We have ended our interest in Liam cooper now that our second bid has been rejected.

We have move on from Cooper after second bid was rejected.
On os, interest now ended, no further bids.
Coopers contract ends at the end of this coming season, then we can have him for nothing, that's the plan.

tom lees going to wednesday I really liked tom but feel in the last 2 seasons has not progressed if anything he's gone backwards

Not sure Lees going is a good move. I think he's better than Wootten so got to hope someone coming in but Liam Cooper from Chesterfield is no better, good prospect but as left footer playing with Pearce means one plays on "wrong" side. I know many teams have 2 right footed centre backs but just as Pearce getting back to decent form we ask him to play right of 2 (or middle of 3) and have to re-adjust his game. If Killock or even Jake Shelton are seen as good enough to step up they should have had more game time with Pearce. I still think Lees will be a good player at this level.
Look like it's all but done and dusted, Leeds have just put in second bid for cooper.
I personally feel he was good 2 yrs ago but last year cracked under pressure (like a lot of them) I think we should insert a sell on fee as he could go on to be very good away from the cauldron of ER which became very tense last season affecting many players.

According to the currant bun we are about to offer a contract for nigel reo Coker who is currently with Vancouver White Caps after leaving villa. He's 30 now and is he what we're looking for? Good experience or just another that never fulfilled there true potential.
