Leeds United are set to sign Nottingham forest central midfielder Lewis McGugan.
Warnock met with the midfielder in the summer but was unable to come up with the funds to buy him.
McGugan was not even on the bench today after a fall out with the forrest manager.
A fee of around £500,000 should be enough to acquire his services!

3 players that i think we should be looking into signing as a creative midfielder who controls the game, which we lack + wouldn't cost too much:
Lewis McGugan - unwanted at Notts forest but quality
George Boyd - likely to leave peterborough
Neil danns - on loan till jan at bristol c from leicester

Danns is a must, Boyd is next, Lewis is good but inconsistent...poor mans taraabt.
Danns scored aggain today, would love to see him in a the mighty whites teamm

Boyd definitely but I have a feeling there will be a surprise or two, a bit like Drury, Tate and Thomas.

Would like to sign all three, think if we signed these three a LB a striker and a winger then we will rip the league to pieces...bu cant see it Warnock likes Tongue for some reason wants another CB in Tate.
Definitely dont want all three that would leave us with 7 CM's once Tonge signs permanently...waste of money and wages and makes the squad much bigger than it needs to be

Good player but regular starter in the west ham team. highly unlikely
