Viviani spotted outside Field Mill tonight so it's safe to assume that his move to Leeds from Roma is basically done. #lufc

Chris Wood about to be let go by Leicester. Young, strong and a proven goal scorer at this level and could be worth a shot.

Get him!

Agree4 Disagree0

Yeah would be a great signing proven goal scorer in Championship but doubt MC knows him?

Agree2 Disagree0

Chris Wood was one of the best strikers in the league when he was on form. i'd defo have him over our current crop

Agree1 Disagree0

We should definitely be interested. Hopefully Hockaday can bring him to Cellino's attention if he doesn't know him. Capable of scoring goals at this level for a lot less than £11m!

Agree0 Disagree0

Watched him at millwall they loved him he single handely kept them up the other year. must be considered a buy at all costs (well less than 11mil but worth a punt)

Agree1 Disagree0

Good player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not watched him on a regular basis but getting good reports from you guys.
You have to wonder why Leicester let him go if he's that good ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Must be worth a shot, at the right price of course :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Need some supply to a very tall partnership of smith and wood(if we get him) wide midfielders (white and byram possibilities) to feed the strikers

Valiani? He's a 33 year old journeyman isn't he? What are we doing signing him?
Sure you don't mean Viviani the 22 year old Roma hotshot?

Brazilian left back Danilo Avelar has confirmed that he does not want to move to Leeds. Leeds have now turned their attentions to Fabrizio Grillo 27 year old left back released by Sienna, but have competition from several other clubs.

After watching the spectacle that is Brazilian defending in the World Cup, we might be better off losing out on this player. I think we might be better off sticking to the Italian method of defending for the foreseeable future.

If Brazils performance in defence at World Cup anything to by it would be a blessing in disguise

Reports out of italy linking us with Alessandro Gamberini of Napoli. Apparently out of favour with manager Benitez. 32 year old well experienced Serie A Central Defender would shore us up at the back - any thoughts guys

Looks like he's going to Chievo

MC
Not renowned for buying the older players but times running out to the start of the season so you never know ;)

Agree1 Disagree1

I read that he was signing for Chievo as he wants to stay in Serie A. we should know by the end of the day

Cannot see this at all wages will be ridiculous coming from Italy and if he has a chance to still play at top flight serie a can't see him wanting to play for us

Agree1 Disagree0

Looks like he's going to Chievo Verona according to reports.
