Time for Grayson to go bloody awful defending snodgrass and howson non existent again time to move on enough is enough

I totally agree, what was Howson doing !! why didnt Nunez and the 2 finns start?? give Becchio and McCormack a rest... our defence is terrible Gj

I like Grayson but no defender brought in over the window and none in the pipeline as yet btw if any1says bates is to blame Grayson said the money was there so that means either he lied to please master bates e.g a puppet or he's not a great manager either way not looking good and not playing Bruce because they've fell out is the most feeble un proffesional thing I've heard for a while give him a go he might just might save u Grayson

We were playing the best team in England you muppet , they put 8 past arsenal, 5 past bolton 1 player costs more than our team one player earns more than all our players put together big gulf in class but expected .

I agree that we NEED to bring in atleast 2 new defenders (I wouldnt say no to a whole new back line) but getting rid of Grayson isnt going to change that. I think...... if he was given some money by bates and got abit more of a "back bone". He would be alright......

I sort of agree Man United were brill v Arsenal, but we didn't play that team, we played a good team, but only Giggs & Berbetov are close to 1st team players in the 1st 11 today. Man U 2 players at centre back, one being a centre midfielder and a reserve full back, and we didn't challenge them at all, we froze, and seemed to be admiring their play, which is ok (not good, but ok) if your watching, but not playing against them, I expected to have a hard game, but we looked in awe of them, I can take being beaten by a better team, but can't take a team with no fight, and no heart, time for Johnny to get dropped along with Snodds, both looked way bellow par, they looked as if they expected to play every game, and didn'y need to try.
Nunez looked good when he came on.

Anybody remember the last time we kept a clean sheet ?,how long has larry known we need defenders,?has he taken us as far as we can go ?i am begining to think so championship next season as well and only 7/8 games gone .hope i am wrong.

Forgetting about last nights game, as it was class against muck and only to be expected, but...

Leeds started last season shipping goals in all over the place - In January, SG did nothing to rectify the defensive problems... they then continued to ship goals all over the place throughout the remainder of the season.

In the summer, SG has, in my opinion, again done nothing to rectify the problem and we are still leaking goals left, right and centre.

Leeds don't have a proper defender worthy of the name and haven't had for some time.

SG a good manager ? LMFAO !

Every man and his dog knows Leeds are woeful at the back and have been since day 1 LAST season - What has the wonderful SG done about it ?

The quality of defender we need to improve our back 4 costs a lot more than we are willing to pay in wages.

Wake up - Bates is the problem by offering League 1 wages for a "promotion chasing" Championship side.

Grayson decides how he spends the money. We pay higher end wages for this division, just not on defenders for some reason (O'Brien and Kisnorbo excepted I suspect)

We didn't get beat by the best team in England, we got well beaten by thier 2nd reserve team.

Don,t care who we were playing(albeit the poorest manu team seen here for decades)that performance was crap,the players say they know what this fixture means to the fans well THEY DIDN,T SHOW IT.

Finish in the top 4? are you having a laugh? the team played last night would struggle against the teams relegated last season, they had 1 recognised first choice defender playing and knew we were that weak in defence flooded the team with pace, we looked pedestrian against them and at times did not look interested.

Grayson has known for long enopugh that we need to defend better and done nothing about it, the last 2 seasons we have bottled it at the end of the season - the man has no idea of how to motivate the team, if he can not motivate them against the current champions what hope does he have against Brighton on Friday?

The way SG looked last night he looked like he is resigned to getting the sake. Didnt look bothered like the rest of the team. Look at his defensive signings ove rteh last 2 years and you coudl sack him on just that. His persistence in plaing Howson week in week out is alos really annoying. Howson is best in a five man midfield but when we play 4 in midfield he is better on the bench.

Thought Vayranen deserves a place in the midfield, however he needs to replace Howson...............! missing in action (again)

My great gran deserves a place in midfield, completely and utterly non existent. Before we start worrying my grans wage demands or bringing any other midfielders in please can we buy a left back, right back and two centre backs first, preferably ones that can run quite quickly.
Dont know what was more depressing, being comprehensively outclassed from start to finish or Gormless's pathetic comments afterwards. This squad and manager are a million miles away from being good enough to challenge for a top six spot this season, in fact we're not even that close.

Drop them both, give one or two reserve teamers a chance. Shame we havent got an Owen or Berbatov to call on !

Vayranen seems to have a bit more can tackle pass and looks up for it. Snodgrass poor in every game up to now a shadow of himself last season

On a serious note, Jonny does appear to lack a bit of bottle when needed, the likes of Kisnorbo are much harder, stronger characters and we are missing a Batty type player

Howson should be stripped of the captaincy and he should be played at centre back as i feel he would be better for us there! and i agree clayton was by far and away our best player for the last few games he has played!! i would like to see nunez and clayton together in the centre of the park fro the start!!

Agree Howson was not up to it in first half, but genuinely thought he chased and pressed well after the break, particularly in tracking back to disposess Owen, when Snodgrass had lost him! However, Varynen deserves a chance, looked good.

Alex Bruce has been injured, according to official site he was one of five making their way back from injury along with Becchio, Paynter, Bromby and someone else (Parker maybe?)

Bruce and SG had a bust up last season. An academy player who I know did a training session with them and heard Watt and Snoddy talking about it. They were then quickly told to keep quiet by Glyn...

I'd try Bruce or Bromby in front of our defence or try 5 at the back with White and Connolly playing as wing backs. Cant be any worse and we aint signing anyone.

Pugh loan deal done, just waiting till the end near to end of month so that his deal (94 days) doen't run out over the xmas period.
This will be made permanent in Jan.

Sounds a good move, you have then got the option of playing him at lb and moving Aidy White to LM. or the other way round, is a good option to have

Always liked pugh, thought he was versatile and efficient.

Its a 93 day rule and i think that means signing him friday would see him through to jan 1st?
