I've heard down the grapevine that jonny howson is refusing to sign a new contact as he has agreed a 4 year pre contract agreement on 40k a week with THE SCUM. I really hope this doesn't happen but money talks, BULL***T walks

Cant see this happening at all. Howson though just like kilkenny and johnson will now wlak away in the summer for nothing. If Bradley JOhnson with his limited ability can get into the EPL and the fringe of the England tam, Howson and Clayton will surely just follow this route, some truth i am sure in him wanting to ramp up his earnings if he has a new nipper.

The only reason Jonny hasn't signed a new contract with Leeds is because he has just had a baby and he is taking the time to consider what option is best for his new family before making any rash decicions and tying himself down to one place for a long length of time, he needs to consider whats best for others now too and also ask thier opinions.

Its been stated from an insider in Thorp Arch that the reason that Mr.Leeds United Captain Fantastic Jonny Howson hasn't signed a new contract is because he's been shown intrest from some of the premier league big guns including 2 championship side's one believed to be a rival yorkshire side (Barnsley and Leicester i'm led to believe).
