Leeds United are said to be lining up a loan move for Peterborough United's , centre back Gabriel Zakuani if they fail with Leicester City's Matt Mills. Neil Warnock has been quoted in the past, describing the Congolese defender as 'Solid as a rock'.

I find it hard to understand why teams in our league would loan us their best players - would we send Snoddy out on loan at this stage. Matt Mills falling out with Pearson and Leicester having loads of cover at centre-back would almost be believeable but we'd probably have to pay all of his £25k per week wages any way, even if he wanted to uproot for a couple of months at the end of the season. I think we're dreaming a bit if we think either of these could come off.

According to our local paper 'Leicester Mercury' on sat 24th feb, Mills to Leeds on loan is almost a cert AND we would still be paying the bulk (80%) of his wages, i dont agree with this move myself but if it is true then you Leeds have obviously pulled off a cracking bit of business, would'nt you say?

Matt Mills? Is he not Leicester captain? More chance of Leeds signing Heather Mills! Would be a cracking signing if it pulls off- Matt not Heather!

Trouble is would you let mills go to one of your playoff rivals, simple answer, no! Pearson would not let that happen, might let him go out on loan but not to any club who could jeopardise his own plans to reach playoffs with leicester and get them promoted. Common sense will say its no go for leeds and mills. Any thoughts on that guys?

Yeah, I can't see Pearson wanting to let us have him because of the league rivalry. Hopefully, we can get him in the summer, though (assuming all this about him being unwanted is true)

To the second post- Norwich are. It second rate, I would happily swap the whole staff for ours from delia to lambert, Johnson to holt and I would put my house on that most Leeds fans would do too! Norwich have been for the last 2-3 years one of the most consistent teams around and fully deserve where they are.
