Seems we could be reinvigorating our interest in Celtic forward Stokes. Looks like they are willing to let him leave this transfer window, Bolton supposedly had an offer tabled but have since been put under transfer embargo.
Rumour has it that us, Cardiff and Preston are now set to battle it out for him. Good signing if we can pull it off. In his prime at 28 and has a better strike rate than anyone else we have been linked with, could maybe do with an attitude readjustment though.

Has fallen out with management and the owners, he isn't starting in the first team, was suspended for 2 weeks due to comments on twitter and they have had him training with the u21 team. Think its the second time they have had problems with him which is maybe why they want him out now. Also just because we are going to make an offer doesn't mean they will accept.
