

This deal is not going to happen. BMcD has stated that difficult to get in perm signings in January

Agree0 Disagree1

24 goals playing as a winger for a shoddy team like Boro ain't that bad.

Agree1 Disagree0

NO he's NOT!

Agree1 Disagree1

Well that never happened either then.

Agree0 Disagree0

We ain't got £7.55

Agree0 Disagree0

Awkward moment when the next day comes and Emnes is nowhere to be seen. Get real lads. IT IS FINISHED AT LEEDS.

Gfh reported to have sold 75% to a British consortium, Reuters are reporting, don't know why gfh don't keep quiet till deal is done.

Believable25 Unbelievable16

Said the deal was struck on the 30th Nov 2013 but the football league had yet to grant approval.
The sale it said would have a positive effect on financials.

whether this is our financials or theirs It does not say

this is just an up date to the Dubai bourse

Agree1 Disagree0

Did they not say the same last week, also it says they have sold, which is untrue, because until football league approval nothing is sold.

Agree1 Disagree0

They have to make a statement because they are a regulated bank and in addition, there was movement on their stock which needed to be explained.

As for positive financials, they were referring to the financials of GFH post the sale which will allow them to pay their next installment on their debt refinancing! Hence their share price has risen.

Agree1 Disagree0

It will up their share price. They won't be bothered what state ours is left in

Agree1 Disagree0

Surely the most worrying aspect of the article is that Football League approval has still not been given! Shouldn't we be asking why? is this down to the Football League just, once again, trying to hinder LUFC, or is it something the owners/new owners aren't doing? We know it doesn't normally take this long so some explanation is due from someone!

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Jan 2014 12:16:45
The article was about GFH so it meant a positive impact on their finances.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haigh as tweeted "Good news this week "

Mate of mine in Peterborough says a few teams, one of them Leeds have asked about Britt Assambolonga

Believable15 Unbelievable40

I been saying that for weeks

Agree2 Disagree0

Never heard of him? But anyone would be better than that frightenend little puppy Cameron Stewart, the club is far far too big for him, Bri McD what did you see in him?

Agree1 Disagree1

Don't think it's the size of the club that's the problem it's the size of the oppositions players.

Agree1 Disagree0

Collins, Bremner, Starchan were all wee players but would kick the opposition off the park? Size is not the problem, oh and Batty

Agree1 Disagree1

True leeds fans give a new signing more than two games to get use to the club can't believe anyone would judge stewart already same goes for kebe give the lads a chance.

Agree3 Disagree1

Shame he on loan from watford for seasin so we would b talking to watford not peterbourgh get your facts right, because he top scorer in leugue 1

Agree0 Disagree2

If you were @ER as I was on sat, Kebe was awfull, lost count on the number of times he lost the pall, cldnt dribble or pass, i'm all for giving someone a chance but on first impressions :-(

tony1966

Agree1 Disagree2

Peterborough bought Assombalonga out right in the summer from Watford! Would be good signing for leeds!

Agree1 Disagree0

Think you will find I was at the match saturday one of the few that decided to go and yes kebe wasnt great but he hasn't hardly played at palace this season so I said before he deserves a fair chance!

Agree2 Disagree0

Brit would be a class signing he's kicking up a storm in league 1 and think he's got the pace we need. or some1 like jay em-thomas would do a job we need some pace a skill to be injected in this team.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Jan 2014 17:15:14
Actually, League One's top scorer is Coventry's Leon Clark. Leeds were linked to him a week or so back.

Agree1 Disagree0

Hate people kicking off back when they don't know the facts . Peterborough signed
Him in summer on a permanent. Leeds fans I used to think we're knowledgeable! How could someone of not heard of him? Don't you watch the football league show! Personally think we will try and get another striker to compliment mccormack. That means a big striker, think danny graham could be a good shout . Please give the new players time, Kebe is one of best wingers in league when on form. Motd
