Byram will either become a main stay at ER or Cellino will accept a huge offer, in excess of £6M for him, recoup big money and spend very little. You only get what you pay for in this game and there are no short cuts to success

If Ross is worth £11mill age and potential considered Sam is worth £22mill ;)

I love Sam, but tbh a move is probably the right time for him. And it looks like he wants to go . It's saying we will sell him for 10 mill, seems a good deal for him and us

Not kept any of his promises! The ground is on its way. We now have a lot more players that actually want to be here. A new striker will be here by end of August. I will admit so far we haven't signed a core of british players but I am glad. This level of british player is generally average at best. The imports are technically better and I think have a better work ethic so bring em on I say.

Sorry andy I like your posts and you talk sense but it is not doom and gloom it is fact or will be fact we are poor and will struggle this year thank god for blackpool and rotherham as they should finish below us. I think we could go down from what I saw today and i'd sell byram for 2mill from what I saw today neat touches but didn't want to play for the shirt and didn't seem to care. love leeds whatever but if we finish 20th we will be lucky. Hockaday out his team today had no clue and where hopeless in every way possible. I agree we are poor and if you look back I ALWAYS said we will finish in the bottom half this season mate. People moaning we are not signing qaulity players are right BUT we wasted enough money over the last 15yrs on these so called players.
MCs had 12 weeks to pay off debt and rid the club of dead wood who were taking a VERY good wage and giving nothing back.
You can't rebuild a team in 12 weeks mate, give him 12months and then let's vent our anger and MOAN!

Why has he said he has £15million put aside for transfers before the sale of Ross MC? He must of spent £400,000 altogether? Don't get him? Hockaday is clueless full stop MC buys the players picks the players, why has he got rid of so much dead wood and keeps playing Hunt the man is one of the worst players to ever pull on the famous white shirt. MC needs to stop playing football manager with us and stop being so arrogant and pay the going rate for the likes of vivanni, Erikson etc who by all accounts are very talented footballers. It doesn't need major work just tweeking, wooton & war nock should never play for LUFC again, either give the kids a chance or sell them!

Here's a novel idea, let's support the new owner and coach, not throw them to the wolves after one game ffs, windows not closed yet, better to take all the time available and get the right players in than panic buying .

Sorenson deal in the air allegedly due to Juve wantin a further £/E100k upfront, not the player or agent making further demands, salerno to hopefully sort it this morning. player appears to be more than keen to join. not sure about billy sharp though boys and girls, he is most deff not a leeds fan thoughts please

Sharp is another of the mediocre 'travelling journeymen' we've been plagued with and forced to accept in recent years through lack of financial resources. He has shown he is no fan of Leeds, and will always be viewed as a hypocrite if he gets a contract out of MC. He's past his sell-by date, would be a backward not forward step and should be avoided IMO. Bring on the youngsters. MOT Forza Leeds!

Reading reports that Southampton are going to let Sharp go on a free transfer, Should definitely go for him!

I for one would welcome Billy Sharp - he is a gifted goalscorer at this level and if the rumours about Soton giving him a free to get rid are true then that just about puts him in our price range.

MC now saying he is still confident of getting Sorensen. Want's to make his mind up. Last time he spoke about it, it was a done deal. I wish he'd just keep quiet until paperwork is signed (AND NOT WITH INVISIBLE INK!)

Look at forests free signing yesterday, a player we've been linked with on numerous occasions, chris Burke, scored a blinder and was a general menace. So why not give sharp a go
