Just back from the game and yes there was strong rumours that Becchio is going to Hull, i cant see that personally but still cannot understand why he was on the bench and when we make a sub like for like we bring on Varney. I feel NW was tactically naive again, we were second to every ball, there was no passion, no fight, no passing, no running into spaces, Varney comes on at half time and looks knackered on 55 mins, every team is allowed an off day but ours are coming far too often. I don't know what the solution is whether its a new manager or yet another overhaul of the team apart from Byram and McCormack there was nothing but empty shirts out there.

Why put varney on at all.... both thomas and becchio on bench and diouf for that matter.... absolute garbish game all round no positives can be taken from.it

Becchio was ready to go on any time today. He was warming up on the touchline through the first half and was doing the same down to his shorts in the second. Rearing to go so why didn't he put him on?

while Varney got another run out on the wings in the second half as his replacement - barmy!
No width at all with Thomas and Hall keeping the bench warm and no service to the strikers...
Another poster says Brown to sign contract extension. He's not worth the bother and just iritates everyone with his bad tackling and mouthing off at everyone. He got himself booked today for refusing to leave the pitch while he was being treated for a 'bleeder'. All that did was crank up the Hull supporters to louder levels. Bad day at the office and over an hour getting out of the car park

He s not moving warnock said he will not sell him at all even if people offer money.

Yeah becchio is on 4 yellows but he sat out today's game wud it not of been better to play today and poss get 1 game ban v Bolton which ever way look at it he missed a game

It made no sense to leave becchio out even with the yellow cards, if he got booked he would miss 1 game through suspension, but with leaving him out today he missed a game anyway, makes no sense at all,

Total lack of any ideas most passes went back to Kenny no width or flare, Warnock is lost and time for the new owners to bring in fresh ideas, RDM please.

Becchio didn't play because if he got booked he would have the Bolton game

Warnock admitted Becchio, doufy, Thomas all causing knocks so did not want to risk it playing them with Bolton game on Saturday. Wanted to rest them so they not out for longer by playing them with niggles. Makes sense but both Becchio and Thomas warmed up today and looked fine to me.

If hthis yellow card thing was the reason, why was he even on the bench then? surely he'd have been left out altogether if this yellow card thing is true.

Leeds Utd were lucky it wasn't about 6 nil today but only for Kenny the display was very concerning, if there is no real changes the season is over.

Warnock is rotating his squad especially over this period. Thought whilst things didnt go to plan for Somma he looked a little bit fitter. I think Warnock has picked the games we should win and the games where we might struggle. Bolton is a game we need to take 3 points so left players on bench that will play. Those who think Kenny is the goal keeper Warnock thinks he is need to look carefully because yes he makes saves but then lets ones in you think he should have done better. The first goal today went in the far post on the angle so if he gets his angles right should save and the second came from a corner because he touched the ball round the post when it was already on the byeline a foot from the post so would have been a goal kick. Dont get me wrong he isnt a bad keeper but I dont think he is any better than the ones we got rid of ie Lonergen , Kasper , Ankregren etc. I think he now needs to decide whether to use 3 at the back or not and not pick and chose the games. If you play 3 you need to do it regular and it will come plus Byram and possibly White are suited to that formation even though White wouldnt even be on the bench for me. To the pessamists I think we are probably 2-3 players short because if you get a talker in to lead that makes a difference. I think we need a CB, CM and striker, Tate worrying me at minute and looks another MIchalik.

Irritating. We do need a CB, a LB, a CM, a striker, pace and leadership...
This is no different from the position we were in last season.
Warnock to be shown the door, in my book. He's done nothing to improve the team.

Why does anyone think RDM could do a job as a manager?
As naieve as Warnock's team selection.

Supposidly becchio was on bench today because he is rumoured to be going to hull

If he was to go I would have thought he be going to a premier club for more then Hull would pay

Where would they get the money from to pay for him Their chairman is as tight as Bates

More likely that his yellow cards are cleared after this match and as he was a yellow card off a ban and this was likely to protect him from a ban

Steve Bruce said on Radio Humberside that Becchio will not be signing for Hull. He has his sights on Frazier campbell from Sunderland

Betfair has good odds on him off to Celtic

I posted this before. Celtic were after him a couple of years ago but cooled off. Now that Wanyama is likely to go to Man U, Becchio might be tempted.
Personally, I'd be tempted, too. Playing in the Champion's league is a hearty step up from the Championship.

Hulls chairman payed 40 million worth of debt off and then spent 2.6 million on 1 striker hardly sounds tight. hull is a club with no debt a good manager and an even better league position were as leeds are skint evn the new owners have said there isnt much wedge

I think you will find that what the new owners said is that they won't be spending SILLY money in january . Leeds is a club with no debt , a good manager , STILL a good lge position , and promised funds for warnock in jan .and celtic post , 2 games in the champions lge is not a hearty step from the championship, because thats all celtic have left .one more thing, we are still the BIGGEST club outside the prem , MOT

Joe cole is on 60k a week. Couldn't afford his wages even if he took a 50% pay cut.

He's on 85k a week at liverpool, not even worth half of that utter crap at prem level. Although he's flair would be too much to handle at champ level, get him on loan tillend of season for 20% of his wages {Ed001's Note - his wages include a significant amount for a signing bonus paid out over the length of his contract. Liverpool and Cole are currently negotiating a pay off to end that and so remove it from his wages. So his wages would be around the 70k mark, with that removed.}

We should bring in a new manager with a fresh approach and a creative style of play, which in turn means a total overhaul of players. We need a manager at the helm with a vision for the long term, so sorry warnock thats not you. No, No, No!Why Di Canio!? People only think he's any good because he is a character and then he should automatically become a great manager. Nothing to say that he won't be, but I think right now Leeds cannot afford to gamble, otherwise with the squad we have we will go down!
For me it would be Roberto D.M.. I think he is a quality manager and would do a great job with us.

However I do think that for the time being we should stick with Warnock. Give him time to get in any players he wishes. If in one or two windows we are still awful then look at a change, but he hasn't had a chance using any money from GFH.

Di Canio is a good shout, at least we would get some passion! or get Eddie Gray back in, bring some kids on at least we might see some pride in the shirt.

warnock needs to go hes had 40+ games at leeds and not even won 20 games in all competition . our team doesn't even resemble a team at the moment

Hang on I would rather have Warnock. To be fair I think hes doing the best he can with the players he has got. If he had more money he wouldnt be playing the players he does. Unfortunately too I dont think hes going to get much more either. I hope Im wrong on that.

Hope i am not disabled in my next life for saying that about Hoddle.

Personally, I'd have oleary back, did a fantastic job last time and was forced out of a job due to poor financial management of the club, (and the fact he was ploughin grays daughter) but given the right resources, a stable financial situation and a good amount of time to implement his ways we would be a solid prem team again, I don't know if we'd top the league as we did before but he could get us there and keep us there

That's quite possibly true, which could explain that inept performance at the KC.
Certainly the managers decision in tactics, formation and team selection were inept. What a pathetic performance, it was like premiership v conferance north. Lucky to get away with a 2 - 0 scoreline. If this is the management we are looking at in the future then I'm afraid the statement "in Warnock we trust" is most definately a thing of the past. New owners are not going to tolerate this, surely.

You dont tell other teams your loaded, warnock is very clever, he will sign a better calibre players in new year.

Being unable to compete with leicester isnt showing a lack of ambition...they can pay up to 40k a week which is ridiculous at this level. Being unable to match that isnt a problem

Not sure whether Norwich will sell, but he is a quality striker at Championship level

Warnock doesn't have radar. I can understand the confusion, though. Circling around with his arms outstretched as it all goes wrong does make him look a bit like a radar dish.
