Supposedly we are chasing Stockdale with his contract up at Brighton at the end of the season, they want to bring in Begovic from Chelsea. Great signing if we pull it off and a good way to start the summer with a show of intent. That said, incredibly harsh on Green if true, he has been fantastic. Have to feel though that we should be concentrating on problem areas first, we already have one of the best keepers in the league.

I like your thinking gummie, it is s shame on for green but I said it a few days ago that if green is treat well he may end up as coaching staff one day? I think that would be useful for youth considering the level he's played at. Stockdale has been phenomenal this year, and I think he'd suit us to the ground, some acrobatic saves, head screwed on, experienced, good hard nutted keeper and a leader, someone the manager and fans can rely on as Brighton have this year.

Stockdale is a leeds lad so that could swing it for him, always a shame to see a player help the team to success then let go, who do you think could cut it in our team in the PL ?

I think roofe has shown potential. Next year he will improve. He has played second fiddle to wood. Roofe just excites me when he gets ball. He only knows one way to go and can go pass players. Add a finishing touch and he will be fine.

gutted to hear newcastle and west ham have been caught in a tax and n.i. scandel worth over 5 millon F. A have said while they are still looking into this it is very likely that MC will be fined and banned for life and leeds are 95% certain of getting a 15 points deduction in all seriousness swindon got relegated after winning promotion due to this. could we make playoffs by default? (really don't understand it myself) will west ham be going down? One ray of hope they seem to hate mike ashly quite a bit so might throw book at newcastle

Could be an interesting few weeks ahead, FA rules stipulate that clubs falling foul of financial misconduct can have points deducted, thing is the the cut off point when the points will be deducted ie pre or post season is the 4th Thursday in March, there are no guidelines to what should happen with clubs who have been promoted.
