Grayson is the way forward, with money then good, without still good. I want someone who gets us, truly gets what us Leeds fans want. I liked Monk but never really did see him long term as his name was banded around for too many decent jobs. I highly doubt Grayson would be offered a premier league job, but I truly believe he could take us to the premier league and keep us there, like a Sean Dyche type.

I think Monk knew he got lucky in quite a few games last season and thought he won't be able to better that position next year so has gone for the money.

monk gone. offered 12 month extension with deal to have longer term contract and walked. bit gutted he left on his terms and not ours as means we mght not have someone lined up. seems monk is no better than taylor the player he kept then didn't play, maybe end of season slump was as heart wasn't in it! not fussed our form end of season and performance for most were not greatr anyway. there is better out there although he did decent job.

Raineiri great but might not come leeds, pearson great shout would love him, Grayson, love him chance to finish what he started and with backing could do it

Very bad news. This is going to have implications with players who will either be unsettled or use at as an excuse to put a transfer request in. Will we keep hold of Wood or Pontus? Someone has definitely turned his head with a big offer, he said only a few weeks ago that he saw Leeds as a longer term project for himself and that he was looking forward to pushing again next season if his contract got extended, Rad has also made it very clear that he wanted to keep him on and offer a longer contract. Somebody putting up double wages might not be far off the mark sp. Ah well, nothing to be done about it now, who would peeps like to see replace him? Aitor Karanka is the bookies early favorite.

Not Ranieri for me thanks. I can see this dispute being over wages for sure. it was during talks so I'm guessing we stalled over finances and wouldn't be surprised if Radz has orchestrated this to get rid while also seeming to try and please the fans. it was long rumoured that Radz wanted to bring in his own choice but the fans made it clear that they wanted Monk to say which put the Chairman in a difficult position. what best to do - offer low and if Monk accepts it then its ok, if he walks you go t what you originally wanted.
