I live in the USA and have been a Leeds United supporter since 1969. I lived in Yorkshire from 1969 to 2009. I love the team and have to give credit to the present Chairman for keeping our team solvent. Looking back if he had not stepped up to disolve our debts I suspect we would not be talking about Leeds United now. I think the best policy would be to just wait to see what happens with a possible takeover/investment. NDA is a fact of business life. Lets just try to keep calm and let the process take it's course. There is nothing anyone can do about it and reading the comments on this website the fans seem to be turning on eachother. I think things will work out for the best. If not well we will have to deal with it. I know if I had the money I would have bought the team and hired people who had the best interests of the football club at heart. Lets not forget that the club has and is still walking on a financial tightrope. Take care all.

Believable34 Unbelievable15

Very sound view. I too live in USA. About 20 minutes from Washington dc and I think patience may be key. But as an avid supporter patience is running thn. Especially with the way things have gone the last few pre seasons. The silence at the club is deafening but actually may be a good sign. I'm just waiting for the official statement on the clubs website

Agree0 Disagree0

You clearly have no understanding of what bates has dome. If we had gone into administration originally As should have happened then we would never have had to suffer this prolonged agony under that piece of scum. Bates is a chancer, he bought the club before it went into admin (he new he wouldn't be able to get his hands in it if it had gone into admin) and then spent two years pulling strokes and weaving his tangled web (illegally in my opinion) before finally allowing the club to go into admin in the knowledge that he had it set up to come out in control of the club. Just to make the
Point that Bates is not the great business man that some idiots think he is, we have only posted a profit once since admin if player reading is ignored (i.e we would have made a loss if he hadn't sold players).
Bates is scum and so are his supporters and excuse makers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whether something is illegal or not is not a matter of opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not a Bates fan ....but. Without him we may well not be here at all. I find a lot of the Bates out brigade to be like the guys in the Life of Brian film saying what have the Romans ever done for us. I agree with the post, sit tight and give it a week or so. Remain positive. He may not be your cup of tea, you may hate his guts but there are some good foundations in place now for when we do kick on. I would prefer if he left but I have a reasoned point of veiw and dont wish him ill at all. I just think a fresh input is needed now. Just my thoughts

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, he put money up to buy Leeds, was this for Leeds benefit or his own? What about the outrageous deal of only selling the club to Bates after admin, clearly a dodgy deal manipulated by Bates to cash cow for a few years knowing how passionate the fans are and how we would support our club financially.

There are greedy people in all areas of business but some also have manners and are pleasant human beings unlike this despicable creature.

So don't ask us to be grateful for what he has done

{Ed013's Note - Just for your information, I have blocked 2 people from this site tonight. I will not tolerate comments on Munich, I don't care what you think of our Rivals, opinions like that get kept to yourself. Also the person that just offered someone a rope to hang himself. regarding the Lust announcement several players ?? = only means those who are on the transfer list Clayton etc or those who haven't got the deal they want - this is poor tactics to play this hand now ? and Lust should be careful - 4 players do NOT represent a TEAM - sh*it stirring I call it ..Patience as the new regime takes over

Believable15 Unbelievable10

Well said mate...If those players are so passionate about getting us into the Prem what the f***k happened last season

Agree0 Disagree0

If they are so passionate why did not they not sign new deals? They are greedy. Tom lees Leeds by example that aidy white should follow. Tom lees knows Hess not the beat defender but knows he can improve and develop his game. He's better off playing regular for Leeds than sitting on the bench or reserves of a premier league club. Like warnock said to aidy, the grass isn't always greener. Tom recognizes this and is 100% committed to Leeds. Wish the rest of the lot were

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2012 20:38:45
Dont go hating, its just what iv heard
Apparently Warnocks had a huge arguement with Harvey and is refusing to answer any calls from leeds.
Also there is a huge player mutiny going on due to the lack of investment.
Snodgrass is apparently off to Everton,
and worst of all the deal with the Chicago people fell through due to bates wanting too much for the club.
I personally expect Warnock to resign pretty soonish and a player exodus if things are not sorted out soon

Not a happy leeds fan

Believable32 Unbelievable38

Patience - all will be revealed - unless you quote a source you are just fanning the flames of doubt and disillusion my friend so keep it to your self
the cost of the club would have been sorted long ago ? no news is good news

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think the deal has fallen through aware players are pissed as the fans are but bates will feel the pinch due to fans boycott and realises he needs to sell what could be a ailing business until he goes. we have woke up to smelt the coffee and master bates knows and should quit while he s a head

Agree0 Disagree0

Original poster. I have heard exactly the same accept the bit about a player mutiny but this I could believe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please please do ya own research instead of making up bull yes there is a few players mutinying (the folk told they have no future and realise they will have to take wage cuts to secure a game next season elsewhere the price for the clube would have been one of the forst things agreed b4 any other tals took place milky

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would there be a player mutiny when there all on there summer breaks?

With regards to the alledged takeover, all we know is that talks with possible investors is ongoing (as per Official site), everything else is complete unfounded made up rubbish, every single person involved, from the banks, solicitors and ER office staff will have signed an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) which is a legally binding document and secures the privacy of any potential deal been done. So anyone saying that they work for Barclays, LLoyds or HSBC and have been told, their girlfriend is Bates P.A or has sources on the inside is talking utter B@ll@x. Patience my friends. Robbo 77

Believable37 Unbelievable2

Do we even know that talks are ongoing? Was it even a takeover bid? Could have just been some US investors looking to invest in the UK on account of the strength of the pound.

Looks like forest are at it again, first they hijack the the al-hasawi takeover and now it looks like NW is leaving to as part of that deal, can't say where I heard this but it is due to be revealed shortly after their takeover is complete. Me personally would hate for this to be true

Believable3 Unbelievable37

As a forest fan just want to say why the hell do we want Warnock after he permitted you to get hammered 7-3... At home. Keep him, you're welcome.

Great so our players don't feel wanted at the club http://www.itv.com/news/calendar/2012-06-08/leeds-united-players-speak-out-against-regime/ GREAT START

We can only go forward if we sell vital players (Snoddy & Mccormack) looks like we're gonna have another summer with no new players and a long hard battling season fighting for survival. Brilliant.

lonergan is miles better than kenny

Believable26 Unbelievable33

They are as bad as one another. Need Alex McCarthy

Agree0 Disagree0

I think there both on a par. Lonergan will do a job again next season, I'd have thought its players in out field positions we need to be concentrating on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Id rather keep loners to be honest and invest in the defence.

Agree0 Disagree0

100000% correct. Kenny is poor. Exactly why QPR are getting rid

Entitled to your opinion many would not agree with you lonergan does the wonder saves c**s up the basics costs us games

I've heard a whisper Gennaro Gattuso could be coming to Leeds if this takepver happens. Can't afford him unless the takeover happens but if it does he fits the type of player NW loves and is available after being released by Milan. Would be brilliant don't you think?

Believable11 Unbelievable34

Where do these ridiculous rumours come from? Leeds could not afford to take him out for an evening meal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmm....interesting.....he wouldnt command a fee, so lets say we pay him 50k a week, thats 600k a year, he'd only be with us for 2 years max, so would cost us 1.2m. Thats probably what the likes of Snoddy and Pearce would cost us for same period, so the fact there's no fee makes it doable even with his wages...interseting

Agree0 Disagree0

More chance of going to arsenal as Wenger is after a midfield enforcer type

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes been taking to McCoist about going back to help Rangers according to todays press.

Agree0 Disagree0

More chance of General Grievous joining LUFC than him. Wake up and smell the coffee you silly boy! There is NO takeover, only a tentative deal on a 10 year stadium naming rights deal worth a maximum of 8M. Just about enough to pay for Bolshy Ken's legal bills and his State Funeral! Phatphil

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll end up back @ rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

There's 52 weeks in a year so that 50k x 52 = 2.6 million / year NOT 600,000 / year!

Agree0 Disagree0

A 50k a week wage would cost 2.4 million a year, not 600k. where did you learn maths??

Agree0 Disagree0

50k a week = 600k a year? Yeh these 12 week years must be good. 50k a week would cost 2.6mil in a normal year. so 5.2mil over 2.

Agree0 Disagree0

Right, this is what is actually taking place. Guttuso's agent is in Glasgow organising a deal for Guttuso to return to his "home" in Glasgow with Rangers. Guttuso is married to a Scots lass and has always stated that he wished to retire after a return to Rangers. Guttuso will play for free (for a period) so that he can play for his beloved Rangers again. If you want sources for this, go on any media from Scotland and check the football news.

Agree0 Disagree0

50k a week is 2.5m a year not 600k! Are you KB cos hes s#*t with figures as well!

Agree0 Disagree0

50k per week.In 10 weeks he earns 500k not 600k per year

if you recall a month ago when this investment rumor stared - someone posted on here very early doors - that it was an american investment bank wanting to raise profile - and it was investing in Elland rd - i think he was right ?

Believable18 Unbelievable7

As seing as elland road is liknked in name only to leeds how would it raise there profile

Agree0 Disagree0

My feelings are that it's all a load of boll***s, a smoke screen from Bates.
I can see it all going tits up and "whoa is me", relegation.
I can imagine Bates steering well clear of Elland rd from now on for fear of his poor health taking a turn for the worse.
Does he not care what the supporters think and feel or does he thrive on their misery?
Is it himself posting here and stirring the sh**e, sitting back and enjoying the response? Could he be that nasty?
I think he's stone cold broke and lying and cheating his way out of tight corners only to find himself in an even tighter corner.
I've read this afternoon that he spent 4million on that ridiculous court case, money that should have been spent on our beloved team.
It's time to pull the plug on the old scrote and start again.
I hope my pessimism is just me but the longer this saga goes on the more I believe it's Bates and one of his attention seeking little games.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree entirly with the second poster...I can tell you held off a little sir, so i´ll fill in the bit that will sum up what mr. bates is...Soul Sucker
(sōl ˈsəkər)

a person or collective group of people who focus exclusively on personal gain, draining whatever they can either mentally, emotionally or spiritually from others, without any thought of reciprocation or giving in return. To take without giving.
That soul sucker always leaves evryone feeling empty and cheated.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm that second poster.
Thanks for that, I was trying to be as polite as possible.
It seems to be catching, this soul sucking.
The question is, is it the government that have learned from Bates or visa versa?

Agree0 Disagree0

We all feel disappointed. Lack of funds, Lack of progress, most importantly, lack of ambition. We have all been left in the dark.

We can't allow our great club to become an embarrassment, it seems like its now we all need to support our club- I mean,
The manager is on the verge of leaving all ready, and players feel lack of responsibility (supporters trust)

Change cannot come sooner. We all love Leeds. MOT

Phil Haye of YEP is now saying it is probably just a 'Stadium naming rights' investment. This is same guy that told us the Chicago based consortium were looking round thorpe arch and ER. Surely both stories wouldnt be true?

Warnock's reaction once back will no doubt tell you more about the situation.

Has anyone heard anymore on the directors stepping down rumours?

LS

Believable14 Unbelievable4

Wrong - it was Gary walker who wrote that article not Phil haye. It even says half way down the article 'my colleague Phil haye' so it clearly wasn't haye who wrote it...

Nothing on the Official Site so I would suggest that those rumours were probably total crap. But, you never say never!

PeteMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Alright mate, fair point. but then the point is that these two men both work for the same company and i am sure speak to the same people, so the two highly contrasting opinion are of no use.

But well spotted on writer :)

LS

Agree0 Disagree0

More poor YEP journalism - they haven't got a clue what is going on.
The reason for the silence and the fact they cannot find the name of the North Americans is simple - confidentiality agreements. Anybody in business knows that during takeover negotiations or major investment agreements there are signed undertakings not to disclose any matter of the deal and negotiations to a 3rd party

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't really name a stadium that isn't yours (as were led to understand), so were would the money for naming rights go?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would someone involved in a stadium naming investment want to look around thorp arch ?
Also I think we had better hope for a take over ! If you were a businessman, would you work with KB, fall out with him and he'll harrass you at the very least, no one in their right mind would have him as a partner
If Warnock walks away, then we'll know the truth !

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah i agree that nothing is gospel until its on the OS, although there was nothing on the OS about the investments until the rumour started flying around.

Working where i work you would think id hear more, sadly just isnt the case:(

LS

MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

Gary Walker's piece which Phil Hay (no 'e') refers to on twitter is just speculative and he clearly knows no more that Hay. The difference is Hay admits this and Walker pretends he does know - in fact he is just collating hearsay

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we all need to calm down.
the namimg rights is a bigger possibility than a takeover by yanks or arabs. bates owns elland road, thats obvious by all the building work he's currently on with. why spend his money on improving somone elses building, and he pays himself 2m in rent.
we'll all just have to wait for transfers, investments, takeovers, and bates to leave with a pinch of salt - think pessimistically, then when it does not happen, you won't be too disappointed.
come on leeds!!

Agree0 Disagree0

None of us know -main thing is we're all agreed that NW just needs a bit of cash ; even a couple of mill would make a massive difference in a situation in which we have no leverage in the transfer market, and in which no one wants out listed players! 2-6 million would be a massive bonus, but not absolutely necessary -I trust NW to spend wisely, and don't think he needs much to give the squad momentum and upward mobility. Don't expect Bates to be relinquishing power at this stage in any case -that's much more likely a year down the line; this investment is going to involve some return then, so clearly could take the form of stadium naming. I have no problem with that, and wouldn't be disappointed, as it would still represent progress, provided NW got to access some cash now. Stage by stage, step by step...And no mystery attached -we all know who owns the ground anyway...Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

They may not own the stadium but they own the rights to the stadium. So therefore they can name the stadium.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would think naming rights is a strong possibility. Don't forget the fair play rules. Owners can only put in 6m of their own money this season over and above revenue. Naming rights income is classed as revenue so they can put in as much as they like in this respect. I believe to get around the proposed rules in the Premier League Man. C's owners are ploughing 40m a year into stadium naming i.e. Etihad. JD

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct mate, your right in what your saying that surely as colleagues they liaise (well so one would assume)! But yea probably your usual journalism crosswired crap...

Scot MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's no secret that Uncle Ken is looking to develop the West Stand to incorporate the new Casino if Leeds gets the go-ahead for this. One of the rich Americans mentioned over the past week or so has casino interests already and would no doubt like to get his teeth into an English venture. If there were a deal afoot to invest in the club, primarily to buy back Elland Road and fund the new development incorporating naming rights for the stadium then i trust and sincerely hope that they don't overlook the small matter of team strengthening!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the investment that is going on will be to buy the stadium and training ground back which will save around 2 mil each yr . this will then give us funds to spend on players . in return who ever invests will get naming rights on stadium or 20 yrs promotional usage around the stadium and on web sites

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasnt it LUST who originally broke the story about a takeover, and they mentioned two groups, one being at a more advanced stage than the other. there was no mention of ground naming rights so its just YEP jumping on the rumour bandwagon! I'm wasting my life worrying over all this...

Agree0 Disagree0

"bates owns elland road, thats obvious by all the building work he's currently on with. why spend his money on improving somone elses building, and he pays himself 2m in rent"

Doesn't Adler own the stadium? But if Bates owns LUFC, then if he makes an agreement with Adler, he can borrow money with Leeds to improve the stadium, so it is Leeds and not him paying for it. That therefore improves the value of the club without costing him anything. Then he can sell it for a higher prce.

Owen Hargreaves coming to Leeds as captain as soon as this takeover is done

Believable16 Unbelievable50

Really?! So we've given up entirely on trying to become a footballing force again, and are focusing on becoming a retirement home instead? Why exactly would we waste what would no doubt be a small fortune in daft wages to pin our hopes on a player whose best days were TEN years ago (World Cup '02!), and who's played about 20 games I would guess in 5 years! Hands up if you think a couple of League Cup games are good preparation for 46+ games in the physically toughest league in the country -and possibly the World! Look, thought so...! Michael Owen! Smithy! Freddie Ljungberg! Hargreaves! Some people need to wake up to the fact that it's 2012 -we need youth, hunger, pace, power, like the man said (NW)...Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter nonsense we need players never mind a captain who can play most games in the season Owen Hargreaves would likely to be fit for 20 games a season in my opinion a waste of wages we could get 2 quality players for his wage demands. Ed y does utter drivel make its way on the main page and not the dodgy rumours page {Ed037's Note - I didn't post it mate, and anyway it is a rumour, it could happen}

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a chance that he would come as captain.....that won't be taken off snoddy....we would deffo lose him then.

i can believe that he could come...but never ever as captain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we do need young ,hungry players but we also need a few old heads in the team to help keep the young players in position and stay level headed in the last 15 mins of the games .

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, we need players who are still going to be on their feet come the last 15 mins! Hargreaves hardly fits into that category! (nor do Owen or Smithy -need I say more?) Step forward Michael Brown! Becchio is also an old head now, and captain Snoddy is vastly experienced as well now. We are Leeds, so we will always have our fair share of golden (and not so golden) oldies -Rush and Hateley anyone?! Remember how Stevie Stone was hailed as our new (old) saviour...So let's not go looking for them! Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

What makes you convinced that Hargreaves can last until the last 15 minutes of all our games?
PeteMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

We`ve already got a captain, one that cares about our beloved club, and one that most true leeds utd are proud to call captain.so we neither need a new captain,or want a new captain.end of!
alf..lufc

Agree0 Disagree0

There will not be a full takeover, that is becoming clearer by the day. As for Hargreaves why would we take on someone with his poor injury record. While at Chelsea Bates once said that he would like to see Leeds kicked out of the league, he has no feelings at all for the club and as such will never invest what is needed to gain promotion. We are in for a struggle next season with a new Manager and poor quality loanees and freebies to make up the team - depressing times ahead.

Yes we need a bit of experience but on the

Can understand why there is interest from prem clubs for Aidy White, but lets face it, hes going to lucky to be on the bench for anyone in the premiership. Good player, no end product, plenty of pace and potential, massively ovverrated but could be a star in the future.

LJHS

Believable14 Unbelievable8

Aidy Whit is one of the best prospects at the club and should be offered a fair deal. Just shows with other clubs in higher leagues looking at him. I think he should personally stay with Leeds, but we don't know the dealings he has had with Harvey and Bates over his contract. More than likely, as proved on a number of occasions, there was no room for real negotiations.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aidy White has potential but not sure in what position. He has often looked out of his depth at left back but, in fairness, impressive when going forward. Again ineffective playing wide. He hasn't yet mastered the art of receiving the ball in an advance position, turning and attacking the opposition defence with any consistency.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is over-rated with no end product, hes like the Championships version of Theo Walcott

Agree0 Disagree0

He's by no means the finished article but he's gonna develop into a top quality player and I would love it if he could do that with us. I don't know the financial dealings either with the likes of White or Clayton, but I do know they're the type of players we should be investing in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry, disagree. White will become an established Premiership performer in due course. Don't forget he is only 20, and due to Grayson's conservative management, was not ever given a proper run until this last season. Has pace to spare, which is a great point from which to start; and is capable and bright enough to develop the areas of his game which at present without doubt need working on. Is a left back, undoubtedly, and not a winger / midfielder. I can understand us psychologically wanting to comfort ourselves that a player we are about possibly to lose would be 'no great loss,' but in this case I fear that these sentiments are misplaced. Would compare to Lennon, in the sense of similar level of promise, similar dependency at this stage on pure pace, and with elements of game definitely to work on; and reckon could well be performing on a similar stage to Lennon (i.e. top 8 Prem) by mid-twenties. A player I for one rate! Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

Aidy White is 100% per cent leaving leeds united. A work colleague is best mates with his dad.

The reason for leaving is he is being offered less to sign a new contract that what he was previously on before his contract came up.

Shaun Harvey is also on more money than all the players at the club.

Harvey OUT

Bates OUT

Agree0 Disagree0

All Aidy White can do is run fast, can't control the ball quickly, can't defend, can't go pased any defenders when in attacking possitions just runs into a brick wall. Sorry yes he has potential but he's a long way off becoming a good player.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is underrated, not overrated. We should be offering AW a five figure weekly salary to keep him at Elland Road.

Another bad attitude like Alan Smith. rather pick up wages in the reserves than actually work for a living.

Lol IF paddy keeny's tweet last night was aimed around the fact he has indeed signed for Leeds, the guy could be in for shock as he is obviously unaware of how the club reacts to 'tweeting' or at least has in the past lol!

here's hoping for further news around a takeover this weekend! Fingers crossed...

Was that not a Grayson issue as opposed to club? Warnock had no problem with Barton tweeting every hour

Warnock set to resign if adequate funds are not provided soon. He's p****d that none of his targets have being signed since he left on holiday.

Believable19 Unbelievable19

Thay arnt going to sighn player yet its onley 7 june silly y would thay pay there wages for 2 month player dont sign until aug well most and if its rote in the mirror it must be true then he he he

Agree0 Disagree0

Well, if we are to end up with players we WANT we should sign them now not wait til they have signed for other teams....

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor article from the Mirror based on stories and rumours floating around before Warnock went on holiday.
If we are in the midst of a takeover (which has supposedly being going on since before Warnock went away) then we wouldn't be signing players in any case during this period.

Agree0 Disagree0

The mirror story is 1 that has been circling with a lot of falsehood the article was written yesterday sssaying that warnock was aleady back in the uk he is due back today also no mention of warnock saying this it quotes a close personal friend

Agree0 Disagree0

Tabloids are not a reliable source. I ignore almost everything they say about sports.

Agree0 Disagree0

Said this on wednesday and everybody slated me for it i spoke to paddy kenny myself we are related he told me warnock has been telling him lets see what happens then if he goes then all this talk of a takeover has been a sham by bates trying to boost sales for season tickets looks like he has already wasted 4 million the dope but lets be optomistic lol

Were under a tranfer embargo? maybe thats why?

Aidy White leaving Leeds is not definite.

One of my relatives knows Chris White and he asked him recently if he was leaving and he said they were still talking to LUFC. Aidy loves Leeds and doesn't want to leave.

He wants slightly more than what LUFC offered

Believable12 Unbelievable6

If he loves Leeds he would sign a contract whatever the money.

Agree0 Disagree0

White will be wanting his increase but the agent wants an increase aswell and this is what messes the contracts up . when a player is good enough they shouldn't need an agent in my opinion as they would be able to get a new team easy ,just a waste of money paying agents

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on the involvement of agents is just a fact of life; what's the point of us getting het up about stuff we can do nothing to change! No doubt Bates has been his usual friendly, generous self during negotiations, so let's not give a young player who knows his worth (and is no doubt on peanuts at the moment) too hard a time! Prolonged contract negotiations are a fact of life these days -and in the case of Leeds at the mo, even more prolonged as everyone (Snoddy, Mac, even Warnock -like Howson before them) waits to see the extent of the club's ambition. When 2 captains in a row take the same approach to contract talks, we know it's not just the players being picky -the club needs to show some ambition. You know what, though, shows we have had quite impressive roster of talent, amongst our top players, for a second tier club, the past couple of years -time to move things up to the next level, and try and capitalise, before they've all gone; fingers crossed for the investment talks... Info coming from ER is that NO Directors have stood down and there is no change of anyone at board room level.

The investment company who is BUYING Leeds will appoint their own board as and when and IF they purchase Leeds

NOTHING HAS CHANGED SINCE LAST WEEK.

It looks dare I say it imminent. If two directors have stood down this could be the making of the way of a new regime
Which is what we've all been waiting for. Mr Bates thank you for saving us but all things must come to an end so take your money and enjoy what's left of your life. The king is dead long live the king. If I'm jumping the gun sorry but I'd like to welcome the new owners and tell them to get ready to listen to a crowd like they've never heard.
Can you imagine a happy packed Leeds crowd and everyone singing? Phil Bramley

No further news on investment talks but I've spoken to Peter Lorimer and there's no truth in the rumour that he has left the #lufc board

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a Leeds United fan living in the USA. I am really entertained reading the postings on this site. However, I often wonder about the motive of most of the postings regarding a possible takeover. The bottom line as I see it is no one knows anything about a takeover of Leeds United. As King George the VI said Keep Calm and Carry On. If there is any truth regarding a takeover it will be announced in due course. Regards from North Carolina.

Agree0 Disagree0

But they have not stepped down. Don't understand where this has come from, can't find nothing over the Internet verifying this.
