My best 11 fully fit in a 442 would be. Wield, de bock, Pontus Penns ( replaced in summer with better) Ayling . Dallas Viera Foresaw Roberts . with Saiz and Ekuban up top . (Pablo to give Saiz a rest) Keeping the best of the rest if we add 3 players to the spine CH, DCM, striker and a couple of pacy wingers. Properly managed you would to think there would be enough there add in some U23's

A mighty decision to test the mettle of PH in the coming months and even into the summer. Orta just cannot employ his scatter gun recruitment this time around. We have players and potential cover in all positions (except GK) even allowing for varying formations. Depending on a few varyables and no new recruitment I can see a next year oufield line up 4,1,3,2 of AYLING (berardi/coyle) ///PONTUS (struijk) ///PENNINGTON (o'connor/shaugnessy) ///DEBOCK (dallas) ---VIERA---IDEGUCHI (hernandez) ///SAIZ///FORSHAW---LASSOGA (grot) ///EKUBAN (tyler) That also leaves decisions pending on such as Sarkic, Temonuzhkov, Wilkes, and Antonsson

So in the last 2 years bansley have played a 4-1-4-1 in over 45 games, which shows he's keen on that. The remaining havebeen 442 or 433. I am told they have played with width previously. and love to swing balls in to a big striker. this 4141 has me thinking forshaw is going to be quality. If he sticks with this i think your team for saturday will be as follows: wied, anita, penns, pearce, de bock, forshaw, alioski, vieira, phillips, hernandez, tyro

Dependant upon Pontus injury I would shake up the team a bit. Try for a 4-1-3-2 Felix - Anita, Penn, Stuijk (Halme) , DeBock - Pearce (Romario) - Hernandez, Forshaw, Dallas - Roberts, Grot. I know TC doesn't like Anita I don't particularily but nobody else fits naturally. I am assuming Shaugnessy is out. Forshaw looked the business, enercy and creativity so he goes centre. Let's see if Roberts is any good and give Grot another chance. At least they will be mobile, full of running and cant' be much worse than Lassoga. Hopefully, a surprise package. I know you could argue all day but it is difficult without playing to many kids out of position on a debut. I also toyed with the idea of finding room for O'Connor and Dalby.

Without Saiz, think I might go 4-3-3 with Alioski, Hernandez and Roofe up top, Philips, O' Kane and Viera in the middle.

I'd love to see this line up tonight but it won't happen. Lonergan, back three of O'Shaughnessy, Jannson and Pennington, Ayling and Alioski as wing backs. Viera and O'Kane holding midfielders. Hernandez in front of them with Saiz and Roofe up front. Something different?

Just a thought, suggested this when we had the defender crisis last year, if we are getting over run in the middle and people want an extra forward on to take the pressure off Lassoga would it be worth trying a game as a 3-5-2? Thinking - Cooper (CB) , Jansson (CB) , Pennington (CB) , Dallas (LM) , O'Kane (CM) , Shaunessy (DM) , Philips (CM) , Ayling (RM) , Lassoga (ST) , Saiz (ST) . Dallas and Ayling both have the stamina to get back into a wing-back role if the Opposition pushes or forward into a Winger role if we are in control with Shaunessy (or Anita) giving the CM the bite its been lacking, only takes 1 sub to go back to our preferred shape if it doesn't work out too.

How about this team for tonight:- Lonergan in goal then Borthwick-Jackson, Pennington, Shaunghnessy, Beradi, Vierra, Klich, Dallas, Cibicki, Roofe with Grot up front. Tonight gives TC a chance to run the rule over a few untried players and it gives the previously injured a run out, I'm not saying in any way that the game doesn't matter because it does but the league is priority and the team I've picked is just as capable of beating the Dingles! It also gives the other players time to reflect and recharge their batteries. MOT

So with the summer window done, I want to hear your favourite 18 that you think will bring Leeds the most success. I'll start: Wiedewald, ayling, jansson, cooper, berardi, okane, Phillips, alioski, saiz, hernandez, lassoga. Subs: lonergan, anita, penno, Dallas, vieira, cibicki, roofe. no klich or ekuban is frustrating to have to keep them out, but drop in form says that we are able to bring either in immediately. Also have ahaugnessy, gomes, kun, BPF, CBJ who could all do the business IMO.

Right for team that will play Sunderland. I will go for this/ Wiedwald, Ayling, Jansson, Cooper Borthwick-Jackson, Bridcutt (he will have a huge point to prove against Sunderland. this is the reason I am picking him, as think he will give 150% in this match! ) Phillips (is the only CM we have that likes to attack the box) Hernandez, Saiz, Dallas, Wood. What are your thoughts, and who would you change/why? MOT
