Oriol Rey signs 2 year contract keeping him at the club until summer 2020. Let's hope TP follows.

14 May 2018 06:09:22
Thought Pearce signed not long ago George?

14 May 2018 13:43:50
unfortunately not Martyn - his contract is up in the summer.

14 May 2018 21:56:45
How could they let it get to this stage with a talent like him

15 May 2018 14:14:13
because they are a bunch of incompetent idiots?

16 May 2018 01:02:54
Or, it could be that he's been offered a contract and his agent won't let him sign it, or he might be looking at the likes of Taylor and Byram . warming the bench, playing League Cup games and picking up 20,000 or more . easy life if you have no pride in your profession

13 May 2018 19:01:22
Marcus Madison put on transfer list by Peterborough. thoughts? Also big Sam set to leave Everton is he a good fit or out of our range?

Agree1 Disagree0

13 May 2018 20:08:30
Big Sam? Dunno really. Football piss poor but has decent track record over the years. A bit like Wilko although Howard did get us playing great football contrary to what some say. Sam knows how to set up a team so that would do for me so I’d probably say Yes.

13 May 2018 20:24:00
Martyn couldn't see big Sam coming to Leeds, people call his football boring but he gets results and can give players a kick up the area when needed. Just can't see him working under our current set up.

13 May 2018 21:31:17
big sam! yes yes yes. he is amazing gets results, we play poor footbal anyway, let's play poor football and win. on another note saw someone on here mention holloway? worst manager in the game at the moment ask any millwall fan about holloway and see what they say, done poor at qpr as well.

13 May 2018 20:30:00
NO to Sam, big YES to Madison

14 May 2018 07:11:36
Agree with you al, big sam has been on premier league wages far too long. Everyone saying poor football good results, isn't that what karanka does? he's brought some serious talent to forest already, I think we missed a trick there. On the other hand Madison would be great, so much quality about in league one this season and still some remaining there for next year. we should probably look there for 1 or two top end buys.

14 May 2018 08:05:28
Personally I would take both of them. Spoke to a couple of Barnsley fans yesterday and I asked them if they would take Heckingbottom back, "no way" was the reply.

14 May 2018 11:25:44
Oh yeah and get Madison's mate Marriot in as well :)

14 May 2018 18:44:14
Saw Bradley Dack playing for Gillingham last season and thought he could do a good job for us. But Blackburn got him and he has had a great season for them. There are some good players at the top end of League One, but our leaders prefer to look elsewhere.

14 May 2018 21:27:22
Good call Berm. maybe get Larry in as his number 2 aswell. you'd be in ya pants then wouldn't ya? :-D

14 May 2018 23:12:07
Why would we want players from league 1? we had players from that league and never played them in the right position. Get a grip LUFCfev sign some quality from promoted teams who have done it before or we finish 13th again.

15 May 2018 00:45:49
Of course we want quality Darren, but in my opinion and watching the Play Off games there are some decent players there, and I think Wigan and Blackburn will be decent next season.

13 May 2018 17:12:05
It's now rumoured that Bournemouth are also in the running for Pearce. Amazing that everyone except us can offer him a contract.

Agree1 Disagree1

13 May 2018 18:05:09
He has signed a contract at the end of the season.

13 May 2018 20:28:57
Has he? Reports state he is out of contract at the end of the season. Not sure which season but not on long term deal .

13 May 2018 20:33:06
He's been offered a contract, up to him whether or not he signs it. If he doesn't, then more the fool him, look what happened to Garbutt when he left us for Everton

14 May 2018 07:14:54
Really do think we need to keep TP, good little player and I really don't want to be seeing another leeds youth player walk on. The difference with this lad I think is that he's under different ownership. One thing radz and orta have gotten right is their youth scouting, rey signing last night, hosanna has signed, oconnor, need bpf and pearce now and to be honest, I think if they don't do so the 5 year plan is completely worthless.

14 May 2018 18:10:05
Spot on samo. If they want us to really believe this plan, they need to put their money where their mouth is, as far as retaining talent is concerned.

15 May 2018 13:26:05
Players always have the upper hand when it comes to contracts or transfers . it's up to the lad himself now (and, no doubt, his money-grabbing agent) Which brings me as to why an agents is needed, join the union and let them do it for nowt ! ! !

13 May 2018 11:42:35
According to reports Mbakogu is joining for £3m, I might be wrong, but it seems yet another gamble on a player who is no prolific goal scorer and is injury prone. This transfer policy the Club keep pursing makes no sense at all to me.

Agree2 Disagree0

13 May 2018 12:16:40
Totally agree Lufcfev, seems we learnt nothing from the last season and keep on trying the same route . Doesn't give me much faith or hope for a better season just more of the same, hope I am wrong though!

13 May 2018 13:03:01
Does Orta/Radz learn nothing? With the amount of players out there. out of contract, high scoring, uninjured, relatively cheap and we go for Mbakogu? Why?

13 May 2018 14:14:51
Sadly Leodis, they continue with the same policy. Really can't believe how Orta continually gets these type of players past Radz.

13 May 2018 21:48:27
It makes Radz look a total baffoon that he cannot see that Orta is destroying the Club.

13 May 2018 20:34:49
Erm, are we destroying people on the basis of rumours now?

14 May 2018 17:59:03
I know how to pronounce Jerry but how do you pronounce his surname. When he fails it will be Hecky s fault.

13 May 2018 10:00:01
Rumoured that Everton are after Tom Pearce. And so the exodus of our decent players and prospects begins. One for the future, Everton's future that is.

Agree0 Disagree2

13 May 2018 11:26:57
Hope not but wouldn't surprise me. Laughable that we sign some crap and put them on long contracts but the ones that are good or show promise we mess about offering them new contracts or extensions to deals.

13 May 2018 11:46:01
If this happens it shows the powers that be at the Club don't know what the ball is blown up with.

12 May 2018 16:33:20
Rumours on twitter are that our pre-season tour this year could be in the USA.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 May 2018 07:16:50
Be great for publicity to be honest, some other big teams playing in the USA this year. Also some very good players playing in the US at the minute, perhaps we could talk to a few while were there?

12 May 2018 16:31:53
@deancore on Twitter is reporting Heckingbottom could leave within the next two weeks, due to a "mutual termination after disagreement on way forward. " He also believes he will be replaced by "someone respected, someone who isn't phased coming into Leeds. Not their biggest job ever, just experienced and knowledge. " Unsure on his source, I'm just relaying the information.

Agree4 Disagree1

12 May 2018 17:55:51
Hope so

12 May 2018 21:14:58
Cant see it but let's kerp our fingers crossed

12 May 2018 22:26:28
If it was a mutual termination surely he'd go straight away. Unless he's got two weeks notice! 😁

14 May 2018 07:19:37
2 weeks to get his kids out of school and book a holiday. On another note though, what was the point in him being the one to take the team to Myanmar if he's not the one to start off with them next year. This was a stop gap appointment for both parties imo, hence the 18 month deal. I really am glad that he could be on his way, he's done what he was meant to do imo, bring through youth and give direction on which players are good enough and which aren't. A fresh start and lots of dealings with agents in Russia this year, while the lads work hard on their pre season tour, and you might just have a new look leeds come august, big big ask but not out of the window. there's more to radz than we believe

11 May 2018 22:51:49
Adam Pope reporting that any funds generated from season ticket sales will be ploughed straight into recruitment of new players to strengthen the team.

12 May 2018 10:32:09
Another Radz / Kinnear sales pitch.

11 May 2018 19:15:25
Just a thought or stab in the dark but I wonder if the Myanmar tour and the alleged new invested are linked?

Agree0 Disagree4

12 May 2018 16:45:54
I won’t trust Radz one bit, he’s just trying to boost sales, the more money he gets the bigger his pockets.

11 May 2018 13:40:03
Radz making £9m additional funds available for the transfer kitty as he aims to improve the squad with a few quality additions.

Agree2 Disagree1

11 May 2018 14:54:23
mmm. hiw many new additions does £9m get these days? 0.5 possibly

11 May 2018 14:56:01
5m got us Forshaw so maybe 2 around that quality or maybe a few frees with additional money to pay their wages?

11 May 2018 16:13:14
Hmm, only 9 million hope Orta a spends it wisely.

11 May 2018 16:37:57
Don't forget, to whatever the price is for a player must be added 2+ mill ish for a 3year contract.

11 May 2018 21:28:38
That's £9M + ST money and the next bit of the Wood money, so around £16 - £18M?

12 May 2018 16:49:25
AL, all woods money went to the investors, so don’t count that mate 9 mil is one player and that won’t do, we need a bigger war chest if we have any chance of going up simply, so to all the investors dig out your money,
