Apparently there is 'a deal in place' for forestieri to come to Leeds, depending on player negotiation now. selerno/cellino linking up again.
Not a great scoring record, something like 17 in 70 or so games. Not prolific by any means.
What do people think?

Not great goal return but great going forward lots of assists, will give us that spark, quality, creativity that's missing, could be the difference between draws to wins, love byram very good player but not a natural right winger??

He's more of a creator/flair player than a 20 goal a season forward. Just what we need.

Would be a great signing and to be honest I don't think he will be the last signing we make before the window shuts

Am I the only one that thinks he is a little overpriced (£3-4m) compared to some of the other options? Buckley £1.5m, we had a bid turned down for Limbombe but supposedly he wants to join us so we might get him for around £2m. Decent player but why pay over the odds if we can bring someone as good as or better for less?

I can't stress how good a signing I think Forestieri will be. An Italian who is already integrated into English football and is proven in the championship.

Finally we would have a creative player who can pick a pass.

I would pay £3m for a 3/4 year contract although £4m would be a ridiculously good deal for Watford.

If it goes ahead we have then signed two young strikers who have played for promoted teams.

I'm excited. If he needs a lift to Derby there is room in my car.
