Neil Warnock has apparently urged Shaun Harvey to push a deal through for Stephen Whittaker and Naysmith from Rangers as soon as he heard they were made free agents.
You got it wrong they have refused to have there contracts switched to newco (new rangers) what will happen is a courtcase effectively green still owns there contracts as they are assets of rangers
And i would have had roast pork tomorrow if i'd caught that pig flying past my window.
By law when moving to a newco they get the option to not move if they don't wish too. There assets are things like the ground and fixtures and fittings not the players
Just been on SSN and the two named players are free agents. Would be good at Leeds but can't see them coming tbh.

2.5 would be a fair price for the "poor mans Wayne Rooney" good striker but need to cash in, plenty of other good strikers out there and by the looks of the 3 signings so far you can bet Warnock knows what he is doing!!
Mccormack wasn't s**t at all last season his work rate was good maybe he had a large patch where he didn't score but he always worked hard . had we of been a top 2 team the season just gone mccormack would of scored atleast 30 goals. the thing is aswell a team cant expect 1 player to score all the goals . becchio was injured and came back poor but eventually started to get his sharpness back . we just didnt have anyone to play alongside mccormack for too long and this is why we lost so many games as usually if 1 striker not scoring more than likely the other one is. this is again bates at fault for not giving us extra funds in January to fix this problem . this season maybe better with all strikers back training and hopefully fit .

so grayson gonna get rossco for 2.5 mill. warnock wil think ots christmas. had a good season last season but imo not better than a fully fit becchio or somma.
Somma went missing when starting games he is only any good as a sub, Becchio is a totally different type of player. Neither have the skill or class of Mccormack, there is not many better in the championship.

Totally agree with the majority of posters. The question should be who partners McCormack, not who do we buy instead and it seems to be a false economy if we dont give him a pay rise, yet spend a couple of million on a player who probably wont be as good.

Just been chatting to one of the players that will be staying. Looks like the takeover is happening - nothing said on a completion date though (not that they'd be told a anyway).
Whatever happens NW will have to replace McCormack though as he is expected to go within the next couple of weeks - not to another championship side.
Dear poster warnock will not sell rosco without him having the replacement signed upbefore hand warnock aint like grayson who sells before buying or in graysons case sells without replacing gradel and howson and i really doubt any player knows about the takeover milky
So who's saying we won't have another striker in or replacements for the others within 2 weeks? If there is a takeover in the advanced stages then I'm sure the players would know it was going on
