Massimo Cellino just landed at Leeds Bradford in the citation he uses must be ongoing talks tomorrow.

lets see what tomorrow brings.

Believable11 Unbelievable32

27 Jan 2014 00:10:36
he has confirmed himself he is not interested in buying any shares or the club in its entirety and is only there as a adviser FACT

Agree1 Disagree8

Hmmmm tomorrow never comes pal!

Agree5 Disagree0

27 Jan 2014 08:00:52
it looks like he's keeping people guessing . he says he's not interested for himself but then I seen a piece that he says he hasn't completed a takeover of leeds united yet. I think he is trying to buy leeds but too much info has been leaked and he's now backtracking telling the press different things .

Agree1 Disagree0

Maybe he isn't buying it? Maybe he knows the "fit and proper persons" is a problem. But maybe through his son? Just a thought.

Rossco to stay at Leeds.he loves it hear.he is planing on been the next billy B. M.O.T. av it

Believable24 Unbelievable29

Paynter?

Agree2 Disagree3

Don't tell me you know Ross personally and he told you he was staying. What similarities does McCormack have with Bremner other than height and being Scottish?

Agree1 Disagree3

Please do not put mcormmak in the same sentence as billy bremner.

Agree5 Disagree1

You honestly think Ross is going to be up there with the likes of Bremner, Gray, Clarke., give me a break.

Agree3 Disagree1

There is no loyalty in football anymore. we will not see the likes of BB again I'm afraid. If someone makes RMc a better offer he'll go.

Agree1 Disagree1

He is a Leeds player also Leeds captain he is only 27, and improving all the time, he is our best player by far also leading scorer, and most important wants to play for LUFC who knows if he will end up being a leeds legend but is trying his best for lufc so support what we have or end up losing him to supporters that will support there players to much neg!! MOT

Agree3 Disagree0

'Paynter' does not start with 'B'. I find the responses to this enthusiastic comment negative and petulant. Any captain of Leeds should aspire to the leadership qualities of Billy Paynter-sorry-Bremner; regardless of height, playing-style or nationality. I'm with the original poster, and I'm becoming irritated by the defeatist attitude of pretend leeds fans on this site. Pull together

Agree4 Disagree0

Only one BB my friend. Wish He was here Today! Playing for the badge would take on a whole new meaning! Passion for these talentless money grabbers is what they expect from their agents during contract negotiations!

Agree2 Disagree1

Get behind the team and stop all this slagging. MOT

Agree3 Disagree0

Ross does not have to be as good as BB (Sorry but he never will be) but if he starts banging in goals consistently and gets us promoted, then maybe he will be held with the same affection. I for one think he can do it.

Agree3 Disagree0

Yes Leeds have had it hard over the passt.but I think sum fans put a downer on the club.look up.not down.the giant will wake. mot

Agree2 Disagree0

Lets face it everyone ross is going. FACT! And we all know it

Agree1 Disagree4

Aye pal there is only one Billy Bremner! just like there is only one Ross McCormack, both different players, Billy is and always will be a Legend! there is no reason why rossco can't be a Legend either, we have a great tradition of Scottish players at Leeds! Strach, and Gary Mac to name two, snoddy could have gone on as well but we all know money talks!! especially in the bates era!, i'm deep in the clyde valley and i'm so proud of the Scottish links with the club I fecking love, so stand up and support the lads. M.O.T

Agree4 Disagree0

27 Jan 2014 01:38:11
Thats the worst comparison ever billy actally won stuff with leeds god rest his soul if he was the next billy bremner which he isn't every club in the world would be interested as he won loads of stuff with leeds

i think if gfh keep saying ross not for sale then he will stay. I don't think he's the type of player to hand in a transfer request.
i think gfh will accept an offer after talking to mcdermott early this week .
i also think if an offer comes in for byram at the same time it will be byram that is sold and mccormack will stay as we still have players that can play rb and if it comes down to buying a new one its cheaper than getting a decent striker

Leeds to sign Adam Le Fondre if funds available. Either through takeover or players being sold. More players to follow aswell.

Believable21 Unbelievable48

No way not gona happen. Leeds looking to pull better one off than that. Going to be a lot better than Alf.

Agree0 Disagree1

Is aswell a striker?

Agree1 Disagree0

Can't believe some of you people are keep believing we are going to get Adam le fondre no chance in hell is he going to sell him he's there top scorer!

Agree1 Disagree1

Obviously we are not going to sign any more players this window with this takeover trouble
MOT

Agree4 Disagree1

We shouldn't need a bloody takeover. We have 20-30k fans every week, must have sold
50k shirts at £40, 9 tv games this season, 2 good cup runs in last 3 seasons, 22.5 million in outgoing transfers. Yeovil and Donny seem to do alright, and Palace that nearly went extinct.

Agree3 Disagree1

50,000 shirts only pays the rent I am afraid.

And the rest just about covers the wages

Agents and greedy players are killing the game

That said, I bought two shirts this season and have 3 tickets for Udders Game.

I love my club, they will always be my club BUT we fans need to realise that "we" will never get our team back in the "big tiime"

Forget the past, it's done, dusted. Mistakes made have put us where we are, and only a rich businessman is going to put us back where we used to be.

It's not a sport as we remember it, it's business, money, rights et al.

And the premiership is only a few short years behind the farce that is the Scottish Premier league. Where the same teams qualify for the Champions league most years and the rest are also rans.

Parachute payments are killing the championship as a contest (unless the relegated club are in massive debt)

Thats why we struggle to compete, we don't have that rich man yet and tbh, even when we do, does anyone really think we can catch up with the big four?

That said it's still MOT

Brilliant! You have nailed the real problem with us and with football. Congratulations!

Hot off the press so to speak.
Goal Keeper, Striker, Centre Midfielder all coming in a few days.
If I'm wrong sue me.

Believable28 Unbelievable57

Hot off the press;
Leeds sign nobody#
Leeds Take over collapses
and yet again the fans are treated like dirt!

Haigh bugger off

Well we have a game Tuesday so I would expect to add about 20+ other players to arrive aswell.
For training and match day. Haha

Can I have your name and address then so I can get ready to issue proceedings

Agree2 Disagree0

Just get out your wallets out GFH and offer Everton 500-800k for their 22 year old Greek international who s renowned for his work ethic and attitude. He will score goals

Can you tell me who the goalkeeper centre mid and striker is then or is it just wishfull thinking like all Leeds fans put some facts on pal or you will end up bankrupt

Agree3 Disagree1

The way I look at it as a Leeds fan is simple, I have absolutely no expectations in anything we do or say and then that way I am not disappointed when ultimately nothing happens!

The simple fact that nobody has come out and said anything about what is happening with the take over suggests to me that both sides feel they have too much lose to risk it. One side will lose face & credibility, the other will lose money. For us it is another season of false hope. MOT

Talk sport say leeds have turned down 5million bid from west ham

the jyg

Believable33 Unbelievable41

Maybe so. But most fans just want the club toi tell what is going on, with the takeover. Instead of the mushroom syndrone we are getting!

Agree1 Disagree0

To be fair are connected to sly, and they just make stuff up to call it exclusive.
It's rubbish, they have borrielo, Cole, Carroll and ravel morrison they don't need ross so chill out peeps.
Snoopy MOT

Agree2 Disagree0

Two sunday papers are reporting on financial problems at the club, following the collapse of david haigh's bid to buy 75% of the clun. The mirror saying ross mccormack to west ham once they imprve their offer and the people saying the club are offering sam byram around for 4 million. off david haigh and take your cronnies with you . Please lucas come and save our club

Agree0 Disagree2

26 Jan 2014 12:35:50
I think they will sell for a min price of 8M with him been the top scorer atm the topscorers always command high fees rhodes signed to blackburn for that and he scored all his goals in leauge one when blackburn paid that for him

Agree1 Disagree1

Must all be true if it's in the Sunday Mirror and People, both Manchester newspapers so love Leeds - not. I like most other people now think Haigh and his cronies are just another bunch of publicity seeking fakes using the good name of Leeds United to feed their obsession to be in the public limelight. I have been a season ticket for 26 years and unless something major happens before transfer window closes on Friday and we sign some quality players this season will be my last

Agree2 Disagree1

26 Jan 2014 14:58:32
is it haigh and the consortium that don't have any money to complete the deal?
or
is it gfh trying to sell some assets before they leave?

Agree1 Disagree0

Keep the faith everyone, david haigh has said he has spent the weekend with the chairman, working very hard sounds like there is still positivity going on, MOT (check out his twitter site folks).

Agree1 Disagree1

Haigh is the new Ridsdale, how many clubs will take to near bankruptcy.
Snoopy MOT

Agree2 Disagree1

How fickle fans are. Haigh has put his own money in. We don't know why the TO has stalled. But we do know so called fans are blaming people when they haven't a clue. I certainly wouldn't put my money into the club for the sake of fans like you.

fawksey

Agree1 Disagree0

Take it knew he was a flash in pan misses far too many chances

Agree0 Disagree1

Just stop moaning you lot and start supporting no excuses anymore for any of you

Agree1 Disagree1

I would snap there silly hands off if they offered that! 5 million for an average player like him, run all the way to the bank with that!

Agree0 Disagree3

27 Jan 2014 01:44:17
Leeds are in financail trouble what rubbish gfh had to prove they had the funds to run the club when the takeover happend plus if leeds was introuble they wouldn't be signing players nor would they of turned down 4 million from west ham also the loaned money could not be retrived due to fair play and could not of been loaned if leeds could not of afforded to pay it back the list goes on and on and oh ON stop trying to unsettle our great support with this noncence

Agree1 Disagree0

Did any of you actually watch the Leicester game, McCormacks job is to score goals, had at least three glorious chances to do so, didn't score one of them, and that's not unusual, he's overrated, get rid.

Agree0 Disagree1

Heard from one of juniors up at TA on Wednesday that Leyroy Leta & Luke Moore were there. One trained, the other was just there. Source is totally reliable as I've had other info which has been bang on the money. that said I'm totally gutted. These type if players will not get us out if this league. I know we're working on a 3year plan but these guys won't even get us in the plat offs this year. Need Adam Lefondra and an experienced midfielder like Whittingham. Come on board. sort if out!. In BMD we trust, MOT.

Believable24 Unbelievable45

The calls for Adam Le Fondre continue despite Brian McDermott publicly stating Reading would not sell him to a Championship rival . move on and think of another name.

JDC

Agree3 Disagree1

How desperate are we supposed to be for snippets of transfer news when our most 'reliable source' is now a junior. And what a tease you are when you wait 5 days and then won't even tell us which one trained and which one was "just there". 'Believable'? Yer aving a larf.

Agree8 Disagree0

Probably get rubbish down for this but don't think lita would be that bad! Scored a cracker for blues against us last season! Get his form from Bristol City and reading back and he would add pace and directness to us! Surely better than Barney who scores max 5 a season!

Leeds are a top 5 club in england size wise and the biggest 2nd tier club in the world even when they was in leauge one i'm very disapointed that we are not signing specail players you think Manchester United arsenal liverpool would they be signing players signed in recent times everyone of mcdermotts signings have been good don't get me wrong but Manchester United arsenal and liverpool if they was in the championship would be signing specail players not strikers what have been mentioned who score 30 goals in 185 games we still have a pulling power I don't think we are approaching these specail player because players at the club though fear we can't afford or that they would reject leeds we have a massive pulling power and could get players for smaller fees how manytimes you see premiership clubs buy players for like 300k and they turn out to be good pemiership playes leeds have the money and definately have the pulling power why aren't we doing this? We will never go up unless we sign specail players

Agree2 Disagree3

It doesn't matter what size club we are, whether we are mountain or pebble sized, to have this notion of an 'xyz year plan' is ridiculous.Too many years have slipped through the net with this mentality. It is time to demand more as a club. Signing third rate players that were good in 2007 isn't going to do the trick. Best bet I'd say is ship all the current money grabbers out and get some local lads from Beeston in. Atleast they would play with more commitment. We are a team. Not a brand.

Last poster about 'special players', you are living in a fantasy world my friend. It's all about MONEY. Money talks and rubbish take decent wages and don't perform. What era are you clinging onto? The Revie Era? I'm betting too young. I'm thinking either Wilko's Barmy Army or you Lived The Dream with many of us. Get your head out of your arse and smell more than you're own coffee. Money my friend, money. As soon as we get that we sign sign better players and drag ourselves up. Then you sign the 'special' players you crave. Do you think the rest of us don't long for the days of top flight Prem football? Leeds fans like you disgust me. Deluded and dangerous for our great club.

Real fans MOT make the current crop believe they are special.

Money talks my friend you mean like leicester forest blackburn leicester have spent a bomb blackburn spent 8 mil on 1 player and if they don't get promoated are in serious trouble i'm not saying get freebies i'm saying get players in who are good enough you don't need to spend a lot of money to get quality players there's been players signed for small fees who become world class and better than the 8 mil paid for rhodes so money doesn't garentee a quality player if you rember when rigsdale was spending "money" where did that get us into leauge one for 3 years and lost all our decent players and lost our stadium and training ground our lowest point in the history of the club money does work yes but it needs to be spent in the right way and on the correct players who will get us promoated and who will make us profit when the time to sell happens

Agree1 Disagree1

26 Jan 2014 15:59:42
Reply to the message about been "duluded so this person is "duluded" because he thinks we should be signing players who will be good at this level so your saying we should continue to sign leauge one quality players untill we get into the premier leauge that won't happen unless we sign good players like mcdermotts doing if we make this bunch feel "specail" we will never get promoated maybe your one of them fans who enjoys leeds. Having poor players and performing badly

Last poster about 'special players', you are living in a fantasy world my friend .

totally agree with you. Support the players we've got, the manager we have and hope Haigh gets the TO done soon.

By Juniors I mean 1st squad player but not actually played for 1st team. He 'a on loan at another club but still trains at TA when the club are not training. It's the truth pal but if u choose not believe me then cool matey. Just because 2 players at TA doesn't mean we defo signing them I guess. Could just mean Brian's checking them out. At least I'm hoping that's the case as don't want both or either of these at Elland Road.

26 Jan 2014 22:43:38
when I said special players mate I meant that we should buy players capable of promotion to the premiership not too much for a club like Leeds to obtain I believe we have got a special manager in McDermott he has signed some decent players when I say special players I don't mean Ronaldo messi but if McDermott is given time he will get the players in i'm not living in the past I started supporting Leeds in 2008 as soon as I developed interest in football and if been not a true fan is not respecting a few certain individuals players who do not try and give everything for the shirt and picking up wages whilst fans go without to see them play and are taking the mick out of them if that makes me not a true fan then obviously I'm not
