just typed in alan smith on google news and it comes up saying that alan pardew says he no longer has a future at the club and they are going to pay him off in january and leeds are yet again interseted

And if we are it shows the direction this club is in and that is down

Everyone that denies this claim and says we don't want him he's rubbish, are the people who just point blank hate Alan Smith.

Fact is, the rumour is there, all the papers say it. Grayson and Bates said they would love him back, so there is a above 50% chance of him coming back,no matter how much you don't like it!

And Smith lovers need to get real,why not bring Batty back as well,Smiths had his day,hes well past it.

Smith would walk into the Leeds team with one leg at the moment. Weve got where we are with graft and relentless ambition. However, theres no quality in our team. Clayton is showing promise, Snodgrass has quality but inconsistent, Keogh looks a real grafter, Pugh too, McCormack showing promise, Lees looks a future captain, Howson will either shine or decline at a higher level, got potential tho.
Smith would be a great aquisition. For any Championship team, not just Leeds.
Pardew has come into Newcastle like Brian Clough and cleared out the nucleus of Carroll,Barton,Smith etc he likes attractive pretty players and characters that he can control.
I hope we get Smith.
Hope we dont get Robbie Rodgers. Looks a bighead, and all talk. Tries stupid skill moves on pitch and fancy shots that let his team mates down. Another Filipe Da Costa/Grella.

I dont care who slags me off but im with the initial post.i idolised smith as a boy going to leeds week in week out.yes the man u move was a kick in the teeth,yes hes not as good as he was,yes he may be greedy,but isnt every player greedy as hell.fact is he will give 100%,he would win the doubters around after a few games and watching sam,howson and brown look very ordinary he isnt going to be any worse is he.yes id rather have a top player from the prem on loan like frimpong or andrews but we just wont pay that much and all other clubs more attractive financially.go on slag me off scrooges

To br honest he would be a great signing and if what it says on the internett is true i think leeds stand a better cance of promotion because smudger will protect the back 4 more aswell

HERES A RUMOUR- max gradel to rejoin on loan till end of season with a view to perm deal- unhappy in france!

He is French he speaks French thats like saying I’m unsettled in my house.

Unsettled at the club not the country and he is quoted as saying it was a huge mistake leaving leeds.
