I doubt Hazard would be bad. Eden has said that he thinks that Thorgan is a better player than he is.

Maybe in a few years time! Come on, Bannan, Livermore, Townsend, Watt, Smith -these guys were relative veterans in comparison, and look what good they did us. The policy of taking inexperienced, but possibly talented, Prem reserves and expecting them to make the difference in the physical hothouse of the Championship has been tried by us countless times before, and been found wanting. Connor wickham could be on his way out of Sunderland. Youngish hungry quick and strong. Would fit with warnocks hoofball style and give better mobility up front along with a goal threat. Worth a punt.

If you read the post properly you would see that it doesn't say Warnock is spending money, it clearly says we will loan them

They still cost money in wages west ham won't be paying him peanuts and I can't see them wanting to pay him while he plays for another club there not man city after all

What was the point in having permanent signings costing wages that don't play ?
If we get rid (like we have) we CAN afford to pay wages to decent players NW wants, ie Maynard, Templeton, Bothroyd

The decent players you mention are on a lot more wages than the players we are trying to get rid of..

If you guys talking about wages kept a track on the news and NW interviews at all you'd know he has said today in press conference he is going to have to turn to loan signings when the squads of 25 are named in the premiership on the 1st of september... so won't be by weekend like poster said but will happen.

The takeover will not happen till after the transfer window closes,then they won't have to stump up any money for transfers,that would be a good start owners who are loaded but don't want to spend any money on improving the side,why else is it taking so long.

I agree, I cannot see any takeover or investment happening until after the transfer window closes. If the proposed new owner wanted to invest money the deal would have been pushed through just as it was at Forest

It would allow us to avoid paying inflated prices so it would make sense....

The takeover of Forest is completely different to the situation at Leeds. Forest were wholly owned by the estate of the deceased owner, there was nobody else involved. As has been mentioned before, the ownership of Leeds is extremely complex therefore the hold-up could be for a number of reasons. Unfortunately I'm not 'in the know' and don't know anybody who is. If the takeover happens before the transfer window closes then fine, if it doesn't then I'm afraid that's life.

One of our best players of the last decade or so -was terrific at his best. Agree he would need to make some sort of public statement, but see no reason in principle why this shouldn't happen. My only question would be: can he still do it? His 'crimes' pale into relative insignificance compared to Diouf's.

He expects to be able to stab us in the back to join a team, and then join a team that murders our fans, and then ask us for another contract?

NW signed Diouf when nobody wanted him to so I wouldn't put it past him signing Kewell . I for one would welcome him back as he was a great player for Leeds and would be that spark of creativity we need

Ithought is all rubbish about Kewell but have heard from a trustworthy insider that he has met Warnock and will be in squad on Sat. Unbelievable.

The only people welcoming this move must be too young to remember what he's like - as a person, not a footballer. He shafted us (the club AND the fans) good and proper. QPR have made a formal complaint to Leeds accusing goalkeeper Paddy Kenny of sending a series of abusive messages to a member of their management team. {Ed013's Note - Yes, how childish and boring journalism!}

How is it the journalism that is childish and boring and not the 34 year old man so bitter he can't stop himself texting and tweeting about his former club like a spoilt child? {Ed013's Note - You must be a QPR supporter and cant have seen the abuse he gets on Twitter. It has been reported on by a popular morning newspaper, how sad! People give their lives for this Country and find the story on page 18! yet some QPR board member spits out his dummy and complains to the media instead of keeping it in house, man to man and it gets in the papers, find some better stories!}

Can't see much happening about the e-mails to QPR staff unless he has said something very inflammatory or libilous. However he may get a slap on the wrist for some of his twitter comments to QPR fans as NW doesn't really like the players using it and this goes against his rules slightly. However nothing really bad said just a bit of banter so expect Kenny to be told to be more careful what he puts on twitter in the future and that is that.

More worrying is presumably being out till 3am (or at least certainly been up drinking, enough to be sending this sort of text till 3am... as reported).
We had a match on Tuesday!.. and we looked lethargic. Ironically Kenny played well but was he out alone? Draw your own conclusions.

He does right. The 'Tin Pot Club' board can't accept that they let the better keeper go and got punished for it. Nice one Paddy!

Qpr has today made the same comment about there keeper green by putting in bid for ceasre who if he went to qpr would be there number 1 lol

All this from two men who choose to run their club from a twitter account, all i can say is if you put it out there then you have to expect criticism, grow up QPR board and at least show some respect for your fans.

Seeing a few posts on here and also some of the lads talking at work saying NW will walk if we don't start winning soon as he's in his last year. As I said to them, NW has too big an ego to walk away from this job and will only go if pushed from above. Having said that I did hear a rumour that he is happy to use a few loan players to tide us over till christmas as the takeover is looking like completing after the window closes, but if there is no significant investment in the team in january he'll go as although he likes a challenge he knows he can't do miracles.

'If we don't start winning'? We went pre season unbeaten, we're into the next round of the cup and have played 2, won 1 and lost one. So what are you talking about?You make no sense.

Hi, agree with above replies regarding the winning thing, last I heard, 4-nil and one-nil for were counted as wins. My point refers to "he's in his last year."
Technically correct, as this is his first and may be his only year, that is unless some of the lads at work decide he should stay on longer.

If you read the post properly I said thats what some work collegues and some people on this site have said not me. My comments are below and I don't think for one second NW will leave of his own accord unless as I said he doesn't get any investment in the team. I'm perfectly happy with 3 points from 2 games, if it was 3 points from 5-6 games then I would start getting worried then

Agree with the original poster, he may only be here until the end of the year and then possibly retiring so nothing less than getting leeds promoted will be the ending he wants for his career. Only thing that will stop him is the lack of funds. He nearly went in the summer when he was promised money by Bates and didn't get it, he only stayed because of the takeover. If he doesn't get any money in January he can walk away with the excuse that he was given no money so couldn't complete his task which to him would be a failure but not of his doing so ok.

Just cause we lost 1 game against a decent Blackpool team there's no need to panic just yet, and im quite sure Warnock isn't either, when we beat Peterborough on Saturday which im confident we will it'll all be good again and were going up people will be saying, there's 46 games in a season we'll be there or there abouts this year i got a feeling
