So we are getting Will Buckley till January.

Hmmm, are we prepping for life without Sammy Byram or just adding more depth to the squad.

Tell you one thing, our bench is definalety staring to look tasty. Philips, Botaka, Buckley, Adeyemi, Antenucci, Silvestre, Bellusci (this is based on saturdays team)

On the negetive side, I don't know whatI am going to do on fifa. Now its just sell Doukara and buy andother striker and a left back for cover.

Phil Hay tweet states Sunderland midfielder Will Buckley signing this week for Leeds.
This one has rumbled on for a while & do we have room for him???
Personally I'd rather shore up our leaky defence

Big, big signing for me. Will give us two proven Championship wingers, an exciting prospect in Botaka and leave Sam as either great backup for the full right side or we could drop him back to defense (harsh on Berardi though). He can also play as a central attacking mid, we don't really need him there but if we get an injury or two he can move central with Botaka or Byram on the right. Looks like its a loan to buy too since we are waiting to complete so it runs into the transfer window. No reason to hold off unless it has an agreed fee.
Another defender would be great 51leeroy, am upset we didn't step up our pursuit of Moore, but 8 conceded in 8 games isn't too bad. You generally want to average about 0.8 conceded 1.6 scored per game to finish in the top six (currently 1 per game con 1.1 scored) so we don't need to change a lot, just goals from players that aren't Wood or Antenucci and Buckley could bring that.

Putting Turnbull in goal could immediately improve the defence.

Looks like mf strengthening in advance of SB's departure in t'fed window which will be on us before we know it. Buckley in, 6-8 mill for sam, looks ok to me

Moore would've been a good addition but agree with our goals against tally, although we seem to be riding our luck to often!
MK Dons could've hammered us on Sat plus Brentford week before had their finishing been better.
Buckley deal to start October & hopefully he'll provide the crosses Wood, Antennuci & Cook need to bang in the goals 👍👍👍👍

Byram will not knock berradi out of the team and our defence is far from leaky we just have very few options as an out ball in midfield buckley is class and will keep the ball at the right end mk dons brentford paggered us because they have decent wide men and central our midfield need that quality with dallas buckley and hopfully botaka wil bring us and barring in mind how well we have done playing at 50%every game Can't wait too see what 100% is like think byrams going in jan saying this these next 3 i'd take 4pts boro Birmingham Brighton WOW! Beradi has signed an extension to his contract so looks like bye bye Sam. Gutted, I hoped he would reclaim the RB position.

Why does this mean the end of Sam? Not saying he won't go, indeed its seeming more and more likely, but what has Berardi got to do with it? I would expect any team to have a left back, a right back and someone who can cover both (or two players and one each) so its in our best interest to keep both. Rosler is playing him as a winger anyway so his biggest worry has to be Botaka plus Berardi has earned an extension on merit since the new year, even if Byram reverted back to RB I don't think he pushes him out so why would we let our form right back leave for free in the summer? All we have done is sign one of our best players to a longer contract, I'm anything but gutted.

Made in

Would you rather we let Gaetano go on a Bosman as well as Byram thus ensuring our recognized right back for next season is Scott Wooten?

Byram is going anyway. He will be gone after the 3rd round of FA Cup. Guaranteed.

Agree Gummie, makes sense to have cover in all positions and Berardi has been excellent this season so it would have been wrong to run his contract down. As you say nowt to do with SB, he will go mind prob in Jan so at least we will get a higher fee than if left to a tribunal in the summer.

Looks like signing Will B from sunderland so again that is a positive, more options for Uwe, for me the club has done everything realistically possible to give Uwe a decent squad.

I personally think Byram hasn't been up for it this season.
Early days but he looks lost, whether that's due to playing outta his favoured RB position only he knows!
If Swansea or others want him in January then shows us the money
