Don't know how anyone else feels but I just prefer them to be our players not loans. Could just be putting themselves in the shop window , no passion for the club

Totally agree Lancaster White. As I put in a previous post loan signings really haven't worked for us in the last few years (Wickham, Livermore, Townsend. ) with the exception of Bamba HOWEVER Barker is in the last year of his contract so if he is shipped out on loan he has to know his man city days are numbered. As a result he may give his all to prove his worth and maybe we can get him for a cut price development fee. That said I would still rather have a solid, proven player on a permanent.

Loaning Adryan worked well last season in that we had the option to buy and then realised he was not for us.

Loaning premier league young players helps club seriously challenge, chelsea and middlesborough last season where Karanka clearly had a hand from Mourinho but if Uwe has a little bit of love at Man City still why not take advantage.

So long as we sign a decent expeirnced midfielder i'd take a couple of loan players with a bit of pace.

dont mind loan siginings, they often have more to play for and can make a great impact. You could argue they have no love for club but then some perminant signings don't have that love either. Prefer none loan players but prefer loan players to nothing

I think it all depends on the mentality of the person you're signing. I don't mind 1 month loans that turn to longer because it gives you the option to send them back after you've seen them. But a full season loan for a player you know nothing about initially is always a fix. But in some places it works and others it doesn't.

I've always said the same, the leeds crowd are brilliant but you have to be a certain type of player to play in front of them. All we want to see is someone fighting for the cause. But sometimes it looks like we get on a players back and some players especially the big time premier loanees don't like it. It must be some kind of good mental experience though because how many loans have we had who were rubbish but went on to play in Prem each week and England lol . We'll that's my excuse anyway lol

Rosler wants Omar rowe, who has just left the Southampton youth academy, he is a powerful fast winger who can play on both sides and is left footed

Cellino seems to be looking to get players on loan from big clubs in England this season, such barker from man city. He is also keen on two left wingers: harry Wilson from Liverpool, and David henen from Everton, and right winger Duncan watmore from Sunderland. I think a left winger is vital as mowatt is our only left footed midfielder, but is too slow to be a winger, Walters is inexperienced and not good enough yet, if only we had a player like Aiden white who could play there

If only Aidey White could cross a ball then he'd still be at Elland Road. Not good enough before, not good enough now, never will be good enough. League 1, at best, standard.

Watch him send Rotherham up most assists in the league

Mushy have you forgotten Charlie Taylor!
Personally not sorry that Aidy "headless chicken" White has gone he had more than enough chances.
Rosler is talking up Ajose which would give us pace up front.
I am not too concerned about the constant clamour for wingers, width can come from the full back position equally well Cooper, Reaney, Frankie Gray,Dorigo, Sterland, Kelly, Harte etc etc and dare I say Byram and Taylor.
If it is to be the latter then a defensive centre mid would be top of my shopping list to cover them as they go forward.

You have footballers with brains and footballers with no brains. Aidy white falls into the latter & that my friends was his downfall. Being quick is not good enough without and end product and he had no end product 99% of the time.
