These are the transfers happening in the next month.

Noel Hunt - free

Harry Forrester - compensation

Christopher Forrester ( McDermott has scouted him previously playing for st pats, he's a real talent ) -
compensation

Matt Mills - season loan

Reece Wabara - compensation

Brian is looking for a playmaker in midfield as well but this will be the surprise signing.

I will be happy with these, considering no transfer fees as well!

Believable21 Unbelievable41

Sounds pretty good would defo take those players we need a creative midfielder and it'll be good (to partner greeny)

Agree0 Disagree0

Pretty sure wabara has a year left at city?

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you think compensation is
A few footballs and a training kit if these players are that good compensation will be in the hundreds of thousands each which Leeds don't have
Ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

The above would be fantastic. With the super playmaker too. Still not 100% convinced with the strikers we have. one of our strikers will have to be something different from before - prolific!

Agree0 Disagree0

Chris Forrester has not been approached by anybody from Leeds according to the lad himself.

Leeds and St. Pats Fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Chris Forrester is a decent player.
Winger, pretty tall winger, quickish. Will be a decent addition but won't set the league on fire, but I could be wrong, I usually am lol

Leeds Utd are preparing a transfer package for striker, James Vaughan. -SL

26 Jun 2013 00:46:39
Would take him but am 100% sure he won't join leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Although i'd like to think so, I just can't see us preparing a transfer package for anyone at the moment.

He's coming to huddz pal youve got no money

Leeds united are lining up a bid for Birmingham City's Darren Ambrose.

Would brilliant sighning good pace, brilliant shot

Dont think it will happen though

#mot

Agree0 Disagree0

Always been an admirer of Ambrose. for the MANY years he's been playing.
Still got some quality but no real longevity.
Younger and hungrier available.

Hearing rumours Ashley Barnes of Brighton has been lined up as a possible transfer target by BmD, not sure on how solid this rumour is, but a few of the Brighton fans down here saying they wouldn't be surprised, as he only has a year left on his contract and failed to agree any extension as of yet, plus he fell out of favour a bit last season with both fans and manager (who has now been sacked) after a receiving an 8 match ban for a silly red card.

One thing I will say however is that he certainly fits BmD's profile, young and hungry for success, clearly has ability, and can play both as a centre forward or even out on the left wing.

Believable29 Unbelievable67

Would b a shocking buy. very lazy player

Agree0 Disagree0

Of all the rumours, if this were to be true i'd be delighted. quality player

Agree0 Disagree1

Now then, come on people, I need to know. Is this Barnes a lazy player or would he be a quality player?

Agree1 Disagree0

OP here, honestly, if it was to happen I wouldn't be that impressed, but that's going on what I have been told of the player by Brighton fans and friends, personally I haven't seen him play enough to comment on his actual ability but as first reply mentions I have heard he can be a lazy player, pretty sure we don't need one of them.

These are of course just rumours circulating down here, nothing is concrete, thought I'd pass them on.

Rumour is that David Bentley is set to sign for Leeds?! How true, I don't know. MOT

Believable17 Unbelievable93

Does he fit the young hungry player? He's an infuriating player, a waste of talent but a better wide option than we have at the mo ha

NOT A CHANCE BUDDY!

We can't even afford tommy rowe from peterbourgh how can we aff him

Agree0 Disagree0

Careers over, never was the same player after he left blackburn to join spurs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great player for a half season.
Miles better than any of the wingers we currently. hang on. have we actually got any wingers?

have it on good tip that becchio has definately been in talks to come back initially for a 6 month loan.

Believable10 Unbelievable88

Cant see it myself

Agree2 Disagree0

Don't want him back. Yes he scores goals but his control is poor. He's obviously been quickly found out at Norwich hence them buying new strikers. He forced a move away from Leeds so let him stop where he is and rot in the reserves

Agree2 Disagree0

He will prob end up at QPR

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont be silly

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think he'd fit in with BMD's plans anyway, so not much chance of it happening?

Agree0 Disagree0

Do want him back stay at Norwich Morrison will come good.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Rot in the reserves" Hegemonic attitude of a classic Leeds fan.

Pretty inappropriate if you ask me. People move on, you will learn this valuable lesson soon I would hope.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with 2nd post, leave him where he is, 'hegemonic attitude', person, you said it, people move on, and he has, so let him rot in the reserves

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jun 2013 00:17:55
To be honest I wouldn't pay 1p to get him back. Yes he scored goals but honestly in my opinion the worst striker leeds have had. couldn't hold it up. Fell over, handballed it all the time (well he is argentinian) slow and couldn't pass, need I go on?

Agree2 Disagree0

Your tip is 1/2 right, Becchio has been told he can find a new club however Turkey looks the destination rather than England

Leeds to sign beckford on a two year deal, going to steal him

Believable52 Unbelievable97

Think it's time everyone moved on from these Beckford rumours. Yes would love to see him back in a Leeds shirt, he's head and shoulders above any current striker we have, but it just isn't going to happen. GFH have got no money so it's loans and freebies at best again

Agree2 Disagree1

Would be great to have him back - missed all his great goals. Our forwards just don't do the business!

Agree2 Disagree2

Dont know whether it would be good or bad for us Roy?

LUFC KEK

Agree0 Disagree0

Will someone explain to me why Beckford would be a good signing? He's a league 1 striker on prem wages! The stats prove it! One good goal at Old Trafford doesn't make him awesome. Wake up!

Agree2 Disagree0

Beckford profile:
- young and hungry: no
- hard working: no
- team player: no
- defensive skills: bad
- affordable: probably no
- fits gaffers system: probably no
- goal scorer: yes

Honestly: I'd love to see Beckford in our squad! But would be waste of money in sense that limited (?) funds can surely be more wisely spent! That's gaffer's strenght - no way he'll go for Beckford, and pretty tired of this nonsense. !

Agree1 Disagree1

With the rubbish forwards we have, can't understand any negativity towards Beckford. Proven goalscorer and brings excitement - something that some of our fans have clearly forgotten about. Take Bryam out, there is hardly anyone worth getting excited about in the Leeds squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish forwards?
McCormack - no, Morison and Smith as yet unproven and must be given their chance. Varney - agreed.

JDC

Agree0 Disagree0

Proven goal scorer in league 1. Short memories!

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jun 2013 00:20:27
Agree with first post, but anyway we can't afford tommy rowe how can we afford beckford

Agree0 Disagree0

McCormack - very poor goalscoring record for Leeds last season - 8 goals from 40 games (including 8 sub appearances) - really poor from our so called main striker. Morison - missed loads of chances last season (was much harder to miss in some cases) and for a senior type of player - his form was poor at best. Varney - just rubbish and reckless. None of these excite the crowd. Smith - I like the look of him - unproven but looking forward to see how he plays. Easy to see how Beckford is just what we need to liven things up and with Smith probably winning. knocking on a lot of balls, Beckford would thrive on this supply.

Agree0 Disagree1

26 Jun 2013 10:26:45
he's a good player but I doubt that he would choose us over money, especially seeing how we did last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Beckford has failed in the championship, he was good once I admit but it was in league 1 so quit with all this oh he's soo good and he's just what we need, no what we need is a proven goalscorer and mainly a teamplayer as the only reason ross ain't been great is cus of the rest of our greedy team aka austin. pass to the strikers and create a good chance and ross will finish as he's proved year after year and morrison hasn't been given a decent chance with us and he's 1 of a few that give 100% every game and tbh i'd prefer someone like him than diouf or varney or austin who are just here 4 themselves simple as that. austin is the weak link in our team. shoots from anywhere and misses mostly and he should b passing as he's not a striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jun 2013 18:03:47
If Beckford came back, my season ticket is getting ditched. Simply not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll help you ditch your season ticket - clearly you don't recognise quality. There is no way you can be happy with the strikers at ER. McDermott - get the man home!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jun 2013 08:22:54
Beckford is simply only consistent in League One, so he should concentrate on staying with clubs in this division. He has not scored anywhere near the required number of goals required for any team he has played for in the EPL or The Championship.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some fans need to forget why Beckford left and see a bigger picture which includes a lot of dismal Leeds players. Beckford would be a great signing and show a strong signal of intent. Come on Beckford - get the contract signed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Beckford aside, Leeds do not have £90. 000 never mind £900. 000. The club is skint and it will show in the quality of any signings we make ie loans and freebies.
The GFH takover has been a complete farce. McDermott has stated there are no funds in place for transfers despite assurances that there would be. Sound familiar?

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds interested in Max Power of Tranmere. I was at the father's day stadium tour and this was the one bit of info I managed to get out of the club associates despite constant pestering. Another lower league gem to be uncovered by McD? Great name - that cannot be denied.

Believable14 Unbelievable58

Fabulous name - wasn't it a name adopted by Homer in an episode of The Simpsons? We're going to sign Homer?! Yaaay!

Agree0 Disagree0

Young hungry centre midfielder, haven't seen much of him like but has captained tranmere at every age group except first tem.

However we have Dawson who is only 1 or 2 years his junior is it worth spending money on him rather than bedding in Dawson? Thoughts?

Agree0 Disagree0

Are we after phil throttle as well then?

Agree1 Disagree0

Good player -can play rb too. Won lots of awards at tranmere last season though and signed a new contract recently so not going to be a bargain.

I hear Norwich may be making a bid for byram.
If he has any sense he will stay with the mighty whites!
Just look at Becchio

Believable7 Unbelievable70

Alright becchio and howson have flopped at Norwich but just look at sniffy and Johnson. I doubt they will bid enough for him

Agree1 Disagree1

If the Bechio deal was anything to go buy we'll probably give them Byram and a couple of hundred quid in exchange for one of their ball boys, providing they can find one who's injured and of no real use to them or us.

Agree0 Disagree0

If and when Byram do go, it, l be to a bigger and better club than Norwich City.

Agree0 Disagree0

We might as well all become Norwich supporters at this rate. or at least we should hold Delia hostage until they stop pinching our best players. Anyone any better ideas?

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Jun 2013 00:26:45
Tell her to give us some players. Oh wait I forgot they all are leeds players

Agree0 Disagree0

Look at Becchio? No thanks. hope I never have to look at the s*** b*****d again! :)
