We signed 3 players last deadline day

IMO its the best transfer deadline day we seen in a while as we managed to keep the likes of Byram and McCormack. In previous years we would have had to find a quick and probably crap replacement striker/ right back. All in all we av a good squad. Granted a winger or 2 wouldn't go amiss but loan window opens on Monday. In McDermott we trust MOT! Donny white

chris baird, david bentley both still free agents {Ed013's Note - I believe that Baird is off to QPR and the Bentley rumour went away a while back}

I didn't mean to suggest we r linked with them its just an observation that there r some quality unattached players still out there

Wouldn't mind Bentley, not popular with other fans though

Bentley is garbage, don't be fooled by youtube vids and spurs bias tv montages, the guy is an expensive ego who's talent doesn't match up.
Baird is the better of the 2 in my opinion but he is 31-32 by the end of the season, and more of a colin signing, we don't need anymore ageing players, (what do you think ed am I close there) or not at all LOL.

i may be putting 2 and 2 together but as I understand it a number of posters have said that bmd has been in dublin these last few days and i'm reliably informed that shane long has just flown in to leeds from dublin.
I suppose he may be heading elsewhere in yorkshire but given his previous connections who knows

I've heard there will be no further transfers today. We will be dipping into the loan market when that opens in a weeks time but no more permanent signings will be made. This is due to some major investment coming into the club which due to a late problem has not been processed quick enough to make the money available for this window, but will be ready for the winter window. They don't want to make any 'cheap' deals in this window for a player when they will be able to afford a better player for that position in the winter.

Not that old chestnut. reminiscent of 12 months ago. inFACT no one knows do they. I would say role on 12 bells tonight so STUpid posts like these would cease but they won't though will they tho. we will see at 12 bells won't we or unless GFHC release a statement saying otherwise

Really in sure if investment was imminent then they would find the money from somewhere or make the other club wait a couple of weeks for the cash
