Robbie Gotts and Callum Nicell promoted to first team training. Good move by Bielsa.

Robbie was a good bet, great little player, real battler, full of energy. Not the tallest but goes like the Duracell bunny!

Callum, is a more interesting move. When you go to the under 23d and watch and listen, you can pick up a fair idea of who is on the up and who isn’t quite impressing. Callum is definitely in the former group and as such has leapfrogged a few others . Although midfield, he has been used across the back, so is another versatile pick.

These moves are the flip sides of the bad injury news, opportunities for lads to shine and prosper. If you were a young kid and Leeds wanted you, it’s these kind of moves that make the club an attractive prospect.

Both Chelsea and city after Clarke.
$30 mill plus 5 yr loan would do me.
I'm hoping Clarke won't let it effect his form.

Hopefully will make him want to impress even more. This is why it is so important for the club to win promotion or come close to it. So we can offer the Byrams, Cooks, Taylor’s and Clarke’s of this world another realistic option, playing in the premiership with us, instead of a lowly ranked premiership club or lost in Cities third reserves!

Clarke is unlikely to stay to play 5 years championship or league one football, but he could be part of a developing Leeds premiership team.

He's already told 'em to do one, now he's getting some first team game time I don't see why he'd change his mind.

If Clarke goes its because the club are happy to sell him. Lads happy where he is, maybe different in summer if we do not go up.

Bubba wi put a fatherly arm around him and keep his feet planted where they belong. Don't underestimate the respect the players have for bielsa, s advise.

Well done Pablo, PFA fans championship player of the month. For me an exceptional ambassador for the club as a person and professional. Like Bielsa, doesn't forget his roots. A part owner of Castellon, Spanish second division club, who he wants to help again when he finishes his Leeds career. He trains with them when he goes back to Spain on holiday! Pure class. Some of his touches are my stand out memories so far this year, the never gave up run and cross against derby, the lovely glancing headed goals and of course, the not as easy as it looked, finish from Young Clarke. First name on the team sheet for me and one who we really don't want injured again!

I often look at the reports of Leeds eyeing up possible transfers who are 30+ years old and say to myself "No! No! No! ". Then I watch Pablo and think "What do I know?
Form is temporary but class is permanent. Hernandez may be displaying the former but it is the latter that shines through week after week.

Bielsa is the key with regard to who and how many players we manage to get hold of in Jan. I really don't believe that he will be a manager to put up with players he doesn't want or think he needs. And he'll be strong enough to ask for what he wants.

His planning is based on up to 4 key injuries at a time. He has now had a chance to see whether that is realistic in this league or not.

Furthermore he has had the chance to look at and assess the players in the under 23s at first hand.

The amount of injuries we are having is testing out the strength in depth and giving Bielsa a real reality check before the market opens again. He will know that if he finishes Jan saying that he is happy with the playing squad and the recruits, then it will be clear where the responsibility lies.

Don't give up yet guys, it's not how many injuries that we have that is important, it's the effect it has on performance and results. We can't do anything until Jan, so how we do in the remaining games this year, will show the way ahead. In a way, the sheer amount of injuries might be a blessing in disguise of sorts because it focuses attention on the issue of squad depth.

We're still in the top two, let's see where we are by New Year!
