I heard that the Clipper group (transport company) will buy Leeds in 3 weeks time! GFH have no money and have to pay bates £15million in April

Believable24 Unbelievable100

I know for a fact that Saleem Patel has been trying to sell shares in LUFC, does not bode well for the club or fans

Agree4 Disagree1

I thaught final payment was in december

Agree1 Disagree1

What a load of Tosh Clippers net worth is minus - 8million! They made 47 Million last year Gross and their liabilities are 63 million their cash reserve is 155 k so what are they supposed to buy it with? quite clearly a made up rumour based on the nearest big Company to ER! I smell BS**T

Boyd is at Thorpe arch having a medical tv

Agree0 Disagree4

Just seen Boyd at Thorpe Arch, DFS in Wetherby buying a new Leather Sofa, May be we can get both Boyd & the Leather Sofa on a 4 years interest free credit with nothing to pay for the first year.

FFS or do I mean DFS

FML – MOT

Love Leeds

Agree2 Disagree0

Humm, you sure it was Boyd or was it an optical illusion?

Agree2 Disagree0

First instalment was in December. They are due to pay another £15m by end of March but they are struggling to find funding. If they can't find new buyers in nexxt few weeks the club will revert to Bates

Agree1 Disagree3

No it was 3 instalments on 2nd instalment haigh joined the board on on final payment patel and alreys joined

Agree1 Disagree0

GFH publicly stated when they took over that they were now looking for investment to take the club forward, which is exactly what all Investment Banks do, to share the risk and provide cash for growth! They will now look for a portfolio of other investors and spend in teh summer!

Stop scaremongering and making up garbage!

I've had business dealings with the clipper group about 12 months ago. At that time I was told that the owner is a long time leeds fine and a self made wealthy man who at one stage was considering buying Lufc but it sounded like a bit of a whim - when I asked why he hadn't I was told he had a fall out with Bates who was trying to get him to invest and he'd found some "new toys" to play with. You never know though it might not be compkletely out of the question - just because one of someones business interests isn't performing great at the moment doesn't mean that they are not personally still very wealthy

Agree1 Disagree0

They don't owe any money for lufc at the press confrence they stated they had bought leeds debt free

Agree1 Disagree0

Gfh capital are just the new faces of leeds they have backing from a bahrain royal family member if all other clubs new this don't you think players transfer fee would rocket david haigh and s petal work for an investment bank in the middle east where they invest some of the richest mens money in the world iam sure they no quite a few people who want to invest in lufc

Agree2 Disagree0

bates would not of signed anything without his money, get a grip people. gfh said they would not spend crazy money. THE MONEY FROM SNOODY AND SALES BEFORE ARE IN BATES POCKET NOT GFH'S. GIVE THEM A CHANCE MATE

Agree2 Disagree0

What nonsense!
You need a 'clipper' round the ears!

Sassy

Agree0 Disagree1

Ive heard its adam pearson, premier taxis and property portfolio the newdall
brothers, and clipper logistics will be the new owners of the club in the summer, I work at premier that's all I can say, but these guys are the real deal

Agree0 Disagree0

In my honest opinion I believe gfh have written this season off and were never prepared to take the gamble teams like leicster and watford have when the financial fair play comes in next season and they fail to get promotion they will have to rip apart there squads to fit in with the rules where as we will start a fresh and due to fan base and the size of the Leeds brand we will have a better chance of competing with main promotion chasers!. I for 1 am confident gfh will do good by the club the last thing we need is another risdale!. my favourite quote is slow and steady wins the race!!. normy white!

Agree1 Disagree0

God if I hears bahrain royal family once more ok I admit if they was backing ghfc and didn't want it getting out that they was back rolling leeds and didn't want transfers to inflate the fact is that we didn't sopent any cash on a transfer fee apart from 200k tongue and 150 got hall neither wich are featuring for leeds in forst team also we have paid a loan fee for habibou another player who needs time in development squad the fact is we no0t spending on transfer fees couldn't compete for woods at leicster 750k is too much warnock said as much leeds can't spend that much on 1 playerso fact is we are niot got any dealing with the arab royal family that why we still after investers that's what the whole peterborough and blackpool games are about we have potential investers attending and we hoping to bump the attendances hoping to make leeds look more attractive

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes premier taxis in leeds keep being mentioned maybe it would help if a leeds business was involved

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet all those that thought GFH were our saviours and filfthy rich are crying in their beer. Just hope we get some new investment owners quickly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Could be some truth to this rumour just been on BBC1 news 18. 20 that a consortium is indeed after buying Leeds from GFH

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it will have something to do with premier taxis they also have a huge property portfollio and their family have been lufc supporters for 80 years or so, but it won't be them by themselves hope its true

On Cambridge radio this morning apparently Darren Ferguson is unsure of whether Boyd will still be at Peterborough tomorrow for their game against Leicester.

I'm not speculating where he is going but just passing on the news report.

Believable30 Unbelievable14

We can only hope Warnock as the vision to go for him but smoething tells me he as not

Agree2 Disagree0

Didnt warnock say after the window closed that boyd was never on his radar

Agree1 Disagree0

Wouldn't be too unhappy to get him on loan till end of season only?

Agree1 Disagree0

Last seen on Fullerton park carrying a football

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair comment keep em comming

Agree0 Disagree0

The chances of us getting him are 20-20

Agree0 Disagree1

Seems a bit of a short-sighted move to me, what we need is long term vision. Mind you he would be a good Bates signing he could peer into the murky dealings of old father time and tell us everything was squeaky clean.
