How bizarre is Pardew's suggestion that he may keep Smudger to revert him back into a striker whilst Randy Andy Carroll's out?
How true is this? Does this mean the people on here saying Mr Smith is coming back to Leeds are nutcases (wouldn't be the first time!) or. .? What do you think ed? {ed's note - it will depend on signings, but Smith is ready to leave unless he gets first team football.}

I think I'm going to lose my marbles if he comes back. I am nervous that it'll go horribly wrong but at the same time I'm stupidly excited. Oh dear. Someone pass me a brandy. LOL
I wanted to hate him and I shoved all my photos, memorabilia etc in mum and dads attic but I just can't do it. I've met the guy loads of times at Elland Road. I can only speak for myself but he was always polite and very nice. It'll be tricky to see where he fits into the team but I'm sure he will be revitalised being back where he belongs
I'll never forget the horrible images of him in a Scum shirt but I'd like to see him get us up to the Prem :-)

I was invited to one of the leeds boxes against Boro and spoke to a couple of fans as well as some of the Leeds legends (can't remember their names as I'm a Boro fan!
Basically Alan Smith and Michael Johnson seem to be done deals for loans til the end of the season.
Gradel is going nowhere (sorry Newcastle fans)
Woodgate isn't a possibility due to Kisnorbo getting fitter and OB perm signing.
Hamill (Barnsley) and Best (Newc) are not of interest to the Leeds manager.
one of the Leeds legends said he's heard another rumour that Simon Grayson does want another GK and this could be the lad from Spurs I think. . .

Nunez and Faye to stay on as Grayson says that they've been superb in training but that because the team have been doing so well, they haven't been included in the final 18. At home to Cardiff Nunez looked amazing and Faye had a good game away to Middlesborough and is also an experienced Premier League player. I really hope Nunez gets into the first team squad because he really did look excellent

Sat with a old leeds legend after the boro game he says the club has planned for Lee Naylor from Cardiff and Fred Sear's to come and have medicals before Arsenal, Sears is for loans and Naylor is permanent after not being able to get McCartney back on loan.
