Please let it be true and we have Ranieri for next season. Need a proper manager/coach get your money out Radz.

BIGE

1.) 02 May 2018 12:41:32
BIGE, reports say that Radz has had talks with dog bottom and those talks have restored Radz confidence in dogbottom so do think it’s going to change any time soon.

2.) 02 May 2018 13:27:58
Do or don't whiteman?

3.) 05 May 2018 08:36:40
Anyones got to be better than heckingbottomarse

4.) 05 May 2018 16:53:45
Alfupper, can’t stand the man, off with his head, what did Radz say top six is minimum, both failed in my book .

I think most agree the team this season have not been good enough. We are likely to lose Pontus, Hernandez and Saiz in the summer. Anita, Lassoga, Pennington, De Bock, Sacko, Felix. O, Kane, Cooper, Cibbicki all need to move on, probably loaned out as i can't see many being wanted unless league one clubs are interested. Of the playerss out on loan only Coyle deserves to come back, Klich is playing well but not sure he can do it in this league.

Looking at the players we are being linked with not sure any will improve us for next season. So if we are looking at a five year plan think the summer is the time to kick sstart it. Young ones who have proved themselves in U23s should step up. For me that's Dalby, Sarkic, Machuca, Clarke, Rey, Strujik, Denton and maybe Hosannah. Not saying play them every game but they should be in first team squad and given game time to see how good they are.

They can still get games with U23s and take the experience back with them and maybe motivate the other young ones. Plenty of talent in U19s and U18s who could step up to U23s. That will not solve our problems as we will still need at least one CB a No2 goalkeeper, a DM, maybe Ide our Japanesse ghost, a No 10, a proper striker, and someone with pace preferably a winger who can cross. Add these to BPF, Paudi, Ayling, Berardi, Pearce, Vierra, Phillips, Forshaw, Alioski, Roofe, Ekuban and Connor then maybe we could see some improvement next season.

I see no point in buying players like this Jerry guy who can't score gets injured as it is just stopping proper young talent from progressing. If the young ones step up and perform then i will personally apologise to Orta. Thing is i am concerned some may be gone before they get near the first team so let's kick on. that's a five year plan i am not keen on.

1.) 24 Apr 2018 11:52:10
Good post Bige. I believe we will try and retain Penny.

2.) 24 Apr 2018 12:08:56
So what's the difference between this Jerry guy and ekuban who you want to retain? Both are injury prone and couldn't score in winstons

3.) 24 Apr 2018 15:06:02
Keep Phillips really. needs to go.

4.) 24 Apr 2018 20:48:16
Agree with most of that BIGE, apart from, Pontus and Saiz to stay, Cooper to stay and Beradi to go

5.) 24 Apr 2018 22:16:02
Would love Pontus and Saiz to stay AL but think if someone makes a bid they will go. Sadly i think Pablo is looking for an out. If they do go doubt we will sign anyone of same quality as those three

6.) 25 Apr 2018 00:25:27
Theres that Roberts to come in yet.

7.) 25 Apr 2018 11:03:46
Philips? Another example of a player playing out of position

8.) 25 Apr 2018 23:21:08
TBH, after Saiz's little show of petulance, and not for the first time, on Saturday then I'm not sure anyone will want him.

22 Jan 2018 16:42:47
Dalby signing from Orient to join academy. God knows how they are all going to get game time. Still have not seen KunT for a full match yet, or Siddicki. let's hope some are good enough for first team soon. Problem is some of our home grown young ones, like Huffer, are struggling to get a game. And where is Farrel.

BIGE

1.) 22 Jan 2018 23:31:54
We will win The Premiership in 2023!

2.) 23 Jan 2018 09:06:22
i was at the orient game when he scored, looks promising but didn't stand out as someone who was must buy. bit like a poor mans peter crouch but could do a job in couple of years. I do think it is smart it only takes one of two of these to come good and the sale from them will more than cover all the player expenses. I am pleased leeds seem to have one eye on the future

3.) 23 Jan 2018 09:51:30
Is Kun T injured? He was not even on the bench for the U23s against Huddersfield.

4.) 23 Jan 2018 14:09:53
I'd take that Mike!

18 Sep 2017 10:07:14
I do not think it was us playing badly. Millwall had a plan to play us and it worked, same way Preston nearly did it the other week. Against teams like that we should drop Pablo and put Viera in and play Phillips further up pitch. Can always alternate when hard work done. let's not forget as well we just changed dynamics of team bringing Lasogga in, totally different player to Roofe. Team is still learning but think against physical hard working teams playing Pablo and Saiz from start is a bit of a gamble

Doukara gone to Turkey, that was quick, good luck to the lad.

1.) 23 Aug 2017 15:33:34
Yes. Good luck douk. Did your very best for us. can't argue with that!

2.) 23 Aug 2017 17:08:53
I have no problem with the Douk, however, he was one of the infamous sick note six and maybe (just like Charlie Taylor) , was ill advised. Bit of an error of judgement on his part but he seemed to get his head down and get on with it after that. On his day, capable of a worldy and on another day could be completely useless. Best of luck Douk and thanks for the memories (volley against Forest) . MM

3.) 23 Aug 2017 21:59:15
Probably for the best. Mystified me why we extended his contract for a year tbh clearly not good enough to be anything but a squad player. All the best Douk

4.) 24 Aug 2017 00:51:24
Good luck to Douk

Happy with the choices for the Bremner square eleven. All legends. A few others deserving of a place but i would not replace any of the eleven chosen. What a team that would be, Lucas could play in goal lol

BIGE

Who were they?

2.) 05 May 2018 12:31:52
Hunter, Radebe, J. Charlton, E. Gray, Speed, Giles, Lorimer, Strachan, Clarke and John Charles and of course Billy

3.) 05 May 2018 13:27:33
Batty and McAllister before Strachan in my eyes.

30 Apr 2018 11:24:51
I said i would give him till the end of the season before judging him and now we are just about there must say Hecky is not the man for the job. It is not just the results and performances, although woeful, that have made me come to this decision. Its also his inability to lift the players and gee them up. He is forced into playing two young ones, Pearce and Paudi, who play better than the ones they replaced, then puts them back on the bench for no reason. He has young players travelling with first team with no intention of playing them in games that are meaningless and ideal to blood them in. I believe he is just a yes man and and doing what he is told. Young ones being around the first team gets their names in the papers and ups their profiles. If he thinks they are good why not play them or is it media spin. Do not get me wrong think quite a few young ones are talented and deserve a chance but we are not using them right. He had the time to blood some of these over the last five or six games but all that's happened is we have talked about how good they are and seen nothing. Now we will take them to Burma and give them all malaria.

BIGE

1.) 01 May 2018 05:28:55
Absotively posilutely agree with you 100% Bige. He is playing to get a result so he can save his own skin. Last week he showed zero interest ineveloping the team or the yong ones. The onge good transfer we need for next eason is a Manger who canbring the best out of the players/team.

Interesting to read all the views surrounding the upcoming tour. Although i find their governments policies abhorent i make my opinion on is it good for Leeds United football club. Politics are a different matter altogether. As Radz said we will make no money from it so financial wise no good for us. The teams we will play will be pss poor so football wise will not benefit us as i said earlier may as well have played some local school sides. Will it generate future income for us as a club. I doubt it as most of the people have no money to buy shirts . As far as i see it the only ones who will benefit are the companies Radz has shares in, the ones that at present are being investigated by the EU commission. Will it enhance the name of Leeds internationally, definately not. So in my opinion this tour is going ahead purely for Radz other companies benefits and has no benefit whatsoever for Leeds football club. For him to say otherwise shows who he is. He knew this woulld be controversial but went ahead anyway out of pure greed. As they say you can wrap a turd up any way you want but its still a turd.

BIGE

1.) 27 Apr 2018 12:32:52
That's what I've been trying to say all along bige but you put it well. Far better than me.

2.) 27 Apr 2018 16:27:18
Spot on BIGE, totally agree but sadly Radz doesn't appear willing to u-turn on this one. Good to see you made a reference to football in your post to please some on here.

3.) 27 Apr 2018 18:59:14
Good post BIGE, sometimes it seems football is the least thing on Radz mind.

4.) 27 Apr 2018 19:29:25
Another thing tha I don't think has been fed into the equation is the size of the Asian community in and around Leeds, surely tapping into that will bring more gains than popping off to Burma, no doubt being pampered and looked after like royalty while down the road villages are being burnt to the ground with the villagers in them.

5.) 27 Apr 2018 20:09:02
Yep, Radz is increasingly looking like a proper fool. And in the process is, once again, harming the name of Leeds United. Think we have Cellino Mark2 on our hands. At this rate his position could become untenable - or is that wishful thinking!

6.) 27 Apr 2018 21:32:04
Cellinio for all his faults was a crook but wasn't this stupid

7.) 27 Apr 2018 22:37:08
Martyn find myself agreeing more and more with you fella.

8.) 28 Apr 2018 06:20:59

22 Apr 2018 09:37:03
The media and a few others have highlighted quite rightly the success our development squads are having. However i think credit is going to the wrong person in Orta. The majority of the squads are Cellino prodigies. Lads like Clarke, Dalby, Edmonson have been found by our local scouting network so i can't credit Orta with them either. Just watched some vids of u18s games and KunT looks the package but the stand out for me is Bobby Kamwa their top scorer who seems to be overlooked for praise. Edmonson a close third. U23s only Orta buy that stands out is Machuca, who should be around first team next season in my opinion. The polish goalie looks decent but no better than Huffer. So let's not get the young ones success out of proportion, Orta so far has unearthed two possibles for the future. A lot of his signings are noticeable by their absence. And we all know his success rate with first team signings.

BIGE

1.) 22 Apr 2018 10:06:44
Didn't we sign Dalby and Edmondson this season ?

2.) 22 Apr 2018 10:35:10
Yes but i pointed out they would have come through our domestic networks that have been in place for decades so Orta can't take credit for them. Its our international scouting system that has new faces running them. Yes Orta is director of football and ultimately responsible for signings but i doubt he personally scouted these lads. What he brings in in the summer will show how committed he and radz are to getting us promoted or is it just about the money again.

3.) 22 Apr 2018 10:51:30
I personally think it is the latter and would explain why Orta is not leaving as he is on a cushy number

4.) 22 Apr 2018 12:11:59
Totally spot on BIGE, exactly what I had said in a previous reply. Most young ones now coming through were already in our youth system, not down to Orta or Radz.

5.) 22 Apr 2018 16:01:57
Bloody hell . please try not to give Orta any credit whatsoever eh?

6.) 22 Apr 2018 16:08:14
Didn't Cellino run our former scouting networks down to almost nothing, and Orta has rebuilt them?

7.) 22 Apr 2018 16:37:08
It was Bates who absolutely slaughtered our youth network to cut costs. Cellino partially invested in youth, while re opening certain development centres. The investment by Radz is well above what we have seen since theWilko and Ridsdale eras. BIGE is right, a lot of the talent now coming through at 18 and 23 level have been on the books a longtime, barring The recent signings.

8.) 22 Apr 2018 17:37:20
AL sure i gave Orta credit for KunT and Machuca. They still got to make it to first team though, but if they sell for 5mill each in a couple of years sure Radz will see that as job well done.

9.) 22 Apr 2018 20:26:39
You’re right Al Cellini sacked all the club scouts along with lots of other members of staff.

Said before signings should be made to improve the team, doubt anyone we have been linked with so far will. We have Roberts, Dalby, Sarkic, Edmondson all young talented yet unproven strikers, why do we need another one.

Not knocking Radz at the moment, said i will wait until transfers are finished. My point was the debts had been restructured by Cellino and we were on a sound financial footing. The fact Aser bought us sort of proves that with the amount they were willing to pay. They did not buy us because they love Leeds and always wanted to own us. Yes they are paying GFH as anyone would be, Thorpe arch is still there. ER would have been bought back under any owner as it is an integral part of the club. Yes Radz is doing well on the business front so let's see how much he can raise this window to get some one in who will make a difference.

I think the club was improving quite nicely before Radz got involved so not sure what rubbish circumstances you refer to Class. Radz bought the ground, which was going to happen anyway as buy back clause was running out. Orta has bought a lot of youngsters, which we usually find anyway, Clarke, Dalby, Edmonson would have been on our radar anyway. Think Cellino did a good job at turning this club around all Radz had to do was improve the first team squad, which he has not done yet. As i have said the summer will see if we have owners who want to go for gold or the premiership.
