Good player when he was younger but couldn't help villa stay up n was guilty of a lot of mistakes. And then to say it was a relief to get relegated says he's not really botherd about helping teams he plays for, I'd stay clear of him imo sounds like he's got a bad attitude n people moan about sol Bamba making mistakes but atleast Bamba gives 100% n doesn't say rubbish like lescott.

Can't believe people are calling Lescott shot. The guy was transferred for £23.5 squill not that many moons ago! Villa were very poor last season and accumulated the worst points tally ever in the history of shit stats. This isn't all the fault of one man. Blame it on the sunshine, the boogy, or anything else but do t blame it on the Lescott. Doubt this will happen but think he could play in his carpet slippers in this league and take the p*ss. If only this were true.

I think this rumour has some legs to it. He knows he's no longer liked or wanted by Villa and the Championship at his age and performance last season probably is his level. He'd comfortably deal with virtually all strikers in this league. He will therefore need to trim his wage demands. The alternative for him is stay at Villa but I think he needs a fresh challenge.

He may be on a free transfer, but his wages will be ridiculous. Can't see it happening and not really that bothered. If he ain't good enough for Villa, then he's not good enough for us. They've got cash so can still afford him, but probably down to on and off the field cock ups they see him as a liability. Thanks, but no thanks for me.
