Well I have been told if we lose are next game it's good bye Brian in all honesty I don't think he is doing right well all signings he as done are poor

Believable56 Unbelievable159

I don't think so but it could very well happen most managers go for a lot less tbf

Agree7 Disagree6

Not going to happen. Results good or bad we need stability. It will come good. eventually.

Agree5 Disagree6

Brian won't be sacked by gfh as they know its a work in progress redeveloping the squad and the club as a whole.
He is being backed gradually in the transfer & loan market but he won't get in players of lesser quality than we already have, and I can't blame him but he does need to get improvement in asap or the fans will start to get on his back and that could push him out.

Agree4 Disagree2

Well have you really? You've been told that Brian will be sacked if he lose to Brum.

You must be quite close to David Haigh or Salah Noorudin. Tell us all a lot more about these secrets of the business then. Who's investing in us? Who's coming in on loan? What's targets are set for Jan? How much money do we have to spend?

As Karl Pilkington said - "rubbish". Someone talks nonsense and in comes rubbish Man

Crmd {Ed013's Note - It would be too expensive to sack him and he needs time to make Leeds his own team. At the minute he is working with what he has, in a year or 2 he will have gotten rid of all the long contract fringe players}

Agree6 Disagree2

He's a top manager working with Warnocks botch job from last year. Keep the faith and judge him after he's spent some real money in the transfer window.

Agree7 Disagree3

Tbf he has spent £2m in transfers on Murphy and Wootton and neither look too promising atm. Everyone could see we lacked quality up front and yet he loaned out the proven Morison and got Smith and Hunt who are not good enough. Same old problems and he hasn't improved anything imho. Sticks by certain ones and gives other more deserving players no chance, mowatt has been the one good thing.

A couple of pints in me and feeling always feel crap when lufc lose but really? Patience? Work in progress? A couple more years?

Agree6 Disagree1

he's on a 3-year deal we can't even afford a loan player never mind a pay off his contract for 3-years

Agree2 Disagree0

Now I know what happened to the Sacked Headline Writer from the News of the World! - What next? Rio Ferninand to chair Question time on BBC?

Agree0 Disagree1

Anyone whos saying get rid of him is an person and is exactly what is wrong with leeds united.

Agree6 Disagree1

What a load of old tosh are you really saying we haven't made progress under BMD compared to Warnock. The only thing missing is the creative flair in the final third. We pass and move and hold the ball far better than we have for a number of years. The balance of the team is starting to take shape and at Reading he didn't have superstars to work with, lost 10 games on the bounce before they started the run the took them from 16th to automatic promotion. I for one think he is the best manager we have in a long time and I feel sure he can take us forward.

I have to pick up the proven morison comment above, he is and has been garbage for years, go look at his stats, we where mugged for becchio in that deal, in my opinion.
cant fault becc, s for wanting prem football but to think morison was a good bit of business is a joke, again I said it when I saw the deal + I said from the 1st day warnock will fail he is a dinosaur in football terms and I was proved right.
Mcd will take us up next season maybe this one if the team can click up front.
Stay positive fellow Whites we are on the brink of something great.

The fact is this time last year we hand more points. had beaten Everton, then going on to beat Spurs. At the same time a large section of Leeds fans gave Warnock abuse (time to go etc.) Both Warnock and BMD are not to blame. It's simple in my view the GFH lot who bought the club really have no money to invest in new players. No matter who becomes manager the result will be the same. According to GFH they expect Leeds fans to pay in full to go watch this (work in progress) their so called "Two Year Plan". We've been in the wilderness for over 10 years with no sign of the promised land. To sum up. while fans keep going to watch nothing will change.

Agree1 Disagree0

Been reading many comments over the weekend and i'd have to agree with those who don't want to see BMD sacked. The more bright ones amongst us can clearly see that a lack of investment and support for Brian over the summer is what's costing us currently. i'm still behind Brian. c'mon lad!

Agree3 Disagree2

GFH are at fault - We need a large & significant amount of money, if we are to make an assault on the top 6. Leicester have proved that this league is still a hard league to get out of, even with lots & lots of money, they are still losing against lower league opposition ie Doncaster. We need investment now, just to keep in touch with the top 6, we'll need even more now to finish in the top 6. Plus current squad need to step up to the mark and make a difference on the pitch - there's a few players who are not stepping up, who could make a difference to LUFC.

Agree2 Disagree0

I trust the man - look what he did at reading - ten games into the season they were in the bottom half and the table and sruggling relegation battle looking likely. ended up winning the league after a strong run - you can see the skeleton of the team is looking good just need fleshing out in creative areas such as on the wings and going forward. believe this will come in january. if it doesn't then we panic~!

Agree4 Disagree0

Noticed on the yep that more and more are beginning to see that McCormack is far to overated, needs dropping to the bench. Really should of cashed in on him whilst the offers were on the table. Ok he's playing out of position ( apart from saturday), and people will say who have we got any better. Well drop him and give someone else the chances that he's had and we may find out.far to overated.

Sam.

Agree1 Disagree1

Will you people think rationally about this for just one minute?
Ed has already restated what I've said for a few months. GFH will NOT bankroll 7-8 more players if we have no intention of using the ones we already have. That would be money for nowt. If they did that and had the likes of Danny Pugh et all just sitting around earning good money en masse, they wouldn't be the owners I am so quick to praise.
WE ARE STUCK WITH THIS SQUAD UNTIL NEXT SUMMER. Nobody wants them. Let them all leave on a free but paying them out of their contracts would be money better spent on quality players.
We have a squad that could make the playoffs (albeit by the skin of their teeth) but, no more than that.
NEXT season it'll be better

Agree3 Disagree1

I'm sorry but the way things are going the only play off's we'll be in next season are the play off's in league one, you can like BMcD all you want but he's no better than Warnock, team full of dead wood that we can't off load & a doom & gloom manager who talks a good game, the league table does not lie SORRY.

Why do people say sorry in posts? do they think they are giving some ground breaking information that nobody else has thought of? or do they think they are in the know and this is FACT. The truth in my isolated opinion is that Brian is streets ahead of Warnock and he will rightly be given the time to rebuild.

Agree0 Disagree1

And do what with all the deadwood? Brown, Peltier, Tonge, Hunt, White, Lees, Pearce, Diouf, Drury, Norris, Pugh.

Agree1 Disagree0

To the third from bottom reply, yes we are playing with a lot of deadwood but not Brians, we still have over half a squad of the crap Warnock brought in who are on good money and still have a season to run on their contracts, once they have been run down, we can replace them with younger more promising players. So don't post when you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

Agree0 Disagree1

What like HUNT? what a young great signing he was & Murphy &Smith yes they are young, but we are talking LEEDS UNITED here, we want big names, not minnows from lower divisions, we are becoming a laughing stock, sorry have become a laughing stock, thanks to second rate Managers like Warnock & McDermot, its embarrassing.
