Just watching Ipswich v Watford and Watford are doing to Ipswich what they did to Leeds. They are smothering everything and playing with one lone striker by the looks of it! A couple of threats from Ipswich in the last 5 mins but apart from that nothing, it really is a carbon copy full game just like when we played Watford 👍.

It won't happen but can you imagine Dallas comes on 10 mins left v Southampton and scores the winner that sends us up.

Poetry……!

Apparently on present form Ipswich and Southampton will be promoted automatically and Leicester will beat us in the play offs. On those stats pundits are saying we will then lose our best players in the Summer and finish mid table next season Interesting not.

Sad news that Stuart has decided to retire I would like to thank him very much for all is fantastic moments he has give to his Leeds fans I wish him well for his future career ambitions what ever that may be, it will be very sad not to see him in a Leeds shirt again I do hope the club can sort out a position to keep him at our club. All the best mate and once again a big thank you.

Farke has said that so far this season he has received 6 letters of apology from the Football League over poor refereeing performances.
I suspect the 7th will already be in the post.

{Ed025's Note - and well it should be..

Whilst he's corresponding with them, can we also receive written apologies for the disallowed Lorimer free kick against Chelsea and the Jeff Astle goal?

10 Apr 2024 21:30:11
What about Lorimer’s disallowed goal against Bayern Munich in 1975? Is that apology still in the post George? 😞.

10 Apr 2024 22:36:54
🪵y Yeah along with the failure to award us a penalty for Beckenbauer poleaxing Sniffer in the box.

11 Apr 2024 04:08:18
Good call George, there will be so so many if we think about it eh? 👍.

No arguments at all!

Alf Don't think Paddy scored against Plymouth. I'll go for the one he scored against Peterborough.

10 Apr 2024 23:10:26
Yes good correction George.

All the best Dallas, it's been a pleasure watching you play for us. As part of the great Bielsa team, you'll always be extremely highly respected by me. Love yoyr passion, versatility and honest player, no play acting which is a rarity these days.
Even if it's a 10 second cameo, I'd love to see him come off the bench Vs Southampton last game of our season.

so Baz, are you saying the current Leeds team are better than the team Revie had in 62/ 63?

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2024 15:58:07
Up front Farke team yes

Revie had King Billy and Big Jack .

10 Apr 2024 23:11:00
But not the team as a whole?

10 Apr 2024 09:54:55
126 corners zero goals from since Posh

That's an appalling stat
That and the regular, waste of 2 men standing over a free kick,

Mad bad Leroy brown.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2024 10:32:45
That's a sackable stat . because a good coach would have remedied that with coaching, team selection, appropriate recruitment

No goals from so many corners will be a major reason for failing to go up.

I share Daniel Farke's frustration about last night. This isn't a kick about in the park. This is top level professional sport - with consequences when people don't do their job. Just as we lambast our handsomely paid centre forward for missing sitters when his job is to score goals, the authorities should have a close look at the officiating last night. The Sunderland manager will be relieved his team got a 0 v 0 draw - but I doubt he's happy. Their job was to concentrate and defend resolutely for 90 minutes and he will also have told them not commit silly infringements in their own 18 yard box or on the edge of it. Then when the chance arose, to release the ball to Jack Clarke on the break and see what he could do. They succeeded on occasion on the second point but they failed on the first. Two clear penalty shouts, one in each half, with the second a nailed on offence - as their goalkeeper sheepishly gathered the ball in his hands as he waited for the ref to blow his whistle and point to the spot. The culprit would also have got a second yellow card and been sent off. If the penalty is given and we score, the opposition have to open up and as we have seen this season, we often then go on to win handsomely. Yes we huffed and puffed last night but we haven't got a right to win matches. When teams set up like this they are hard to break down. We had plenty of corners so we had plenty of offensive play. Two of our attacks were thwarted by infringements and the officials should have dealt with that. Very poor.

The ref was. abysmal but Leeds have been mediocre for 4 matches now.

10 Apr 2024 14:06:58
Spot on Manston. The refereeing we have suffered this season has been more poor, and lasted longer than our current lull, Baz buddy!
