All this who owns what...ken master bates basically owns all of Leeds. Leeds city holdings is owned by ken master bates shaun Harvey and some random woman's name.As is correct LCR ltd 28% and FSF the rest. So unless the old scrotum is throwing it all into the pot, this 50% thing is all abit ...?? If you know what I mean...
Andrew m
ps and that gentlemen is what you call a fact!!:-D

Believable19 Unbelievable7

Random woman is Yvonne Allen, one of our club directors

Crmd

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok I looked it up at companies house when all this started m8. Couldn't remember her name so that's why I just said random. And I also made a spelling mistake writing LCR ltd it should of been LCH ltd. But the rest is right tho. Its gotta make ya laugh really(better than crying) how what I wrote in my post about who owns what. Its just so tangled and messed up its beyond belief really. Yes Bates Out! Time for a change completely but that's only my opinion.
Andrew m

Agree0 Disagree0

Its what ive always believed. This notion that ER and TA is owned by an outside concern was always cobblers. Everything Bates does is shrouded in deceit with the sole purpose of ripping off both the tax-payer and lufc fans. He hates everything to do with leeds, always has, always will. If anyone needs a reminder consider the following quote;
"I shall not rest until Leeds United are kicked out of the football league. There fans are the of the Earth, absolute animals and a disgrace. I will do everything in my power to make this happen".
Says all it needs to.

Not a penny more bates until you have f**ked off you chelsea barsteward

with the alleged second deal on the table with the alleged new owners willing to but 50% of bates shares (bates owns 72% meaning new owners would have 36%)is a really bad idea for leeds bates will still have 36% plus he still has the 28%in his ofshore holdings meaning he will still pull the strings at elland road the only way leeds can move forward is without kenny bates at the club

Believable27 Unbelievable4

You've been duff info - The deal is that Bates will sell 100% of his shares and receive 50% of the payment now.
He will then retain a 'figurehead' type consultancy role (in effect non-executive) and will be paid the other 50% when he retires

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a clean sweep. Bates has to go! No strings attactched...at all. New owners, new investment, we already have the right manager in NW to take us back to the Premier league.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am of the understanding they are wanting 50% of the club, not 50% of kens stake.
I think it will be more like 51% anyway so they have a controlling stake.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very true but on a positive note look at it this way if the new guy wants to give Neil 5 mil for players to push for promotion why would bated say no, he could sit back watch the new guy spend his own dosh, get us promoted then without spending a penny bates share once/if in the prem has doubled without him paying anything out! Even an old fool like him would be daft to say no to that, as much as most think that he wants to ruin us he's still very much money orientated and if he can sell 1 share now for a fiver knowing he can sell 1 share for 15 in a years time he'd do that all day long. Either situation (half takeover or full) can only be a good thing for us fans and the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Not duff info at all 50%of bates actual shares for 50% of the cash bates selling the other 50% when bates finally wants to step away pluss as nthe 50%of bates shares will be 36% he will still be the major shareholder able to call in the 28%in offshore holding bates stays in controll leeds continue to go backwards

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry my friend you are wrong - Bates is selling 100 percent of his shares.
Half paid now half paid when he calls it a day in a new non-powerful consultancy role

Neil warnock plz try and sign max gradel on loan he want
To return and he his better then diouf

Believable42 Unbelievable11

We cannot afford anyone of any quality yet until the t.o is done.
bates will not give his own money to fund any more players, especially when he's meant to be getting investment from the consortium(s).

Agree1 Disagree0

Completely different to diouf and about 7 years younger but 'better'...... im not so sure. i feel sorry for diouf because he is surrounded by no quality at all now ross mac is out, he needs better players to link up with,no one in our squad is on the same level as him.
Ltkk

Agree1 Disagree0

Gradel will always be wlcome back but low shot about Diouf. He has been good in a so far difficult time

Agree2 Disagree0

Different type of player to Dioff, would play well to together with Gradel and Bechford upfront. Should happen within 10days

Agree1 Disagree0

We need as much quality as possible . both of them would be good ! Gradel is quicker but diouf has more skill and vision . he's actually better than I thought he was

Agree1 Disagree0

Gradel and Diouf in the same team with Beckford and a new centre half with pace! Yes please Santa!

Agree0 Disagree0

I can not believe someone said diouf is better than gradel? wtf lol what planet are you on? someone said diouf is on another level to the rest at leeds? omg get ya head tested. becchio, mccormack, austin, pearce, kenny are all on a higher level than diouf. diouf would then come next in the list.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with everything about dioff
gradel is too greedy a type of player in my opp

Agree0 Disagree1

Diouf has actually done a stellar job for us since he joined under the circumstances. Would i like gradel back? of course but different to diouf. diouf has the ability to play off of becchio somewhat plus i reckon gradel defo won't happen. go back in for tempelton as soon as deal done as well

Agree0 Disagree0

We cant afford anyone at all so max gradel is well out of the picture. we probably can't even afford to bring back rogers from his loan spell we are that poor at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah not sure if you have been watching us mate but diouf has been decent so please stop stating things you really dont have a clue about. gradel chose a shi=y french team over us. what is wrong with some people

silly to think that if this "2nd offer" is a legt sory tand it was all sealed attendences would be back and the atmosphere would be awesome, more optimism in the air, just a shame its bates who has to sign ehy!

deakko7

Believable20 Unbelievable2

Like I said before and I'll say again who wants a club with no ambition and going no where p itfc

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant believe that comment came from an ipswich fan.

deakko7

Agree0 Disagree0

If bates has now got a 2nd consortium interested, he'll love it. he'll play one off against the other and they'll fight to put in more money/best deal for bates. worse thing as well, it'll mean it's going to take even more time to sort out, especially if the 2nd consortiums interest is true. a lot of fans think it's all being made up by bates, just to put lufc into administration again + according to our account books, we're not far away from that!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a second consortium, GFH were intermediaries and did a poor job so they been booted out, aparantly a saudi arab with a few bob has joined the show and offered this to bates, due dilligance already done so its stil for bates to sign

deakko7

Agree0 Disagree0

Who wants a club with no ambition and not going anywhere ? someone who has ambition and some coin thats who . the worse leeds united look the more people will want to buy as they can get for a cheaper price .question is how long can bates hold out for the amount he wants before having to really reduce the price for a quick sale ? i think no longer than this season without promotion and we dont look likely to be getting promoted this season

I know these are hard times for us Leeds fans but has RMOTLIFE actually said one positive post on this forum ever? Too many people being way to negative even if positive news comes out they manage to put a doom and gloom spin on it. I hope i speak for many when i say fans like that aren't the fans i remember when i first fell in the love with Leeds. I remember ER used to be addictive, due to the brilliant atmospheres etc, nowadays though its like a f*cking funeral parlour if you want to boycott do it. If you want to go to games do it, but dont go just to whinge and sing bates out for 90 mins do it to get behind your team. I know many fans will give me abuse for this but i don't care i would just like a bit of positivity instead of 'adminstration and relegation' comments that are just ludicrous.

Believable30 Unbelievable7

Good call. There are a number of so called Leeds fans who post regularly on this site that have never posted anything positive or constructive, just 'Bates Out' bla bla bla... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE YA WHINGING PLEBS !!
Rob MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree - fed up with gloom merchants too! Get behind the team ffs!! jimbo

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice post fella, as i don't condone or encourage bates out chants or boycotts i can see the reason why people do - however the addition of LUFC the taste the atmosphere the feeling of walking down ER saturday afternoon is too addictive for me to turn away

Woody LUFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said mate, the way i see it is we have been in worse positions in the past, we need to get behind the team and get them fired up, not winge and whine all day, too much negative energy. MOT

The D man

Agree0 Disagree0

True true!! thing is i wonder after when/if to gets sorted... will they be content? give it 6 months and theyll b moaning about sumtihng els no doubt - more then likely some of these people are the same ones whe deserted the club when we wer relegated and will come flooding back when we get promoted!
KD

Agree0 Disagree0

Well, I applaud your loyalty. I have been following Leeds since 1966, and I can't think of a worse time. I'm writing this on Friday evening - before the Forest match; of course I'll be hoping against hope that Leeds win, but I don't think they will. Even if we draw, we shall be uncomfortably close to the relegation zone, with a demoralised team from whom all the early-season optimism has evaporated. One major problem we have is that for most other teams, survival in the Championship, having a few good wins, and loking forward to the next recruit who might bring success would be enough - but for us, if we don't get promoted, it's a disaster. I'm sorry to tell you, but the present level of funding will see us down in Division 1 before long.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said, damn right about so called Leeds fans spewing negative cr4p. The season has barely got going and WUMS and doom merchants are writing the season off, and shouting for the head of a very very good manager who is doing his best to make a silk purse out of a sows ear! Positive posts supporting the team and manager all the way.

LUFC always

Agree0 Disagree0

To the last contributor - I agree, Warnock impresses me as he sets about trying to do an impossible job - as you say, "making a silk purse from a sow's ear" - but what you get, in the end, from a sow's ear, is just that - a sow's ear - and that's what we're going to get tomorrow against Forest. Have you all looked at the Championship table? We're not far off the relegation zone, and we have half the team missing! Thebest way to support Warnock is to try to exert pressure on Bates to go.

Now here's a possible front line. Beckford and McCormack with Becchio as a impact player. This as a lil bit of the wow factor for me. Maybe Boyd in midfield too just to add some flair.

Believable11 Unbelievable32

And with what money do you expect this to happen with?

Agree0 Disagree0

FIFA 13 is out next Friday ain't it not this Friday ? Dream on

Agree0 Disagree0

Becchio is not an impact player, he's not quick and skilful enough. Becchio is the type of player who has bundles of energy and is good in the air and hardworking. He is a definite starter. If beckford did come back then McCormack would be dropped to an AM creative role with JB and LB relied on for goals

Agree1 Disagree0

Why do some people struggle to see what is really happening at Leeds Utd? We HAVE NO MONEY, WE ARE SKINT. There would be lots of decent players and when required loan players at the club, if we had money, but we don't and hence we have to live with what we have. We all know where the money has gone, it's getting that cancer out of the club that is hard to achieve.

Agree0 Disagree0

Beckford's the impact player not Becchio. He needs to start. {Ed020's Note - agreed}

Agree0 Disagree0

Stuff it, what about all 3 up front!! dont see that much now :p
KD

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop dreaming and why would we want him back anyway. There's better than him about. Barndoor Beckford. Get Gradel back instead much better and he wants to return to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be better off loaning Kenwyn Jones from Stoke

Agree1 Disagree0

Beckford would never take becchio out of the main team! becchio works harder than any other player at our club n with better midfielders he would score way more so if beckford comes back ( i hope not as think there is much better ) then he can sit on the bench as if u open your eyes our strikers r gr8 its the midfield that needs sorting. jeeze hate when ppl blame strikers when we lose as they can only work with what they get n at the min our midfield is really poor apart from austin.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if we had beckford all 3 would play as mccormack can play all around the attacking areas

I'm just going to put it out there. Somma. We need him back, NOW. I've torn my ACL playing footy and was out for 10 months. Somma's been out for 14. He must be close on making a return? {Ed020's Note - i think he's just putting the fitness work in now, should be back soon}

Believable19 Unbelievable1

Warnock said he wont even be in full training until november and wont even play a game until december so its likely to be january before we see him

Agree0 Disagree0

ACL injuries vary enormously in recuperation time from a few months to 18 months depending on numerous factors but unfortunately a striker is never the same after such a massive injury e.g. Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler so don't be too optimistic about his abilities when he does come back
Ali

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a shame reely he looked a gd lad i just hope he can carry on where he left off... i was so excited when he would be sitting on the bench in a game knowing hed b coming on seen to bag it! :p
KD

Agree1 Disagree0

Note you had a torn acl. I ruptured my acl and had to have my whole knee rebuilt. I didnt play for two years, but then we dont have the luxury of physios and good recoporation as i went back to work as soon as i could, which obviously wasnt helping the situation. A tear is a lot different to rupture is the point I'm making

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes a professional footballer . he doesn't just rest all week and turn up for a match or 2 each week , theres so much physical work done in training so come back too early and he could be out another long spell and probably longer . somma will come back just has good as he was if he can get the injury off of his mind ,it usually the mental side of things that makes you play that bit worse as you just dont wand to get taken out and re injured

Latest on takeover.

The consortium that have been in talks with Leeds since May have now managed to remove all obstacles, indemnity included, yet Ken is apparently still unwilling to sign the deal and leave.

Such is the determination of the consortium to acquire the club that it is now understood they are willing to let Ken stay on, in an advisory or consultant capacity, until he chooses to retire. In return, he will receive half of the payment for the club now and the other half once he finally decades enough is enough.

They have also cut GFH out of the negotiations and are believed to have recruited a further, very, very wealthy member from Saudi Arabia.

In essence, this is good news as at least Bates is more likely to agree to this, even though anyone with half a brain would like to seen him gone completely.

Believable34 Unbelievable17

From stories I gave seen you have mixed up 2 different stories up then added your own story on the end.

Hope the deal is nearly reached

Agree0 Disagree0

Too F_cking right. Wish he would disappear into oblivion with the rest of the and maggots.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope you meant Decides rather than decades, don't think I could handle another 10 years of cuddly Ken :O/ It does feel like the finishing line is edging closer, Fingers crossed MOT {Ed020's Note - i personally don't see him surviving another 10 years to 90 years old. }

Agree0 Disagree0

At the end of the day Bates the leach is just hanging around if we get into the premiership so he can take a cut. I'll tell you how this man as run the club he as set up the academy with kids in hope they grow into true pro's and then sells them for his own gain. The man's a crook and shouldn't be allowed into sport in any form. Go Bates you thief.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been seeing alot about this half now - half later deal... but maybe someone can shed some light if they only owned say 50% of the company would they b willing to put money and say we got promoted then bates decides to sell his other half and makes more then what he would get now..(effectivly off of their investment)? or would this be at some sort or fixed rate or sumthing? any ideas?
KD

Agree0 Disagree0

I read the news on The National as the buyer was going to give Bates 50% of the money now, not buy 50% of the shares, but Bates would be kept as a consultant and when he finally leaves the buyer will pay the remainder of the money.
MaltaWhite

Agree0 Disagree0

I also see it that way

This time next week. Bates will only own 50% of Leeds United!

-MS

Believable22 Unbelievable11

Thats 50% to much .and he now owns 75% so not a great reduction . Bates out completely

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he owned 70% of Leeds, if he was to swell half now and half at a later date he will own 35% of Leeds united. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Sussex White MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Or does he only own 36% along with consortium...and the the other 28% owned by someone else. Then the consortium could buy the other 28% and freeze bates out....more than one way to skin a cat maybe....

Fredh MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Well hopefully the new consortium will be able to make life very difficult for Mr Bates. Lets hope they flush him down the toilet with the rest of the terds.

Agree0 Disagree0

50% of 100% or 50% of 72% which is his current ownership? Either way it needs a change of support towards NW so he can bring in the players he really wants. NW on radio this morning saying if he got the backing he wanted, he would be looking at a better class of player than he has been recently - CTLUFC

Agree0 Disagree0

That is still 50% too much!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think bates owns 72% and Leeds city holdings own 28%.
bates owns LCH though.

Agree0 Disagree0

He own's 72% at mo, if he owned 74% he could do anything he wanted without the other 26% having a say so. Which brings the question, what and who the hell are the 28% doing or saying about all this???

Agree0 Disagree0

Nobody will invest the sort of money Bates wants unless they take a controlling stake in the company now. Bates can have a "put" option that requires the investors to buy the remainder of his shares when he chooses but he won't have the option to sell to anyone else. Standard legal structure. Jimbo

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you talking about, open your eyes . hes selling 100% of his share in the club and receiving half of the fee now and been given a job at leeds united and been paid until he leaves at which stage he will receive the other half which is basically the buyers way of saying if you want the full lot take it and fu*k off .

Agree0 Disagree0
