He's out of contract in June and would probably leave for free in summer - clearly not in Monks plans so fair enough I guess. Probably got about 500k for him. Is that better than nowt and a bit player for the rest of the season? We will see.

Now reports are getting out claiming that although Jansson's permanent move was triggered after the Forest game, the contract won't actually be signed until the summer and might even be dependent on promotion! No word from the club yet either way so fans treatment about as good as usual.

I'd heard that we might not pay out for him until summer so that doesn't come as a shock, but not sure about this condition re: promotion. That's a bit of a worry if it's true.

His contract starts at end of his loan agreement. Looks guys it means come summer we have him for 4 yrs instead of 3 1/2.

some reports that the agent of Salernitana forward Massimo Coda has accepted a bid from Leeds. Club and player also need to agree so not sure how concrete this would be or even if the agent will have any impact (who ever heard of an agent accepting a bid? ) Although Coda is apparently in good form in Sera B I think this could be a disasterous move if true.

It stinks of a board signing rather than a Monkey Magic one and that kind of signing could unsettle the dressing room and lead to a break down of the team spirit that is serving us so well at the moment. plus, we have already seen that most Seria B players we land can't cut it in the championship.
