Pablo Hernandez (ex Swansea) rumoured to be signing next. I hope so, he would be that creative midfielder we are lacking.

I find this unbelievable.
If we do pull this one off though he could be very much the difference in this league though I hope your rumour it true but I cont see it if I'm honest. I hope I have to eat these words I'm typing but I can't see it.

He's 31 definitely not who we need. That will be him at 31 and perico at 32 n none of them have ever done a lot for any team they have played 4. I understand we need some experience but perico looks awful and Hernandez has a bad record for a winger.

Swadlad, 31 is not old and we have enough kids, we need some experience. I wouldn't say 15 assists in 57 PL games is a bad record for a winger. Easily he'd be one of the best players in the league. Did you watch the game yesterday? We need more creativity if we want top 6.

Yes I did watch the game and yes we need more creativity but that is not 31 year old Hernandez. Have you seen his record for his recent clubs? He's poor. Should have brought limbombe who is much younger n creates more for the team. 31 is old in football. Your get 1 or 2 years at best from him at that age. Imo it's a terrible short term panic buy n looking at his recent record he won't do a thing for the team.

I would have liked Limbombe too, but Hernandez is not terrible at all and he was in La Liga last year, which is miles better than the Champ. He's one year older than Abdi who went to the Wendies for £4m. How is it a panic buy? He would be quality. Name 5 better AMs in the Championship.

No I mean terrible as in we will have him for 1 or 2 years n I'm guessing he will cost abit aswell. I just don't like the fact we are buying old players like Hernandez and looks like perico who for me have never done great at any club they have been at. I'd rather take a risk with limbombe n yes I accept it would be a risk but he's much younger n has more about him imo than Hernandez. Perico was shocking in the game he just played for us and that looks like a certain buy -_- I don't know it just gets annoying year after year watching players join for there last pay check. Would have been better if leeds were abit more ambitious imo. That emre huws looks decent so hopefully we get him in midfield n then another decent cb for the first team n another winger who scores goals. Need another cdm aswell. I'm expecting 4 new players n we will probably get 2 lol.

Seems that someone is very well informed! Not sure what I think of this one though, it could be a master stroke he has genuine quality but can he hack the championships more rough n ready style. Fingers crossed as he could be immense for us over the next few years and a real signal of intent.

I remember him having that half decent season for Swansea.
It's a good signing if it works, I don't mind it either way.
What I don't get is why people get hung up on age? If the players good enough it don't matter on age.
This obsession over the past 10 years that players over 25 are past their best in unbelievable to me, we all want young players and then berate them when they aren't progressing or making mistakes and then harp on about where the experience in the team is.

Age doesn't mean anything tbh. Hoolahan is 34 and he's one of the best in the league. We've got a lot of young players and need a couple of finished articles. We've only got 5 players older than me and I'm 26, so we need a couple more older heads.

Well imo 30 n older is a little to old in football. Pablo Hernandez if he's the finished article then we should stay well away based on his record. I prefer letting botaka have a decent chance before we loan him out which is laughable when he's probably one of our best wingers.

Ya just like Ronaldo is too old, Real Madrid should get rid of him and since he's 31 no team should buy him for more than 25m. If the players are good at age 30 or 16 play them it doesn't matter, I'd much rather Pablo Hernandez than no one so stop complaining and wait till he plays.
