Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Just been reading Y.E.P with both Brendan Ormsby and Peter Lorimer's columns respectively - these guys are worlds apart in their analysis and views of LUFC season and transfer market activity (or lack of)

In fairness i believe Brendan, he says it for real - 'the signings are crap and Delph's not up-to it'...! (in brief)

Leeds need leaders not loans or kids

Believable35 Unbelievable5

I think the signings loan or otherwise are pretty good so far. Delph is class and will get better the more he plays and I have high hopes for Rogers. I've only seen clips of him on you tube but he looks very quick and very talented.

Agree0 Disagree0

You're not going to upload the worst bits to youtube ...

Agree0 Disagree0

I will be surprised if delph can do a job in central midfield. He is too light, he is not a tackler, he is not a holding midfielder and he is to young and inexperienced to control the game.
I agree with the original post which agrees with ormsby. we need a leader.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fact is Ken is still screwing us over, top ticket prices bargain basement signings, always has been always will be till he goes. I'm not saying spend big pay loads but look at the 2 signings Reading just made quality players for not much money.... Do us a favour Ken 0121 do one.........

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a lot of Robbie Rogers on you tube and if you watched some of it you would see what I mean. Ok this is a different league for him but I think he could be a quality signing and Delph can tackle and pass and score a few goals. He is class and I am delighted to get him back. We all know about Bates but get behind the lads, negativity does nothing. {Ed013's Note - Robbie Rogers has his own website! By the looks of it he was a hero in America}

Agree0 Disagree0

Give robbie a chance for f*** sake. if he was from brazil or spain you would be more positive and up for it. you tube at the mo is like a cv, so no you would'nt put up your s**t bits would you.mot

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't judge Delph over 1 game (which we won anyway) and we haven't even seen Rodgers play yet so I don't know how anyone can complain right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy who said Delph can't tackle, have you ever watched the kid play!? He's bloody malicious! Amount of bookings he got for snapping people before he went to Villa..

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm the original poster, I really do hope Rodgers becomes a cult figure, and really think Delph and Clayton will form well - point is from Brendan we shouldn't paper cracks with toothpaste, loan signings only do a temporary job, nobody knows if his signing will last the full season with his release cause -

Agree0 Disagree0

I am the guy who said Delph can't tackle. Yes I've seen him play, not at villa, but at Leeds and admittedly he was quite a bit younger. He played at LW or LM or whatever you want to call it. He was one for not getting back. I have never seen him play CM, I only heard the game last week on radio, in which Leeds were useless as a group and I hardly heard his name. There were plenty of comments about how the Ipswich midfield dominated play.
Yes, I understand the comment, it is only one game and I can't judge on that. I am judging only from past experience and knowing he is not a CM player.
This guy is not a batty and not a dacourt, never mind bremner. We need a holding midfielder. Someone who can tackle, and hold onto the ball, and use it well.
Delph although I hope to be proved wrong is not that man.

Agree0 Disagree0

When he played LM for us there were numerous times he got booked/injured a player because of running back and hacking someone down, memory loss? Or radio listener? He's a really good signing mate, just needs time after being out for a while, stay positive :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Delph was a class above in that Ipswich game didn't misplace a pass. He TACKLED HARD and the fans in the stand love him. so don't say hes not up to it if u didn't watch the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

I assume you two were at the game to be able to say what you are saying. Yes I am a radio listener, as I live too far away to attend regularly. I can only go on what I hear and what is said and although I am sure you would admit listening to LUTV the commentators are biased towards Leeds, it was clearly stated that the Ipswich midfield dominated Leeds.
Now I have watched a few games at eland road too, and for years Leeds have been dominated there.
If Delph is the tough tackling CM you say he is then great, maybe he is what we have been missing. I stand corrected.
I understand it will be only his second game on Tuesday and against in form Birmingham, let's see what happens then and the next few games.
I hope you are both right.

Agree0 Disagree0

You mean like alan smith to get in there and control the game but hey it looks like hes off to mk dons now we have a crap chairman at times .

Agree0 Disagree0

LOAN SIGNINGS CHEAP BUYS !!
DELPH ! ROGERS ! HESKEY !

COME ON - WE ARE LEEDS WHERE IS THE MONEY KEN?

Agree0 Disagree0

Any body remeber eddie lewis how many of you heard of him before he came to leeds?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you presuming Leeds have signed Heskey and Smith??

We have bought in two or three players who may or may not do a job, and having seen Grayson pull in the likes of Lonergan and McCormack, and Clayton I have faith in him, despite others who may have not lived up to expectations?

Rogers looks like he may perform, lets give him time, rather than prejudge?

Why do you all keep kicking SG and KB?

We are solvent, we are in touch with the playoff players, and we have a massive debt to pay off if we do get promoted this year?

I think you all need to cross the penines and go and support scumchester and come back with a smile on your face every week - oh they lost again didn't they - ha ha ha!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Rogers will become a good signing, spending money does not guarantee anything, the most worrying thing for me is having signed Rogers and Townsend we have now been set up to lose Snoddy to a last minute bid "that was too good to refuse" Grayson has already layed the foundations for this in today's press.

Leeds looking to loan in Emile Heskey and John Flanagan from Liverpool.

Believable11 Unbelievable41

Know way on earth do we want a useless lump like Heskey, Get real ppl your on cloud cookoo. No way will that man improve our team, plus who is going to pay for that.?
Wake up ppl get real and back our guys..MOT.

Agree0 Disagree0

"loan in Emille Heskey and John Flanagan from Liverpool", is that spooky or what, I show my ignorance, I only knew of the Heskey who plays for Aston Villa,
But as Yoda once said, "there is another.."

Agree0 Disagree0

Larry has already Laughed off rumours of Heskey on Yorkshire Radio."someone came to me and said i hear we're getting heskey on loan? I said he'll do well been injured wont he?"

Agree0 Disagree0

Luckily for us, heskey has stated on more than one occasion he would never play for Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Heskey ever comes to leeds and im never evr going back to the club i love (leeds united)
he is the biggest waste of space ever!

this is Fact!
fact that i'll never go back to e.r

tommo

Agree0 Disagree0

Tommo, no room for facts on a rumour site, if you hate Leeds so much that you will stop supporting them because they may sign a player you do not like then as we say down my way, "see ye, don't need ye"
Go and support a team who only make signings you approve of, (if you find one, good luck to you)

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll do as i please pal ive paid myh hard earned cash into leeds united for 17 years now and i wanna know why we would be linked/get an ageing useless waste of space like heskey we have 1 in paynter who cant hit a cows derriere with a banjo.
As for there is no room for facts on a rumour site it is also a public forum and i can raise my opinions here if i like, i have been 1 of the strongest supporters of bates/grayson over the last 12 months but if this deal is to become true as i said in an earlier post i will not ever support leeds again!

OH YEAH FACT!

TOMMO

Agree0 Disagree0

Flanagan i would take although would prefer our own players for a change, but Heskey!! get real! we don't need strikers and we certainly don't need him, we need DCM and 2 CH's.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tommo Tommo Tommo, settle petal, for your next posts, ive should be i've, myh should be my, wanna, (unless you are a spice girl) should be want to, and it is proper, and not to say polite, to at least try to use capital letters when appropriate.

When you post your reply, let me know how many goals you have scored for Leeds.

p.s. before you post your next rant, why don't you call Sky and have a you verses Billy Paynter "hit a cows rear end competition", money raised going to Jimmys.

Rumour is Ed. may move this to the banter site, go on come back at me. {Ed003's Note - Cant be moved it's on a rumour thread, It's not a spelling competition either. }

Shefki Kuqi and Emile Heskey, possible loan targetss for Simon Grayson. As Ken Bates doesnt want to spend money he is looking at bargain loan deals. What do you guys think?

Believable10 Unbelievable30

As much of a donkey as he is, think heskey could do a job for us short term. could use him to hold the ball up and feed mccormack and would be a good option for me...only problem is KB wont pay his wages!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather play paynter than heskey, he is god awful, how he played for england is beyond me. {Ed020's Note - i gotta disagree with you there}

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is going to pay heskey,s wages?
we might just be able to afford to buy shefki
but i even doubt that

Agree0 Disagree0

Kuqi wants a permanent club so we would probably have to sign him so think he may not come as for Heskey we ain,t got a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Emile Heskey??,we`ve already got our fair share of `strikers`that arent scoring goals. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I have a large lump of wood in the back garden as well. Perhaps could do a similar job.

Agree0 Disagree0

This rumour is a load of crap, plus there is no way papa smurf will buy anyone who is not fully fit he has said this, same as there will be no return for ALAN SMITH he is not fit enough and plus that he has had his chance to return before now (i can tell you that, this is from a person who could have told you ROSS MCORMACK was signing 2-3 days before the moved was finalised when he moved to LEEDS UTD).KEEP WATCHING THIS SPACE AND YOU LEARN SOMETHING.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think there both about as much use as this post. RUBBISH.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant we just get a chocolate fireguard? Cheaper and better.

Agree0 Disagree0

No offence guys but this is crap emile heskey is a tank and crap whats he gonna do he cant even run to be honest can he we need a fast finishing striker with good quality and a cb and a midfielder to replace jonny !

Agree0 Disagree0

Becchio can hold the ball up and is better than Heskey, Kuqi is a journeyman better suited to lg1. It is CH x 2 we need not sub standard strikers.

Agree0 Disagree0

As far as a permanent replacement for Howson is concerned it won't be done till the summer and i think the manager may be replaced first.

Agree0 Disagree0

Matty Pattison will not be offered a contract with us - Source OS.

I hope to god Grayson has his eyes on someone better, because Pattison is a decent player and would have hooked up well with Somma (when he's back from injury)

Believable27 Unbelievable6

Who says he'd have linked well with Somma? Just because they're both from South Africa?
Does that mean we should get back Mike Grella because he's guarenteed to link well with Robbie Rogers?
Muppet!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want Pattison, renowned as a booze hound and not even getting in the first team at Sun downs in South Africa. He would just be a cheapo squad player. Got enough dead wood already. As for linking up with Somma his compatriot, it hasn't gone well for the two Finns currently at ER has it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good effort pal, this is meant to be a rumour site, when did it become a quote from the OS site?
I mean anyone can do it.
Redfearn praises the youngsters, rumour or on the OS?
Leeds in talks with LA over Bruce, rumour or on Leeds site?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Messi would work great with Bechio from the same country. RRRRR GARY

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone think Becchio's poor form this season may be down to Bessone leaving in the summer? NOW THERE'S AN IDEA!

Agree0 Disagree0

This is almost unbelievable. We need a creative midfield player and give one aq trisl. In that trial period he creates and scores. We then think we have other people in the same mould who can do the same. Who? Nunez....well play him behind a central attacker then and let him create instead of dumping him on the wing. Even then, creative midfielder..,. I struggle to think who we have got if you take wingers away. We have lost a fantastic opportunity. Yes, he did have off field problems in the past. Maybe that is still there... but we knew who hw was and what we had got before he came. Now we have a loanee who will not stop and who is not even as good. I am sick of cock eyed decisions that are never prioperly justified.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pattison is a Left Midfielder, we have Pugh, White, Sam, Rogers, Nunez and Snodgrass who play there .....

Agree0 Disagree0

It's quite simple, we're looking for a CM, but only one good enough to start regularly, Pattison clearly isn't.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2012 10:39:20
no deal for matty pattison os

Believable15 Unbelievable3

Disappointed with didnt take a shot with this guy 2 goals in 2 games from midfield sounded promising. Grayson knows best i suppose.....MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

SG says he is a good player but we already have a number of players in his position.
Why trial him then?
From the video he did look light but a good passer of the ball. He looked a better version of howson to me. I suppose we do have clayton, Delph (loan) and nunez who fit this role.
Does this mean SG is looking at a holding CM or will he say we could't find anyone to match our requirements.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes true- apparently SG says although he was good,we already have a number of players who fill that role.
We have central midfielders who don't get a shot on target 2 games running, let alone score twice! Granted reserve football.
SG must have known his position and the type of player he is- why look in the first place?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's gotta be thinking that he's got someone else on the way, if he didn't he'd keep him around on trial a little bit longer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Norwich fans dont rate him at all, known as 'Fatty Matty Pattison' at Carrow Road. And if he cant even get into the team at Sundowners in South Africa, how the hell is he going to be any good for Leeds? Good job on this one.

Agree0 Disagree0

SG wouldn't know a good player if it slapped him him the face. I know lets let a player who has scored 2 goals in 2 games go and sign a fin with no goals. Two plus two equals 5..that's right Simon you're very good at sums....muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

Would these be the big tough games where even Billy one goal managed to score?
Hardly makes him a world beater.

Agree0 Disagree0

We saw an 8 minute clip on you tube edited by his agent, grayson saw him for 3 hrs game time plus training...if he was any good we would have took him, after all he was free

Agree0 Disagree0

Simon Grayson looking at Drury, would be a quality signing.

Believable12 Unbelievable10

Which Drury do you mean ? Adam from Norwich or Andy from Ipswich ?

Leeds will not buy hardly anyone in the remainder of the transfer window. However, they are still looking at Mark Simpson the young 17 year old Bolton striker. Very reliable as he's my brothers best mate and has been approached numerous times. {Ed020's Note - so your uncle is in the financial game at EL and your brothers best mate is linked to bolton? same ip address.}

Believable8 Unbelievable18

Lol, caught out big time. Grow up and stop posting made up rumours, you child !

Agree0 Disagree0

"leeds will not buy hardly anyone" - i tihnk that tells u all u need to know about this guy ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

We need experienced players not...... youth players

Agree0 Disagree0

What makes Mark Simpson reliable just because he is your brothers best mate?

Reliable doing what? Getting the bin out on time?

So was the player approached, or his club, and by who?

Ed, is there not a protocol about approaching players under contract at another club? {Ed013's Note - Yes its very naughty and could result in a fine}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol, I love this naming and shaming that happens now to person poster that post rubbish all the time.

Top job ED!!

Leeds United are looking to swoop for a number of Ex-Premier League players who are now free agents...

Alan Smith
Robert Pires
Sol Cambpell

Also to strengthen at the back with the signings of experienced Scottish international David Wier and ex Leeds United player Matthew Kilkgallon.

Reliable source - My uncle is part of the finacial team at Elland Road for Leeds. Leeds have got history for signing ex has-been Premier League players.

Believable9 Unbelievable44

Captain Campbell, and Lance Corporal Pires ......... Dad's Army returns!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumour has it, simon grayson will be signing my 45 year old dad as well, i know this cos its my dad, seriously with the complete guess and fake sources, dear oh dear

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you sure your uncle doesn't run a retirement home? Weir is 41 and the others not far behind utter rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't Pires starting up the Indian Premier League? With Fowler, Crespo and others?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sol Campell.........would rather have.....my Grandad

Agree0 Disagree0

If we sign 5 players before the deadline, I'll be absolutely gobsmacked. And if we buy 5 players with a combined age of 150 years, my smacked gob will be more smacked then ever

Agree0 Disagree0

That'll be the same Kilgallon that is currently in the Sunderland first team then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Jermaine Beckford to sign for leeds tomorrow very reliable source as im his cousin {Ed020's Note - loan? permanent? what terms? when today?}

Believable8 Unbelievable37

no i'm his dad, and i say he's giving up football to persue his love of landscape gardeningIm his dad and i say he stays! stop with all the bs im getting allergic to it {Ed020's Note - no i'm his dad, and i say he's giving up football to persue his love of landscape gardening}

Agree0 Disagree0

Was beckford not offered to leeds last month, can not see him coming back at all

Agree0 Disagree0

Bates has only recently commented we were offered him but turned it down so very unlikely.

Agree0 Disagree0

My heart says brilliant, but my head says we need midfield, right back and centre half

Agree0 Disagree0

Wake up u muppet got offered aweek or so ago didnt want him so master bates said . ps bayes out

Agree0 Disagree0

I know for a fact that he is on £38k a week at Leicester. Papa Smurf won't pay his wages and I can't believe Leicester will pay it for him to play at another championship club
Try and make up another story that could be believable ! Y'plank

Agree0 Disagree0

Could someone explain were the 4m fee would come from for this deal?

As thats what leicester payed when he signed in the summer, so there is no way they would sell him on the cheap.

utter nonsense

Agree0 Disagree0

Im pretty sure i read that a player cannot represent 3 teams in one season? (ok loans may be diff)?

Agree0 Disagree0

How many times beckford has only played for 1 club this season he moved to leicester in the summer so never played for everton this season. be good if he did come back he was a goal machine for us {Ed013's Note - Ken Bates said in his weekly interview that Leeds had been offered him at the start of the month. I think he made 2 sub appearance for Everton this season}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant play for three teams in one season please do your homework first

Agree0 Disagree0

Please please have him back from us hes absolute sh== and fu==== idle

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2012 08:03:49
Wes morgan looks like he is going leicester so we should sign st leger Also upson is questioning his future at stoke if ken puts his hand in his pocket and gets those two i think we will 100% make playoffs and be very close to automatic MOT {Ed020's Note - i've always said about upson, would be a great addition if he dropped down a level and wages, can't see him doing that tho. but that would definatly sort out our defence.}

Believable8 Unbelievable14

I think Turner who won promotion to the premier league with Hull a few seasons back & now warms the bench at Sunderland would be a great addition at centre half. Him & Tom Lees would make a brilliant partnership.

Agree0 Disagree0

About time leeds made a big sighning upson would be that.id then be happy with loan cf and youngsters coming on

Agree0 Disagree0

Sean St Ledger has settled his differences with Big Nige and has come off the transfer list -- Source Saturdays Leicester Mercury

Apparently Wes Morgan signed for Leicester? St.Ledger and Wellens on their way to ER?

Believable13 Unbelievable14

I hope St Ledger isn't on his way, he's awful and a trouble maker.
