Dalby signing from Orient to join academy. God knows how they are all going to get game time. Still have not seen KunT for a full match yet, or Siddicki. let's hope some are good enough for first team soon. Problem is some of our home grown young ones, like Huffer, are struggling to get a game. And where is Farrel.

1.) 22 Jan 2018 23:31:54
We will win The Premiership in 2023!

2.) 23 Jan 2018 09:06:22
i was at the orient game when he scored, looks promising but didn't stand out as someone who was must buy. bit like a poor mans peter crouch but could do a job in couple of years. I do think it is smart it only takes one of two of these to come good and the sale from them will more than cover all the player expenses. I am pleased leeds seem to have one eye on the future

3.) 23 Jan 2018 09:51:30
Is Kun T injured? He was not even on the bench for the U23s against Huddersfield.

4.) 23 Jan 2018 14:09:53
I'd take that Mike!

I do not think it was us playing badly. Millwall had a plan to play us and it worked, same way Preston nearly did it the other week. Against teams like that we should drop Pablo and put Viera in and play Phillips further up pitch. Can always alternate when hard work done. let's not forget as well we just changed dynamics of team bringing Lasogga in, totally different player to Roofe. Team is still learning but think against physical hard working teams playing Pablo and Saiz from start is a bit of a gamble

1.) 18 Sep 2017 15:42:00
Don't worry BIGE they were tired and TC forgot his plan B😁😁

23 Aug 2017 15:15:05
Doukara gone to Turkey, that was quick, good luck to the lad.

1.) 23 Aug 2017 15:33:34
Yes. Good luck douk. Did your very best for us. can't argue with that!

2.) 23 Aug 2017 17:08:53
I have no problem with the Douk, however, he was one of the infamous sick note six and maybe (just like Charlie Taylor) , was ill advised. Bit of an error of judgement on his part but he seemed to get his head down and get on with it after that. On his day, capable of a worldy and on another day could be completely useless. Best of luck Douk and thanks for the memories (volley against Forest) . MM

3.) 23 Aug 2017 21:59:15
Probably for the best. Mystified me why we extended his contract for a year tbh clearly not good enough to be anything but a squad player. All the best Douk

4.) 24 Aug 2017 00:51:24
Good luck to Douk

Mcilduff left back from Celtic on trial. Did well at youth level so could be a canny addition.

1.) 02 Aug 2017 12:38:15
Released by celtic for not being good enough

Well that's all folks. Had a good season and as usual fell apart a bit at the end. Expect to see quite a few changes in summer. Monk did well with a small squad but i do have my doubts at times. That piece he had in EP he said if we get beat its not down to tactics or formation but players performance. Sorry but that's a bit of a cop out and not sure it is what Radz will be wanting to hear. Think he has done well and would be fine with him staying and building on what he has done but not sure if he can be a great manager.

1.) 29 Apr 2017 22:22:02
Good post bige, agree in every way

2.) 30 Apr 2017 03:05:01
Agree with you BIGE just wish radz would of pumped £6-10 million when he came in and signed a striker and centre back when we was in a great position in January. If he wasnt willing to do it then i'm afraid for us in the next window when we start at 0 points.

3.) 30 Apr 2017 03:06:34
Would snap up Grayson if monk goes.

4.) 30 Apr 2017 10:20:53
You ain't going to get a great manager in the championship.

5.) 01 May 2017 11:14:58
Swadlad a lot of managers who started in lower divisions turned out to be great. My post read i don't think Monk will be one of them. Nothing about getting a top manager in

Defensively weak again. De Bock Pennington O, Kane weak links unless they improve dramatically from previous games. Enough creative midfielders out there and a bit of pace from Ekuban. Hopefully we can keep the ball in their half. Badly missing a Batty.

1.) 10 Mar 2018 15:58:12
Or a Vinny Jones

2.) 10 Mar 2018 16:23:44
Even a Chris Kamara.

06 Feb 2018 13:13:09
Seriously hope Heckingbottom does well, only time will tell. Fact is since he has got into championship he has done nothing. Preston came up with a crap team but look at them now. They did well in first season then consolidated. I am fully behind behind him until i decide otherwise. Just can't see why some are applauding his appointment like he will get us up. Guess management have extended their youth policy to coaches as well. Just concerned that at the end of the season if we finish 17th same dogma will be spouted about him coming in mid season, did not know the team, let's give him the summer training and judge him at christmas. We needed a proven stiker did not get one. We needed a coach who could put the fighting spirit back into Leeds, not sure we got one. I am sort of resigning myself to another five years of mediocrity until all these wonder kids are ready for the first team, please prove me wrong.

1.) 06 Feb 2018 14:03:57
Well said. Fans seriously have no ambition. Double standards as well. They'd be kicking off if it was a Cellino appointment.

05 Feb 2018 23:15:37
BW how can you say Leeds under Revie underachieved and Wilko was better. Seriuosly under achieving is winning the first division and charity shield one year them finishing 17th the next. I loved Wilko for what he brought to us but Revie built Leeds from the bottom to the top. No comparison and no team looked forward to playing us. As for Heckingbottom totally underwhelmed. Look at his record this season.

1.) 06 Feb 2018 00:32:09
for me it is very easy, wilko had a decent team, looking at the league in 91-92 maybe we should of finsihed between 6th-4th yet we won the league. wilko won the league despite not having the best team, Revie had a world class team yet won very little, was often beaten by poorer teams.

That revie team should of dominated and set up an empire yet what did he win with all that talent? two leagues, one fa cup, one league cup and two pretend european cups. in my opinion no where near enough therefor he wasn't as good as someone who over achieves. as for anyone who says clough was not as good as the don? I don't even see how that arguement stands up on any level as clough won more and did it with far poorer teams than the dons leeds.

also revie was poor as england manager again showing he maybe is not the god we all think he is. don't get me wrong love watching the videos of his team and think he was good but for me he was not great

2.) 06 Feb 2018 03:54:11
Bige Because he's a fry short of a Happy Meal

3.) 06 Feb 2018 08:12:39
leave it out george you wanted o'leary back. I think maybe its because i'm not from leeds so hear what 'outsiders' say. maybe its because i'm not from that era so I can be a bit more pragmatic

4.) 06 Feb 2018 14:45:35
The difference between the two is that the Don's team were one of many great teams at the time and in 92 maybe 4 - 5, and as mentioned above a Revie team never did 17th.

02 Feb 2018 13:26:10
Well its nice to see a lot on here are still upbeat and hoping we still have a chance of playoffs. I usually look on the bright side but do not hold out muc hope for this season. Recent signings are an improvement but do not see them dramatically changing the dynamics of the team. Roberts has a lot to prove yet, Forshaw is a top player at this level and De Bock looks decent and the fact he is a left back is an improvement. However when TC comes out with comments like Roberts best position is a striker but i can use him anywhere it sort of puts things into perspective. Orta TC, and Corboran are not good enough. TC could improve as it is his first season but the other two need to go. I can guarantee that Stokes will not be the last to leave the academy the way it is being run. When we have been short in areas why have Pearce and Sarkic or Wilks not been involved. Why buy an unproven 19 year old striker when we have plenty of them. Why are Coyle, Wilks, Farrel going out on loan. We play a left sided player on the right, a right sided player on the left, a striker as a winger. Think we should be going back to the old ways of having a plan to counteract who we are playing and put a team out accordingly. We will be lucky to get to top six now as other teams have strentghened and on a roll. Sure if we win our next five it all changes but can anyone see that happening and time will soon run out. We are oly 4 points adrift but that can soon become 7 then 10. IMO needed a proven goalscorer at this level and we did not get it. Heres to the future.

1.) 02 Feb 2018 14:33:29
Tc out and 90% playoffs. Talk the talk. Walk the talk. Tc is useless. that's a fact. Check his stats. Listen to him talk. Look at his subs. i'd go to far as to say. Someone else is paying him more. Utter crap.

2.) 02 Feb 2018 14:52:35
Square pegs in round holes again. TC will not play Roberts as a striker but thinks he can do a job as a winger. If you wanted a winger TC then ask Orta to get a winger. Academic anyway, Roberts is "injured" and is not available for selection tomorrow

3.) 02 Feb 2018 15:25:00
only really good thing that gives me hope, all these young players we buy, the fans from the clubs that have sold are sad to see them go, this is a real positive for me. have no faith in TC but lots in the sqaud and real hope for the plans for the furtue and transfer with an eye to the future for leeds. the future is birght the future is orange. ok it is bright white

4.) 02 Feb 2018 15:30:56
Thanks BW.

5.) 02 Feb 2018 16:19:10
your welcome mate always backed you for big things

6.) 02 Feb 2018 21:00:40
Aussie tell us all then who gives us a 90% chance of the play-offs? Who you got in mind?

Where will they all play. Sarkic doing well so where does Dalby go. Got a new keeper so means Huffer, one of the best young goalies about, will struggle for games. Seriously can't see how payers will progress with all the chopping and changing. We got about hundred strikers and CBs in academy but short in first team.

Can not understand it myself. Japan international, says best bit about his game is tackling, just what we need. So why was he sent to a serie B side who are at the bottom of their league. All bull to me.

Pearce is a good one. Likes to get forward and good crosser of the ball. Will need Dallas to be on his game as well but Reading not too physical. Would blood Paudi next game at CB.

Have we not just got six or seven young future stars from Barca, Juve etc. Wolves just got them a bit older so they could actually play for the team. Jealousy really, if they don't go up will be hit by ffp but come on they are going up and don't see anything illegal in what they have done.

Not sure never plays much but he is a step into the Asian merchandising business, a chinese and saudi player will be good for business too.
