Austins red card appeal rejected. He will get 3 match ban. Leeds seem to be the only team who never get their cards overturned. Diouf to get two game ban

If he had committed a possible career ending over the top tackle in front of millions on tv he would have been ok. Wakey white {Ed003's Note - most appeals are overturned,especially out of the prem where lack of evidence/tv coverage is used by the panel of 'experts'.}

austin was attempting to get to the player with the ball but he defo intended on knocking that player to the ground on his way through simple yellow card not a red card.
silly rules, 10 yrs ago the player that went down would of got nothing

The other guy was looking for contact as well, to try and get back at Austin from that tackle before. He came off second best. Yellow for both.

Have to disagree with you, ED. All professional football games are filmed these days, whether by the major companies or through outsourcing to the smaller companies who send students along with cameras to the likes of Brentford. That appeals are looked on more favourably in the Premiership, I had always assumed to be due to the way the FA executive is structured, being made up of heavy representation from Premiership teams. {Ed001's Note - no, it is because they have access to multiple camera views of the same incident in the Prem. Outside of the Prem, it is usually just a couple of camera crews, at most, filming the match and that is all the evidence they have.}

Could be a blessing, in that we'll be starting next season without Austin on the pitch. We need a much better midfield next season, and Rudi is, I'm afraid, never going to help us gain promotion. Would probably be fantastic in League One, but this has looked a level too high for him for much of this season. Nice fella, wholehearted, but we do need to move on (same goes for the Norris and Tonge -these guys are never going to propel us into the Prem). Chapel A

Leeds are to ask of the availibilty of tottenham centre mid tom carrol, also bmd is intetested in bristols buldock, a loan move for suso of liverpool and nathan ake from chelsea. All would be very good signings as they are all yound and have big fututres ahead of them

Tom Carroll? No chance he's a fantastic talent but no chance they'll let him leave! Sam baldock? Not for me! Suso? Would have thought other PL teams would have been after him. Nathan Ake? I've watched him play and was impressed he reminds me of David luiz. But I think it would be a massive gamble not one I'd want to take yet

Sam Byram will go for 8 mill with 2 mill add ons in the future 6 mill will go to the squad

The fact that you don't even mention a club makes this BS, Byram wants to stay, BM wants him to stay, and we don't need to sell, so guess what, he's staying

In fairness, he didn't say whom to, or when. that deal would suit me if/when he's 32

Sam did well this year and fully deserved the awards, however he will be a marked man now so don't expect him to be as prominent this year
