Sheff u midfielder kevin macdonald as askd 4 talks with there manager because of interest from leeds and 1 other champ club, possibly wensday or wigan.

Believable15 Unbelievable49

There is no interest in mcdonald from leeds, where you get this sort of talk from is anyones guess but its not true.

Agree3 Disagree1

From a blade at work who's heard it from 4 different sources

Agree2 Disagree0

I reckon us Leeds fans have 2 b realistic. This mcdonald bloke is the kind of players well b signing. Some of us reckon he's not good enough because he's comin from leage 1, but he's comin from the top of it. Were all caught up in fantasies of getting a bargain from the prem, but it won't happen. Noel hunt is our big signing for the season, the rest won't b big as him. The rest will have to be players like mcdonald. I reckon he'd b a good buy, and he's in our price bracket and won't want too much wages

Agree1 Disagree1

Strange I thought the big signing was Murphy

Agree0 Disagree0

Well hunt is the first player we've spent a million on since 2005

Agree0 Disagree6

No I have no problem getting young players from league 1 but mcdonald is no good at any level never mind the championship

Agree2 Disagree1

We spent a million on murphy

Agree2 Disagree0

LOL hunt for 1 million wow that would have been bad business

Agree1 Disagree1

We are overloaded with midfielders so why sign more?

Free Agent Stephen Hunt to sign within the next week.

Believable39 Unbelievable59

Hop e not, we've signed one of them which is bad enough

Y don't you stop moaning and have faith in the managers judgement and wait to see what happens first and give him a chance

Agree6 Disagree4

I agree with the second reply. To many football experts that know what's best and to quick to criticize what is a very difficult balancing act.

Agree3 Disagree3

Cus we are all different, some like him some don't simple as that. why would you post that thinking anyone would change there mind on your say lol

Agree4 Disagree1

Because Noel Hunt is awful, both Becchio and Morrison were better. Plus we've given the clown the number 10 shirt

Agree4 Disagree3

Comment 5. if you believe that Steve Morison is better than Noel Hunt on his performances in a Leeds shirt, you are seriously deluded. and they've given him the number 10 shirt, must be because he's Irish like that true legend Johnny Giles.

JDC

Agree4 Disagree4

Sorry but what have Becchio and Morrison done to say they are better than Noel Hunt? He's played a massive part in winning the championship before, what have the other two done?
To say he's awful is a ridiculous statement.

Agree5 Disagree2

Give hunt a chance lads?! I reckon he'll work his socks off for the fans! Too much negativity on rumour sites even if they're not true still need to get behind every player that is connected with leeds!

Agree8 Disagree1

39 goals in 5 years! Becchio managed 20 in 4 months. He's 30 so he's not going to get any better.

Agree4 Disagree2

Pretty sure Hunts scored premiership goals

. has becchio?

Agree2 Disagree2

Dont get wound up by posters on here who post shallow negative opinion on new signings like Noel - they are either; 1. not LUFC fans winding you up. OR 2. Playstation teenagers who know ZERO about real football or how to SUPPORT and Encourage our team and players; Macca

Agree0 Disagree2

imagine how many goals becchio might have scored if he had stopped rolling around the pitch for half the match.
Also noel hunt will surprise a lot of people with his desire to be a winner which has always been the hallmark of all the great leeds teams. Remember there is no
I in TEAM.

Agree3 Disagree1

Noel Hunt isn't awful.

He isn't a goalscorer, he is more of a grafter kind of striker and maty chip in with the odd couple.

Some people need to chill out

Agree1 Disagree1

Possibly hunt isn't going to be the 30 goal a season? maybe BmD is lining up a move for someone? maybe matt smith will have his chance? but hunt will do a lot of work for the team! people need to stop criticising players and get behind the mighty whites

Agree2 Disagree1

Fellow leeds fans please have faith. Brian might have brought in hunt for other reasons other than scoring goals. Beside hunt was part of the the reading promotion winning team. But for gods sake get behind the team, manager and the new board. I was buzzing with the signing of murphy the biggest fee we have paid in the last 3 seasons in a whole. Everyone knows what MOT means and for those who don't its marching on together. So let's do it!

Agree2 Disagree1

Just a question how many goals Noel hunt get last season in PL. how many Becchio get in the same division??? Says it all really. Stephen hunt did he not help reading win promotion under coppell

Agree2 Disagree0

Well varney scored less goals at pompy for same time period and see he has scored a few for us at important times so just wait and see before passing judgement and yes what's with all the negative feelings going on we haven't even started yet.

Agree0 Disagree1

I worry that people commenting on Becchio have actually ever seen him play. Heading ability and goals from 5 yards YES. Everything else he was completely shocking an did nothing. Give Hunt a chance an have faith in BM all you sofa football managers

Agree2 Disagree0

Thank God the majority of these responses are positive. I particularly like the playstation remark. Possibly says it all.

Agree1 Disagree1

I reckon hunt will be like Andy Keogh. Poor record himself but great for the team which often goes unnoticed

Agree2 Disagree0

I agree with the andy Keogh post, I think hell work hard and assist goals but hardly score. hell be a good signing give him a chance!. MOT!

Agree2 Disagree0

Lol no getting away from the fact hunt is a st and he hardly ever scores, people who compare him to becchio r dumb as becchio hasn't even been at norwich all season like hunt has with reading so there is your answer to why hunt has a slight better rec than becchio in prem. hunt will add nothing but a few assists.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ye it makes sense to say that a man who has been capped by his country in the striker role is terrible. The man hasn't even played a game for us and he is being slated. Some 'fans' really get under my skin. Give the lad a chance to prove himself!
BC

Agree0 Disagree0

And a goal for Noel hunt, albeit against Farsley, but it's a goal on his debut within minutes of starting the second half.

Believable12 Unbelievable98

Not this one again, its been done to death, get over it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Will he be a direct replacement if Byram is sold?

Agree0 Disagree0

He doesn't play for Atletico Madrid any more, does he?!

currently without a club, but training with Birmingham's Development squad

Matt Mills coming for a undisclosed fee next week, with a huge possability of Jason Pearce going the other way.

Believable69 Unbelievable52

Hopefully this is true, even though he is still pretty young I don't rate Jason Pearce at all, not good enough for a team that 'SHOULD' be challenging for promotion in my opinion.

We seem to be taking steps in the right direction though for the first time in a long time, Keep it up Brian!

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes this is true but jason pearce not going the other way it is El Hadji Diouf for Mills - FACT

Brian McD is looking at ex Fulham player Chris Baird who was released the other day

Isn't he a left back? Given we have 4 on our books, and need to shift two already, I'd doubt this link.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think he is mainly a right back but has been used anywhere across the defence and midfield. This would be a decent signing in my opinion.
