Looks like Cibicki and Lasogga last acquisitions before the deadline. I'm happy with that. It basically means the majority of the £15m intact whereas all of it would've disappeared with say Jota and Gestede. Well played Radz.

1.) 28 Aug 2017 14:45:36
So you don't expect anyone else coming in at the back then?

2.) 28 Aug 2017 15:13:32
I do not Starky and feel it would be a mistake. I really like the look of Shauny. Penny and Knife Man should be back early October and we have been keeping clean sheets. Bringing in another defender could upset the tight group we have.

3.) 28 Aug 2017 15:19:16
Don't think we need anymore with Pennington back soon and shaughessy on the bench with cooper and Pontus playing. Think TC will have everything covered as is astute with his awareness off what's needed and what isn't. Beradi still too come back too. Going to be a hard team to break into if they keep playing like we are. Imo I would start Dallas instead off pablo. ⚽️👍😃

4.) 28 Aug 2017 16:21:03
Agree George don't think we really need anyone at this moment in time but if we get Lasogga for a good deal I would be happy to sit on the cash and wait for good deals .

21 Aug 2017 13:40:49
It's official. Wood passes medical and is now a Burnley player.

1.) 21 Aug 2017 13:57:45
all the best to him, as long as he never scores against us.

2.) 21 Aug 2017 13:58:06
Wonder who has a nicer bench Leicester or Burnley? Hmmm

3.) 21 Aug 2017 14:09:40
Alot of them are those comfy looking car seat things in the prem but as Leicester have a more modern stadium i would say them at a guess. send Woody a tweet in a few weeks time to confirm.

4.) 21 Aug 2017 17:31:50
Who was he again?

20 Aug 2017 18:44:35
We are linked with Oliver McBurnie at Swansea. He was born in Leeds.

1.) 21 Aug 2017 10:09:06
Good move as long as it's not a loan.

19 Aug 2017 00:10:34
Hearing reports Burnley third and final bid around 15.5m plus add-ons accepted by LUFC. Wood to miss Sunderland fixture and go for medical.

10 Aug 2017 14:22:47
Liam Cooper signs new 4 year deal with LUFC.

Please will a fellow poster advise when did strangulation of an opponent become lawful play? I must've missed that new rule.

1.) 19 Nov 2017 19:30:17
It's in the "We hate Leeds" appendix. All Championship Refs must abide by it

2.) 19 Nov 2017 21:00:13
George. You need to read Shauns latest memo " Feel free to ignore the bleedin obvious if it helps towards keeping LUFC away from where they rightly belong"

3.) 19 Nov 2017 23:30:06
Thanks gentlemen. I neither like the appendix nor Shaun.

4.) 20 Nov 2017 08:09:32
Interesting that Ayling was penalised for grabbing the player's foot when he was on the ground but little thought was given as to how he came to be on the ground in the first place.

10 Nov 2017 17:15:11
AR should be trying to lure Evra to ER. We need a LB among many other positions.

1.) 10 Nov 2017 18:37:35
George, I'd even let him kick me if he comes! 😁

2.) 10 Nov 2017 19:31:59
Thought the same, then saw his ban was until the middle of 2018!

3.) 10 Nov 2017 20:24:45
Bright, only 7 months. We will still need a LB in 2018.

4.) 11 Nov 2017 00:15:38
Not in the bracket of " young with potential to yield a profit" Won't happen

06 Nov 2017 20:22:38
Interesting tweet from Alioski. Cringeworthy.

1.) 07 Nov 2017 08:33:05
Bad publicity team George and a bot nieve.

2.) 07 Nov 2017 12:56:25
Very crass from Alioski. Also interesting is Klich liking comment about TC picking certain players who make mistakes game after game whilst jettison those who fail in one game. He is bound to feel this way and perhaps show a rift in the camp ?

3.) 07 Nov 2017 14:25:10
Notts I believe all of this is an indicator that TC has lost the dressing room. Hope AR is reading. He should have sacked TC by now.

Taxi for Top Cat

1.) 04 Nov 2017 19:52:43
Georgie. Never far wring mate. I'm not usually a person too call for our managers head. But I have too agree. He's looks lost at minute in the sidelines and lost off ideas.

2.) 04 Nov 2017 20:08:42
No No No. You guys are premature in everything

3.) 04 Nov 2017 20:31:59
He must be the only person that sees lassoga is a starter and grot is in the squad. 2 big numptys. 😂😂⚽️

4.) 04 Nov 2017 22:14:16
Wex Mrs Integrity might agree with you but we've gone from title winning form to relegation form in a blink of an eye. That's actually hard to do but we've managed it. What concerns me is we are not playing particularly badly but we lack steel, spine and a robust style of play for the Championship. By calling for TC to go, I'm not saying he's a bad coach just not for us and not for the English championship. Our attractive play did well at the beginning but now the league is settled down we can't match what's happening. TC must go because he is incapable of salvaging the situation. Big Sam looks fairly appealing at this point.

5.) 04 Nov 2017 23:40:22
Big Sam makes me want to vomit

6.) 05 Nov 2017 01:49:11
I don't like him either Wex. However, at this rate we're going back to League One.

27 Oct 2017 22:29:50
We may have just played the 2018 Championship champions. That Duffy can play. He's their man from atlantis.

{Ed003's Note - :-) }

1.) 27 Oct 2017 23:05:05
That particular Duffy was good at diving I remember

2.) 28 Oct 2017 01:02:54
He certainly left us all at sea

3.) 28 Oct 2017 07:16:55
Then a big money move to Dallas and like he said Some Ewing some you lose

4.) 28 Oct 2017 12:22:07
Very funny BW

5.) 28 Oct 2017 13:17:35
We're supposed to be the one with Dallas. With last night's loss, we're heading down the table South and we're forked!

6.) 28 Oct 2017 14:08:51
Being I'm a man of principals another Dallas joke are we going to call Jay Roy JR that's me done my brains starting to hurt

The issue isn't the lower leagues but the quality of service against quality of opposition defense. Lassoga would probably do very well in league one but in the PL I doubt he'd score much at all. Lassoga is a good finisher but not much else. I still maintain Wilks could benefit us if used correctly.

Corky for following reasons. 1. We could do with another forward and goals. 2. We can't get anyone in to do that for another 8 weeks more or less. 3. Yes he's young, inexperienced and not doing great lower league but only in my opinion striker is a position where you can do better with better players around you unlike other positions. There's more to it than sticking ball in onion bag but he is meant to be highly rated. 4. I've seen him play and he has something about him which I like. 5. For position and predicament we are in I would enjoy see him get half hour when opposition tiring and he might just make a difference.

Look at the table and form guide big fella. I agree we still need young talent but first team repairs urgently needed.

How is it deja? If players aren't good or tough enough, you buy new ones funding and availability permitting. Deja would be an inability to get new blood in. Not all problems can be solved on the training pitch. Tiredness, overall skill and combativeness spring to my mind. That said I do admire the Blades and their manager but the transfer market is generally how you solve such problems.

Hard to walk away Kett when a 6 foot 4 person has both hands around neck and squeezing. Personally, I think Ayling showed restraint. Some fouls are so bad they warrant a reaction like that. Cost us a pen but I wouldn't blame Ayling for that. Point the blame at linesman and ref.

Disagree Kettering. That's massive provocation. Completely understandable reaction from LA.

Whitesee Strangulation of opponent's full back has always been permitted. Fancy not knowing that.
