So it seems the deal for ekstrand is looking like it's off! New cb target required. The club have apparently been advised not to take the risk due to concerns over previous injuries!

I read the deal has just been delayed as he looks at offers from different clubs. But knowing Leeds he will sign for another team and play really well and not have any injuries.

Simple fact like it or not we are in the championship and when the prem clubs call because of the cash involved and agent pressure to keep a player is all but impossible.
So what are the options let them go for free or get the best price, as transfers are still on-going think it would be only fair to see who we sign and how that person performs for the club before criticising.
I had not heard of most of are singing but will give them a chance, I had not heard of Gradel or Snodgrass either b 4 Leeds.

Jesus Christ, so much negativity on here tonight, yes we would all want this player and that player but come on ALL LEEDS aren't WE! team needs a little time to gel judge the season at the end of the season not after a few games. We can't compete with the premierships relegated clubs look at villa n Newcastle spending in my opinion stupid money, we and most clubs in this division simply can't compete. Money is totally ruining the game and it's us the fans that are suffering, put the players on minimum wage and incentivised on performance make th perform for their cash we a work out Dickens off to pay them by paying over the odds to watch them because we love our club at all costs but there's got to be a line or tipping point somewhere.

Weird post dude. Money runs the game top to bottom. Just ask UEFA and the American Justice Department. Fans are entitled to their opinion and to voice them. Besides, I don't see anyone really complaining about Cellino. We've had a good window so far and I have a feeling the next 25 hours are going to be positive for us.

Jonny, we all know that football clubs haven't been 'clubs' for years in this country. They are businesses and the players are employees who, like us will go and work for whoever pays the most money.
Gone are the days of a one club player. I mean look at us, if Murphy goes in this window Alex Mowatt at 22 becomes our longest serving first team player!
Professional footballers are mercenaries and badge kissing fakers who every so often visit sick kids in hospital to salve their consciences.
We, the fans are the 'club' because unlike the players, managers, and owners that come and go we will be LUFC until we die. They should be paying us!

So I read yesterday that mario ballatelli was being linked with Wolves on loan!
Clearly Liverpool still to pay a mass percentage of his wages but let's face it we have a nutty Italian in charge, why not try take another crazy italian on loan if Ya could get him in the mood he would tear this division to bits!

Going back to the piece about the officials, I honestly can't remember seeing a genuinely good performance by them involved in a leeds game for ages. Let's face facts we lost to the better side on Sunday but QPR should have been down to 10 men at 1-0 then who knows what happens I sure don't see them winning 3-0 if the ref had sent left his testicles in a jar at home, poor decision and I doubt he would of got it wrong if it was a leeds player!

No excuses we have been terrible, probably the worst I've seen us play in ages. As awful as we have been the officials have been equally as bad, they should have been down to 10 men early in 2nd half, and linesman made a few questionable decisions!

Is it just me or is David prutton a bit of a well shall we say tool! As a pundit all I ever hear from him is negative toward our beautiful club . No ex player loyalty from him that's for sure or does he think always sounding off will get him noticed!

Seems that someone is very well informed! Not sure what I think of this one though, it could be a master stroke he has genuine quality but can he hack the championships more rough n ready style. Fingers crossed as he could be immense for us over the next few years and a real signal of intent.
