Graham Bean (consultant to the club) has been sacked. Something to do with the re-scheduling of the Reading Match on Wednesday.

The fact that we play Sheff Wed on Saturday at 12.15 and Mr Cellino is not happy. He wasnt around when it was done.

Popey reporting it on Twitter

He moved the game and only gives us 2 days to rest before Sheffield so I can see why he is unhappy. Reading asked for the game to be moved as they would only have 2 days rest before they played us!

Also if you believe we are going to get a transfer embargo in the Jan window do we need to be paying a contracts guys wages when there are no contracts to draw up?

I see that as an excuse & not reason to sack him. More to it. Just wish MC would stop the drama's every week. None of this helps with FL on our backs, press reporting badly about him. Players need no distractions now ffs. So we got 3 games in a week, big squad, playing well & a break after it. Stop with the drama's when we're doing well. MC sometimes his own worst enemy.
I can only assume this is to do with FPP & Bean may have spoken to Harvey or along those lines. If so deserved to go but really poor unbelieveable excuse to sack him. Enough nonsense now. Concentrate on football now

It's because Sheff game is on Sky.

Massimo wants us to look good so we can get more games.

Possible hangover to Rotherham game (also on Sky)

Agree0 Disagree0

He should have been sacked, no football players can recover from a game in 2 days.
Let alone from a game against Reading leading into a derby.

MC employed him before summer he's helped with transfers but if he should have spoken to Massimo and hasn't why is he trying to make such important decisions.

Points are hard to come by in the Championship and there are close margins at the end of the season.

There is another way of looking at this

what the hell has it to do with us?

if a person is sacked in any other company it is nothing to do with anyone other than the company sacking and the ex employee.

Why we see people jumping up and down and going on about unity and stability and making waves blah blah blah blah blah when we know absolutely nothing of what went on.

Why should MC explain every move he makes within lufc. Last time I looked it was his company not a publicly shared company, although it has public interest.

In any other club this would have barley got a mention but here mischievous twitter trolls and cheap journalists make it a sh*t storm.

Massive amount of conjecture, there, Slough.
A consultant can be got rid of whenever you want. Not a full time employee and it is a perfctly good reason to get rid of him. Only giving us two days prep so that another team have an extra day rest before playing us doesn't do us any favours at all so, Bean's actions weren't in the best interests of the team. On top of that, it's Reading who were pretty loud about telling Cellino to do one when he was after their academy boss. This is a non-story. Won't materially affect anything and plenty of people could be brought in to do a similar job on short term contract basis.

Slough
We are in one of the best periods I can remember in a long, long time. Don Cellino is doing such great work for us. Why do you feel the need to be so critical? I agree with Spain that this is a minor internal matter. It has nothing to do with the football. For the second time this week I am disgusted with Phil Hay and Adam Pope. Why on earth have they given this so much air time but to cause trouble. If I were Don Cellino I would stop talking to them and then they'd be out of jobs.

Well done Massimo for getting rid, our club isThis is just another example of how consultants and the like seem to think they have the power to do as they like with no consequences. I am sure he was aware of how Massimo works and a decision like that was not his to make.Well done Massimo for getting rid it was people like Mr Bean who got us into the mess we were in to start with. Maybe it will make other employees realise that the priority is the team,

Agree0 Disagree0

This is totally irrelevant to anything to do with the team
