harte would have to be no.1 from that list, we are desperate for a lb as white is inconsistent and what a difference a good free kick taker can make to a team especially with a player like becchio in there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can see Dawson on loan with Faurlin and Habibou permanent, no real width but it would do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with Harte as a free kick specialist but as a left-back he was fairly hopeless as I am sure people will remember from last time around

Agree0 Disagree0

Ho ho ho ho ho. He he he he he. What a load of rubbish! We're signing an old pompey reject, who's spent the past few years wandering the sub conference level Middle Eastern leagues. Can Leeds fans please now stop kidding themselves that any quality will come near Elland Road for the next ten years.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is getting serious.

Burke signing for forest latest Thursday rejected Leeds as forest payed better money for birminghams financial and burkes wages

Believable31 Unbelievable16

Cool, if he doesn't want to come to Leeds

Agree1 Disagree1

Its rumoured Forest are interested, no bid made and no mention of money, stop making stuff up and stirring it.

Agree0 Disagree1

Brum fans seem to be of opinion that Chris Burke is going to Nitts Florist and Florist seem to be of the opinion they are also buying Redmond, Boyd & Dorrans. If true that's more possible good transfer targets missed because of dragging of heels.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd say its more leeds don't have as much money to spend as the fans think

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Jan 2013 07:04:43
forest are ready to spend like Leicester so no point even going against them

Do you mean Tresor Kandol? I would take him back in an instant!

Habib Habibou and Chris Burke to sign before the Spurs game.

Warnock also looking to sign Faurlin and Fox (left back from Southampton) before the window closes.

-MS

Believable23 Unbelievable32

Could we get this fantastic four I will dream of PL, even this season..!

Agree0 Disagree0

Like the fanstatic 4^^^^^^^^^^^

Agree0 Disagree0

Not with habibu he won't score the golas we need

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't need another left back. Fox is not as good as White, who is the future (mark my word!). Chapel A

Agree1 Disagree0

Would be great

Danny ls8

Agree0 Disagree0

If we got 2 out of that 4 it would be a start. isn't that fox the one who turned us down before though. faurlin and burke would be good signings though don't know a lot about habibou. I still think we need a quality lb and a leader either in cb or cm who can inspire the team as captain because pelts is not capt material in my eyes a decent player maybe but relieve the lad of the responsibility of captaincy I think we might see a far better player

The club are in discussions with Queens Park Rangers regarding Michael Doughty and Birmingham City fc regarding Darren Ambrose.

nigel adkins to sign pre contract agreement to take over as leeds manager in the summer...warnocks contract won't be renewed

Believable36 Unbelievable34

Be nice if true - he's the man i'd like - but I hear he's going to blackpool ? any news - any source - back this up ?

Agree0 Disagree1

The word is, he's taking a break from football, probably see what offers come in, a few more managers will lose their jobs before the seasons over, hasn't NW said he's finishing at the end of this season anyway?.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course Warnie is effectively caretaker for the next 6 months, with a brief to preside over a period of stability and consolidation, so that the club is an attractive proposition for a Poyet or Adkins in the summer. I would take talk of pre-contract agreements with a pinch of salt; these are very rare for managers, as they never know what other plumb job might be just round the corner. Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd welcome him with open arms - the board at Southampton have treated him
appallingly. Having said that I would welcome Neil Warnock with open arms if he could put a string of positive results
together.

Agree0 Disagree0

Picture the scene warnock has 6 months left taking him to july any new manager will need time to asses his squad maybe 4 weeks pre season the he has to seel players not needed and get players in he needs so will be infact starting the season more than likely without the players he needs hence we will be in no better position come next jan I say keep warnock untill its mathmatically impossible to make play offd and get a new manager in to see where we need strenghening or let warnock go now and letnew manager get the rest of the season to identify his targets for start of pre season and get off running

Agree0 Disagree0

Defo the man for us.Can we afford to pay NW off though? Adkins won't come for peanuts either, he must have been swamped with loads of big money job offers already. He will hold the whip hand in any negotiations. To be fair I can see him staying in the prem league.

Strong rumours around that the two names coming in are Habibou and Burke. I'd be happy with the later but I know very little about Habibou, he seems to be the one coming in before Sunday.
Only a rumour!!

Faurlin was set to sign 2day but didn't want to risk driving in these conditions, source Harry himself

Believable22 Unbelievable52

Load of rubbish faurlin is injured and out for season

Agree0 Disagree0

He'd be a good signing but can't see it especially if Harry has said it is happening, which I doubt very much

Agree0 Disagree0

The roads are fine today mate

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2013 16:41:35
Shaun Derry sings one year contract extension. Faurlin set to move?

Believable23 Unbelievable18

So Harry thinks Derry is a better player than Faurlin

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm! Blow or blessing? What do you think guys? White4Life. MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2013 15:04:40
Simon lapin been released by Norwich worth a shout on deal till end of season and under 30 just MOT jp

Believable18 Unbelievable23

Why is it our fans only deserve to get linked with unknown average cast offs from other clubs? Whilst Cardif Hull & Leicester can pick and choose from the premiership? Why is it Leeds fans have ended up with the only potless Arab Bankers in the world.. ? 'Dare to Dream' eh what a load of ******** ...the curse goes on and on

Agree3 Disagree1

Tell me what you actually think he will offer for leeds? he's a poor player and lets face it we have loads of them already

Agree2 Disagree0

He plays left wing and left back better then half the cast offs we got

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2013 15:04:28
2 players possible on there way from inverness, Andrew Shinnie and Aaron Doran both class players from the SPL with a bright future perfect for leeds.

Believable10 Unbelievable22

Perfect 4 you maybe but not perfect for leeds just 2 players who are poor

Agree0 Disagree0

Aaron Doran is a winger and Warnock does not like wingers so it seems unlikely

Agree1 Disagree0

Terry butcher won't part with either of them

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2013 13:09:25
Please gfh invest before you complety loose the fan base . All we need is 4 good players . A left back 2 wingers and a good center mid and where there . Show some ambition and then the best fans in england will flood back .mot .

Believable37 Unbelievable8

Unfortunatly even if ghfc invest in team warnock will hardly buy wide players he is looking for a forward and central midfielder (yet another workhorse past his prime) and another central defender warnock doesn't like width hence not getting any wide players after selling snodgrass and any wide players would be out of place in the ever present hoofball

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do people keep going on about wingers? Warnock does not really play with wingers.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2013 18:11:29
TBH I can't complain with GFH they have done us a huge favour saved over £30 on tickets for tottenham game!
and over £70 by other games

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know GFH aren't investing? most managers say that very few decent players are available in January, there's still plenty of time left so be patient.

Agree0 Disagree0

But wasn't Jerome Thomas not a winger?

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute joke. lose the fans faith?

they've owned the cub for a month no less! all they have done so far has been for the good.

Shaun Harvey is the man on transfers

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure people are right about wingers. I think W would love a flying winger -they are generally a key part of the hoofball philosophy, supplying the ammo for the big guy up front. Hence the bringing of Hall to the club, and the bigging up of Thomas when he first came (personally thought he was lightweight), as well as the constant links to wide men like Admoah. I think he also loves his scrappy, journeyman midfielders -Norris, Austin, Brown et al; and I think he over values their prosaic toil. Chapel A

habibou and faurlin are the players coming in this week

Believable45 Unbelievable19

If that's true then I really don't fancy our changes grabbing a play off place. 2 players is basically tinkering with an already capable side to help push them over the line, we need more than tinkering with, more like an overhaul!

Sorry to be negative guys and I hope I'm wrong... Mad Mick

Agree0 Disagree2

Both solid additions imo. NW still after a Thomas replacement so that on top of these 2 would offer great hope.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol we obviously do not need an overhaul. we have been playing well but we need 2 or 3 new players and we will finish in the top 6.

Agree1 Disagree0

To the comment above I don't know which team you are watching, but we have been absolute garbage for months now under NW. I should know having been to away games this season such as Barnsley, Derby, Forest and countless home games where we have played such rubbish football. GFH needs to get their hands in their pockets and sign some quality fast or its another mid-table finish.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been playing well? what are you watching?

Habib Habibou, Craig Dawson, Graham Dorrans and Ian Harte all to sign before end of January

Believable29 Unbelievable43

The same Ian Harte who's starting every week for Reading in the premier league?
Or a different one?

Agree0 Disagree1

All of them yes please

Agree0 Disagree0

Habibou good dawson only loan dorrans would be great but high price

Agree0 Disagree0

Ian harte does by no way start for reading every week he hardly plays 4 them you muppet. but you can forget dorrans as he's worth 2.5 mill and we will never pay that and others are after him so wnt come any cheaper

Agree0 Disagree0

Would make up a very good side with them 4 additions.

Also I would love to see Harte back at ER, I know he's old but he can still play a pinpoint cross. He must have some amazing memeries of Leeds, be nice for him to see his carere out here.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ian harte better then beckham at free kicks

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry, I should have said NOW starting every week for Reading, pretty sure he's started the last five games, which has coincided with Readings good run of form (3 wins and a draw from last 5 games)

In a National newspaper today we are interested in Gary Taylor-Fletcher from Blackpool He is 32 years old this year. 202 matches for Blackpool and 35 goals. Another one for the future!

Believable26 Unbelievable34

Hope not. A great exponent of hoofball, I suppose he'll fit in well.

Birmingham have made Nathan Redmond available for transfer definitely worth a look in my opinion. Marlon King being made available on a free as well...scores goals at this level but with his history would it be worth it? Diouf has done well so maybe...
Frizz

Believable25 Unbelievable22

Isn't everyone at Birmingham available, they have a cash crisis

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jan 2013 12:44:23
Redmond
King
Burke
Zigic

All believed to be looking for new clubs, would take them all apart from Zigic! We have Beccs for our target man

Agree0 Disagree0

Diouf has never been banged up for a sex offence.

redmond would be a great signing and king too.MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Diouf is one thing, and he has done well here both on and off the field, but Marlon King is a piece of s**t on a whole other level. He must never be allowed to disgrace the shirt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Redmond and king would be good additions shame king hates us!

Agree1 Disagree0

I think redmond would cost too much to be honest also WBA tried to sign him in summer for million(s) and failed. I'd wait till the end of the season when they are relegated and his price drops considerably

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course we don't want King. We have standards. However, Redmond and Burke are a different matter entirely -I would be impressed if we were able to get either. Zigic has always looked the business against us as well! Chapel A

Warnock as said he wants a striker that can play similar to becchio to give him a rest every now and then .

Hope not,, 32 and past it !! Why are we looking at old players !!

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah because becchio is 100% going

Believable27 Unbelievable10

He scored a hat trick on Saturday

Agree0 Disagree0

As a Leeds fan north of the border I can say he would be a great signing if we can get him. personally not heard anything of this but I'm in glasgow so maybe that's why.
