Also heard from a very good contact that Leeds have been laughed out of the talks with even lower league club players because of the wages Bates is willing to pay and its not going down well with Grayson.And even if they sell Snodgrass Grayson is not going to see much of it.

Heard a lot of feedback last summer that Leeds were winning few friends with players or their agents: they'd meet up and offer offensively low wages then refuse to negotiate.
Net result was that the players went elsewhere (or stayed with their clubs) and Leeds were seen as arrogant time wasters.
Yet the view from the club still seems to be that they can offer peanuts and that players will accept that because more fans will watch them at ER.

There are rumours circulating around Reading that they are enquiring about taking Davide Somma on loan.
Not sure how long for, but there seems to be a bit of fact in it.
I sadly work for them at the training ground in Finch Hampstead and some of the officials kept mentioning his name. . . .could give him some good exp to come back to us with though

lets not send him out on loan to a team in the same league? hes a great impact player and we need him next season as sadly i crnt see bates puttin his hand in his pocket for transfers or changing the wage structure! we are missing out on quality players that would love to come to leeds because he won't put his hand in his pocket!
