We're finally being linked with acquiring a central defender of some class. Harold Moukoudi of Saint Etienne.

1.) 26 Jan 2020 20:15:24
This window, George? That would be a bonus!

2.) 27 Jan 2020 07:31:25
Yeah another loan to buy if it comes off. Striker and central defender would turn this into a very positive window.

3.) 27 Jan 2020 08:11:18
You seen much if him George? What kind of midfielder is he?

4.) 27 Jan 2020 14:44:29
Cork None whatsoever. He's a central defender.

25 Jan 2020 01:54:42
Hearing loan of J-K A with purchase option all but done. Looks like he has skills with good radar.

1.) 25 Jan 2020 09:41:15
He would be an excellent addition George. His height tho? Not a Bamford back up. Maybe a Plan B on the horizon!?

2.) 25 Jan 2020 11:40:26
apparently leeds will try one more time for adams if that falls through then this jean kevin guy will be the one, he apparently turned down crystal palace for us, so let us hope that one way or the other its done and dusted by wednesday, we need someone in the team after tuesday game against milwall.

3.) 25 Jan 2020 11:54:35
He would seem to be 1.77m in height - only 1cm shorter than Roofe. So we'd be not much different to last year's set-up for strikers if he comes in. Incidentally Eddie was around the same height too - though of course J-KA has a much higher level of experience than either of the previous two.

4.) 25 Jan 2020 20:05:57
Defoe not big but prolific in front of goal.

21 Jan 2020 18:39:36
Caprile officially signed. That's a relief.

1.) 21 Jan 2020 19:51:32
Just what we needed, another young keeper. Can't have too many keeper's.

2.) 21 Jan 2020 20:17:28
Thank god. 6 keepers now. Maybe we should try for a couple more before the window shuts. Young keepers.

3.) 21 Jan 2020 20:29:12
Don’t forget that Kiko is going to get stuffed soon, so Meslier will be #1, previously putting Miazek on the bench. Now, I don’t know if you’ve seen much of Miazek, but if Meslier got injured, I wouldn’t want him between the sticks at Championship level! This new lad is supposed to be great, and has been brought in to cover the bench when Kiko is banned.

4.) 21 Jan 2020 20:53:40
Or maybe. One for the Future?

16 Jan 2020 17:36:22
Reports coming in that we've bid for Bowen. Offer of loan fee of £3m with an obligation to buy at an additional £12m. So for Aus and others that's £15m all in. Hull believed to want an extra £4m so parties not too far apart. Get er done Victoria. Would be a fantastic signing and my first choice.

1.) 16 Jan 2020 19:42:00
Graham Smyth has come out and said it ain't happening. Apparantly Hull want full payment up front and we just ain't in a position to do it. Pity because he would be class. Adams is a No from southampton, Gray is a NO from Watford and Sharp is staying at Sheffield Utd. I hate to say it but Vydra may be only realistic option available. Leeds might not want to deal with him after last summer though.

2.) 16 Jan 2020 20:22:42
Bowen would be one that has enough quality to stay if and when we go up.

3.) 16 Jan 2020 21:04:57
Resale value is there so not a financial risk.
Do we have FFP room to buy now?
If so give us the money QSI and let's just get this done.

4.) 16 Jan 2020 21:19:56
Not happening. Derby and Weds both in trouble with FFP and obviously EFL are starting to enforce the rules now with Derby being official declared to be in breach and facing sanctions. Angus and Radz have that now to back uo the lack of investment. They won't break the bank for a January signing.

5.) 16 Jan 2020 22:39:05
Isn’t his contract up in the summer? If so, (and I’ve been wrong before) , the £3mill, plus £12mill might be the best offer they get?

6.) 17 Jan 2020 01:37:35
Checked your addition sum out on the calculator George and you are right.

7.) 17 Jan 2020 08:37:56
I’m afraid I just can’t see it happening . Not structured like that .

8.) 17 Jan 2020 13:15:11
Hull have the option to exercise an additional 12 months contract at the end of this season.

So what will probably happen is Hull with exercise this and then sell him in the summer when he has 12 months left on contract and not 6.

07 Jan 2020 13:59:53
LUFC reportedly interested in signing Ivan Lepinijica, £4m rated Croatian defensive midfielder. Fat Frank also interested.

Who on here is called Roger? Isn't flying a plane defying the lockdown or is it still down to individual interpretation?

17 Mar 2020 22:12:54
All this self isolation malarkey but my daily routines haven't changed. Alf was right.

2.) 13 Mar 2020 23:27:42
Forgot also to mention:
Country containment

3.) 14 Mar 2020 00:15:10
Lol yeah definitely Corky he is in 3rd spot after China and Covid 19

I would also add the following to your C list 'Confused contagious panicy overreaction by football authorities '

4.) 14 Mar 2020 01:07:52
Fa chairman aus.

13 Mar 2020 22:56:10
Given Greg Clarke rhetoric, looks like another LUFC chant may be in the making. Not WACCOE but WACCOC. We are Champions, Champions of the Championship 💛💙.

1.) 14 Mar 2020 01:01:52
Meanwhile while football and other outdoor sporting events ( yet not the Cheltenham horse Gold Cup Festival or rugby league fixtures ) are postponed ; the hypocracy continues by the UK authorities on not banning far more likely contagious activities of travelling by tube, underground, crammed with thousands or plane travel in enclosed tiny spaces with hundreds of others. and of course all the pubs will be crammed now with footie fans on the weekends with nothing to do .

Compared to many other illnesses this Corona virus accounts for far less mortality that receive no attention or media hype / panic .

The whole Coruna virus matter is overhyped needless panicking bull

2.) 14 Mar 2020 09:24:04
Mainstream media reporting covid19 more contagious and higher mortality rate than those others but not as many people have it yet. I agree in principle with that vid but the knock on effect to the economy would be disastrous if everything just shuts down.

3.) 14 Mar 2020 10:01:26
Absolutely Alf, the economic toll could be huge. Jobs will be lost by the 1000s, businesses will fail on a daily basis, so aside from the worrying health elements, the economic fallout will take a long time to recover from. Why public transport is still in use is beyond me.

4.) 14 Mar 2020 11:45:16
Without transport people wouldn't be able to get to work though and that includes the supply chain to get food to the masses. Without PT some would not be able to earn money to feed their families. It's a huge mess. Better to keep it running, advise people to avoid it and work from home if we can and muddle through but our government haven't done that for some reason. Maybe they want us to all get it and get it over with?

5.) 14 Mar 2020 23:46:39
Alf - you may not be very far from the truth with your final comment, if as suggested the Govt's Chief Scientific Officer thinks it would be good for 60% of the population to get Covid-19 and recover, to establish 'herd immunity' within this country.

Hess Sadly, a very good and accurate post by you. Our senior players need to step up, take responsibility and score goals. Thinking of Paddy, Jacky, Mateuszy and Pabloy.

Whitey Had the Gooners been doing a little better in the league and not had to terminate Dick we probably would have nevertheless retained Eddie despite his substitute role. Radz should not be blamed for what's going on at the Emirates. He is trying to get a striker in.
