Cant see long dropping down a league tbh hope i'm wrong & does bentley have it in him for this league? think we do need pace in both areas so maynard would be interesting & hopefully albrighton(villa) fingers crossed but think some thing will happen this week for sure MOT

Not allowed to loan until January max of 93 days {Ed003's Note - you can loan someone until the emergency loan window closes it doesn't have to be 93 days}

We don't want Bentley, McDs own words pal so your'e wrong

I'm afraid we will fail to meet the wage demands of all 3 of these players, it's more likely we will pick someone up from league 1 or 2

Shane Long.
Move on from Sharp, Le Fondre and Maynard!

Someone on loan from league 1 or 2?!? Very unlikely, unless someone like wolves desperately need to reduce their wage bill

To the 1st reply, he's been given funds to sign a top striker! stop being negative.

Sharp has agreed to join Reading.

BM wants a striker on loan by millwall game saturday. Le fondre looks likely to be the man if reading get billy sharp. Other names mentioned include becchio and nicky maynard. Both proven at this level. {Ed013's Note - There is no way Reading will allow Le Fondre out on loan at this time}

Unbelievable43
Becchio isn't what we need, we have enough target men at the club and he hasn't played for 8 months and will be short of confidence. We need a pacy, young striker like Maynard, Berahino, Guidetti - one of those would be good.

Im hoping that somehow we manage to get both david bentley and shane long bentley on 2 yr deal with club option 3rd and long on loan til jan

Myself I think it will be Maynard as he would suite the system. Le Fondre maybe not but I can see him being pi££ with the signing off Sharpe. Guddeti would also fit in as he scored a lot off goals cutting in from wide striker role. Think Smith needs a chance though

Luciano costs less than berbatov and he scores more goals!!

I think ed is wrong - definately a chance BMcD will go in for ALF and I think a good chance we will get him. {Ed013's Note - I respect your opinion mate and would love to be wrong}

If Le Fondre is so good why is he always on the bench? Shane Long is not a goalscorer! John Guidetti would be a better shout
Agree0

If Reading get Sharp then maybe ALF will be allowed to go out on loan?
Agree1

Why wouldn't a current bench player be able to go out on loan surely the signing of billy sharp would put adam le fondre lower down the pecking order. I could see a loan deal until January with a view to buy

How much of a contribution to guidetti's wages does anyone reckon city would want? Seeing as he's on around 30k a week I believe

Le Fondre is not a premiership striker pal

Does anyone not think that Reading will play Sharp and Le Fondre up front? If anyone they will get rid of Porgrebnyak as he has been useless. There is no way we will get Le Fondre OR Shane Long OR Lucciano Becchio. Everyone knows deep down it will either pass without ANY signing or a premier league reject who doesn't want to be at the club and follows a long list of failed loanees at the club (along with Habibou etc)

Le Fondre got 13 premier league goals. So yes he is a premier league striker actually. Still bitter that Alfie scored v you in the 96th minute?
