Just cut and pasted this from a Leeds group on Face Ache. Hope there's a bit of mileage in this story as we could end up potentially £5m better off and with just as good a player.
"Just had a conversation with a mate of mine who is a steward with Walsall FC. He tells me a Rep from Leeds has been to every home and away game this season. No info as to why but I can only presume (and hope) it's to watch Rico Henry, their left-back who, for me, is probably the top left-back outside the top 2 divisions. Rated at 2 million apparently. Only speculating of course. "

It's fairly obvious we're interested in him. Once Forest game out of way, the speculation is bound to increase as we near the end of the window.

I don't see how it's fairly obvious George. We were linked with him weeks ago but then nothing been said since. I'm hoping this is a good thing and we get a bid in for him asap before another team sign him up.

Dont see as its possible to be watching him right now as Rico Henry is out injured with a dislocated shoulder- is definately a star of the future though.

Nothing really could get said since we won't buy Henry until it's clear Taylor is going and those negotiations are delicately poised. I believe we've seen the last of Taylor at ER and he will wave goodbye to fans at City Ground on Saturday.
It's exciting to be a Leeds fan again.

Probably right George and I suppose if we had already signed Henry other clubs would know our intentions but am slightly worried that we might miss out on this one. Hope not and your right, good time to be a Leeds fan. What a difference a couple of games makes. We were doomed a couple of weeks back! lol

Am I the only one not too excited about potentially signing Henry? We seem to have had the Arsenal mentality of 'Well we have great young players and we will be good in a few years' for a while now. that's fine for them but we can't compete and keep any stand out youngsters. Would much rather see a senior, proven player in instead. Get up, then buy for the future.
