I live next door to NW and whilst walking the dogs, i got talking to him. He told me he is looking to sign a RW and FWD! He spoke to CM-S yesterday and says he would love to join, wouldn't expand. Unless any offers come in for McCormack before Thursday then he will be offered a better contract and will be staying aswell as CM-S He said the RW position will be filled tomorrow or wednesday! He let slip that Boyd was one of the 'PLAYERS' that he had been in contact with, suggesting that there are more than 1. I asked him about Lewis Mcgugan (think he would be a good signing), and he said we have made an offer, apparently Forest are mulling it over, but was very positive. He wouldn't comment on Crainie, but did however say we will buy a better CB next week after takeover, and if it fails Crainie will be signed! Finally, The TAKEOVER, he said that it would be finalised fully by Thursday and they will announce it on Friday morning sharpish, so that we can crack on and buy a promotion worthy squad! Dave

NW wont sign Cranie as takeover will soon be completed and he can have a better CB.

And who said that NW ? nobody knows when takeover will/if happen and if it will be complete before the transfer window. we now have the starting team and Cranie was only going to be a squad player so if we dont sign him we can easliy get somebody like him at very short notice, and save a few quid by not paying wages

Noticed an comment further down, a fan that lives in Hampshire that wants to go to every game, well I have the same or similar problem, I want to get to every leeds Home game next season but live in Birmingham and currently do not drive, does anyone come up past me to go, happy to contribute towards petrol costs of course.

Don't shoot the messenger but leeds in talks over boyd and taylor. My brother lives in pompey but die hard leeds fan and thats whats been mooted about, down that end of the woods. Lets hope atleast one of them is true. Ether one would fill one of the slots.

Personally I think the takeover is done and will be announced once the squad is complete do we don't pay over the odds. If we could get both I'd be happy. Templeton would be a good signing if neither came through, but warnocks already talked him down. Hammil would fill snods boots, but again Dnt think it will happen. Really is anyone's guess as to who the two icing on the cake signings will be!
