Agree0 Disagree0

Wayne bridge was sat next to me on the bus today, he asked me for directions to Elland road lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Wayne Bridge on the bus. The guy earns 70 k per week. I doubt he would be travelling by public transport. Put something on here that is remotely realistic.

Agree0 Disagree0

This i would love to see, this would show that SG AND KB mean to get us in the prem.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you not remember when robinho first made his way through to man city, he was caught catching a bus with his girlfriend at the time/wife now, and look how much he was on lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

The comment about the bus was obviously a joke, duhh! Must be one of the morons Ken Bates keeps on about.

Leeds run the risk of falling apart again. The "-15" spirit from the league 1 squad is gone, with the majority of those players now moved on. Disgruntled fans are now piling pressure onto the manager and the squad. It'll only take a battering against Man United to really kill off that team spirit we had 2 years ago when we beat them.

Believable16 Unbelievable23

Man Utd result is irrelevant to how our season will go,also it won't dictate Graysons job or how disgruntled the fans will be,league games will be the telling factor,2 home wins and we'll all be happy as Larry.

Agree0 Disagree0

Here we go ... cup half full brigade - moan moan moan
come on ever heard of positive thinking mate ... this Leeds side would hammer that leeds side of Blackwell and Wise off the park - this current side plays pass and move - fast accurate on the deck and can attack and score for fun when on form - different pace and style - have you watched any games so far ? yep defence unlucky so far but wait 10 games in before you get your razor blades out eh

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever originally posted this is not a leeds fan, no true white would talk like that, go back to leicester you crisp muncher. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason only a handfull of players from the league 1 side are still at the club is that the others are really not good enough for the championship! In grayson we trust!!

Agree0 Disagree0

And what happened to that "-15 spirit" AFTER the manyoo game, if memory serves, we just managed to scrape promotion on the last day of the season .. MOT with SG :)

Love it, we don't sign any top quality player, you lot moan (majority), we sign someone of out standing quality... And your still f-ing moaning, deals take time, more will come but ffs, leave Grayson alone!
Mot, mark.

Believable19 Unbelievable11

Bang on mate its our fans negativity that hacks me off. Pele.

Agree0 Disagree0

I haven't noticed alot of people moaning about signing Fossell, apart from the fact that no one else seemed to want him and that we need other positions sorting way more than up front.

...And they had every right to moan about the lack of signings before him, even KB and SG are moaning so not sure what your problem is!

Agree0 Disagree0

Forsell is rubbish and has never been of outstanding quality, his goal scoring record is average at very best. Grayson is sinking fast under the current regime and you need to wake up and smell the coffee if you think deals "take time" Gradel deal to St Etienne done in a day! They are done fast enough when KB wants the cash in but not so fast when he has to spend. Open your eyes and realise that we are in massive trouble which is deep routed you muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the point of signing another striker when we need four defenders. Grayson out and you can go with him, you clown!

Agree0 Disagree0

Last 2 posters go back to leicester or wherever, you ain't leeds you tools. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sure these fans who continue to moan are the armchair fans who come out for the big games . come on lets get behind Larry and the team

Agree0 Disagree0

Support the boys whichever 11 pulls on a jersey... we are the best fans in the world time to step up

Agree0 Disagree0

Gradel's transfer was so quick because he genuinely wanted more than anything to go back to France and we didn't want an unhappy player, so it sped things up, Forsell will have taken some knocking down on wages and players like Clingan their clubs didn't wanna sell so it would of taken longer

how about this for a shout steed malbranque he's a free agent, talented and creative I think would make a great difference to our team what do you reckon?

Craig M.O.T

Believable20 Unbelievable15

He has quit football in order to look after his son who has a terminal illness so there is no chance there mate. {Ed025's Note - there is a chance...he has not even got a son!....that was just a malicious story that some low life made up!..i hope the person who started the rumour...rots in hell!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Has he not just been released from the club max went to? would be a good signing alongside clayton and howson

Agree0 Disagree0

Kind of meh. No doubt a quality player, but not what we really need.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a good signing, scores goals, can play on the wing, ideal replacement for Gradel.

Agree0 Disagree0

Offer him a rolling month by month contract, he's got bags of talent, from what he's supposedly said he's not sure he made the right move returning to france. If we gave him some flexibility while he sorted his head out ( with the option of signing for us if it worked out), it could only be good for both parties. mot

Agree0 Disagree0

WEll he's already stated he wants to make a move back to the premier league... so of course his wage demands will be too high... why do people always "expect" or "rumour" that these top class players will move to Leeds given our current wage structure. People need to lower their sights and be grateful that we have a decent, solid championship squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Was on one of the biggest wages at sunderland, no chance at all

Agree0 Disagree0

For one i didnt say it was going to happen and two he stated he wants to return to english football premier league wasnt mentioned and three he is 31 i dont think he is out of our reach if we tried to sign him so please read messages properly before giving an opinion. This was just an idea for a very dooable quality signing that would maybe bring a little calm to elland road for unsettled fans.

Craig

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said craig and btw my name is also craig :D would be a class signing but wages may prove a problem but is not beyond our reach.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance he clearly does not want to play football thats why he quit the team he was out, And to clear his so called son having cancer was just a sick bulls**t story MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks Craig. I agree wages could be an issue but according to his statement on sky he wasnt bothered about sitting on the bench picking up his wage in France he cancelled his contract and wants to play so with good negotiations from Leeds it could be a possible move I reckon they should offer him a years contract with a wage rise if we get promoted and a release clause if we dont. for me these are the footballers we want at Leeds that play for the game and not for money. that being said it would depend how true his words are but it seems encouraging if he is speaking the truth.

Has no one seen forssell play befor or something everyone saying he got tricks up his sleve and Grayson must have seen something in him well of course he is a top player he is the biggest name in our squad full of experience

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Agree with u mate, he's class, even if his pace has gone a bit, his knowledge and experience can only help our cause. mot

Still no urgency to get any loan midfielders or defensive players in. I used to think Grayson was a saviour after promotion but more and more I'm losing faith.... Really trying not too though. Would love smith on a free but we should have pushed the boat out for Andrews from Blackburn! Come on leeeeeeeds!

Believable4 Unbelievable11

Andrews is one of the worst footballers i have ever seen i watch him regularly for Ireland it amazes me how he made a career

Agree0 Disagree0

Andrews is at ipswich so there is no chance and hes rubish
Pointless post really

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith ? why oh why - hes not even half the player of a season ago - hes not wanted mate - let it go ! The blackburn now Ipswich donkey no thanks - lucky deflection past Lonners
we dont need them - yep Forsell proper International class and top player - very lucky to have hm in the dressing room I say

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Grayson has lost it but Smith is not the answer and for the record he never was, Keane was always better as time has shown.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why mention Keane, what he got to do with the original post? Sorry was keane a striker ever was smith a striker? That scored a double on his debut against Liverpool scored against Lazio, played like a man possessed for us?

The last post was s**te as Smith became a midfielder and if your actually going to compare him against one Keane the only one that played midfield from recollection is roy scum Keane and to be honest and fair one of the best ever in the premier league at what he did.

So not sure why you mention that but there you go

Wayne Bridge has been made available to join Championship clubs on loan. Leeds need a left-back.

Believable21 Unbelievable7

Theres more turn of pace in my transit van and thats knackered best thing john terry has done getting bridge to quit england

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love him to join! All we would need after that is at least one Centre Mid, Left Winger and a good Centre Half.

MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he come to Leeds? We cant even sign non league targets the moment.

Liked that, shame he hits the post once! Hope he can be as good with other players on the pitch!

anyone else reckon barn door is on his way out on loan?

Believable10 Unbelievable2

On loan with a view to a permanent transfer!! 150K from Brighton

Agree0 Disagree0

I think so for sure.
Place abet he scores first game though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a shame it didn't work out. Chances are wherever he goes he will be a success. How many times in the past have proven goalscorers failed at Elland Road!

Agree0 Disagree0

Except Paynter is NOT proven, he had 1 good season in a lower league

Agree0 Disagree0

Paynter should be given a short term loan to league 1 to see if he can recapture goal scoring top form like nunez and clayton were given

Agree0 Disagree0

Worked with beckford and it would save us some cash if the other team paid his wages.

Stoke defender Danny Pugh, 28, has been offered the chance to rejoin his former club Leeds on loan after being left out of City's 25-man Premier League squad.
Full story: Daily Mirror

Believable14 Unbelievable1

How the mighty have fallen. I remember when we used to loan players out to Stoke :-(

Agree0 Disagree0

How the mighty have fallen. We now get loan players in who we got rid of years ago thinking they weren't good enough..... why are they good enough now?

Agree0 Disagree0

They are good enough because we have fallen that far

Agree0 Disagree0

BBC gossip column this morning - Danny Pugh has rejected a loan move to Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

When we had him we were a premier club,in case you hadn't noticed we are in the championship, are you a Leeds supporter or one of those who just snipe at everything they do,look in the dictionary and look up support.

Agree0 Disagree0

Danny Pugh can do a very good job for us. Just because Blackwell didnt think he was good enough for the club doesnt make it gospel. I think he would be a very welcome addition to the squad, versatility alone is something we need in the squad. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Bates has given the club stability, now please sell to somebody with ambition and with the cash to achieve our aim of been a prmier league club

While Bates is in charge we will never get back to the premier league

Agree0 Disagree0

If you haven't all noticed, we haven't been in the top division for 7 years!!

Wakey wakey rise and shine.

Pugh would be a decent addition, as we are desperately short down the left hand side.

Agree0 Disagree0

It was Blackwell who thought he wasn't good enough..!! and where is Blackwell now?Pugh has always been a decent squad player

Agree0 Disagree0

The lad is now a MAN and a different player to the untested boy - that Blackwell rejected - for christs sake look at the young Clayton story and Snodgrass affair - dont you have grey matter some you lot ?? heard of the words development and experience ?
If he does come - then support the player

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you people think a player won't get any better than he was just because he wasn't thought good enough at Leeds? You seriously need have a look at yourselves! Players can leave clubs where they weren't thought to be good enough and improve!

Some of the best players in the world have played for clubs and they weren't thought good enough then went on to be top quality it does happen! Not say he is top quality but will be certainly good enough for the championship. {Ed045's Note - Very true, Pique - Barcelona one example there.

Agree0 Disagree0

When pugh joined us we were not in the premier league in reference to the 5th comment down from the post

Agree0 Disagree0

5th comment down....we were not a premier league club when we got Pugh - He was part of the deal which saw Smith go to Sc*m, which was when we were relegated!

best thing is that commenter goes on to say "are you a Leeds fan?" - any Leeds fan knows we werent a prem side when we got Pugh pal sorry!

Agree0 Disagree0

Keogh wasn't good enough, he's been a revelation since he came back

Couple of recent forsell golas for u too look at. 1st Forssell goal on you tube from July this year, against dortmund. He has quality the lad, ghosted away from his marker instant control and clinical finish.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJroF8SeYbA

Second clip from may (skip to 0:40), also clinical finish.

We have a proper striker on our hands here, in the same mould as McCormack. MOT

Believable14 Unbelievable3

I think he'll do a job, but the wrong area has been strengthened. That said, it's only 36 hours into the window and who knows who could be coming.

Agree0 Disagree0

Feck me - thats LETHAL ! - did you hear the net fizz , rattle and hum - great finisher always
