With so many exciting young'uns he could have blooded and with nothing to lose - why didn't he. PH complains about the team's attitude but then notably leaves out the very players he can be sure to be excited and committed. There can only be one reason for this. Despite PH's comments to the contrary, he must be in fear for hisjob so resorted to fielding what he considers to be his best team in the hope that picking up a win or two will save him. Short term, self interested thinking adds nothing to the development of the team, the players or the team culture.

Hoping the acquisition of a few key players in the summer will turn the tide displays the same short term, wishful thinking exhibited by PH this weekend and will bring about the same results. Give a champion team over a team of champions every time. Sorry PH, but it is time to go. We need someone with more vision and self belief to move us forward.

Would you come to this shambles if you was a player kiwi?

2.) 30 Apr 2018 14:51:07
Agreed Martyn, just look at the mess we are in, Leeds on the fall again just goes to show what a shambles this lot are and we still got 4 season to go before he will sale, radz please get out and take the 🤡 with you.

Where is Saiz today?

1.) 17 Mar 2018 17:00:46
Part of his contract; doesn't play in the snow.

21 Feb 2018 23:36:33
I know many on here are criticising RV but, to be fair, when was the last time he kicked a ball in anger. The intensity of the training paddock is a long way from that of match day. Give him some time and he will regain form and confidence.

1.) 22 Feb 2018 05:50:33
Totally agree Kiwi. Boy has class. He's probably carrying a niggle.

2.) 22 Feb 2018 06:48:30
He was scared of putting a foot in after he was booked.

3.) 22 Feb 2018 08:15:35
He was also up against the best central midfielder in the league, in Tom Huddlestone tbf.

4.) 22 Feb 2018 10:28:21
you kidding, best central midfielder. wow that's some statement have you not seen that neves bloke at wolves he's sheer class. howson, pearson, grujic, woods, brownhill, cairney are all better central midfielders than tom huddlestoen all he can do is ping a passand throw his weight about

5.) 22 Feb 2018 12:19:18
And none of Them play for us

6.) 22 Feb 2018 16:22:51
Samo. The guy at Wolves, yes, but Howson? and the others? Nah!

21 Feb 2018 23:32:58
At the start of the season Felix was pants. They dropped him, did some work with and he came back with a different outlook. He attacked the ball, was positive and began to show some promise. Now he's lost it again.

He flaps at the ball if it is anywhere near him but in reality plays with the first option being to stay on his line away from any danger and leave the heavy lifting for the defence. In my opinion, from here he will continue to draw back into his shell and will only get worse. Best to drop him now and replace with whoever we have. We have nothing to lose.

1.) 22 Feb 2018 08:16:51
But we simply have no one else? Lonners, BPF? No better I'm afraid.

2.) 22 Feb 2018 18:03:38
The problem is though even when he doesn't make errors you can see it in the defensive players now - they expect those errors. Both goals yesterday came because of uncertainty. The equaliser definitely in the last minute most of all. The corner could have been avoided if there was a shout and confidence in the keeper. It happened two or three other times for the first goal too and another needless corner because Forshaw wasn't sure.

Guarantee every opposition scout is saying put the ball down Wiedwald's throat. He'll flap and give at least one goal every time. Brightwhite, is it fair to say that BPF is better or worse? He's played only one senior game so far 1-1 vs QPR and he played fine on the day if i recall (beaten by a penalty) i'd like to see him given a chance as I believe we can't make the play-offs.

Would at least let us know where we stand with all three senior keepers going into summer window. Lonergan despite his mistakes can at least command his box. Also has history of being a good goalkeeper. A poor spell of form can be temporary for Lonners but in Wiedwald's case i think his class is league 1.

3.) 24 Feb 2018 15:11:10
Why not give BPF a chance: what have we/he got to loose?

04 Oct 2017 04:01:16
Does anyone know how Pontus is doing and what the injury he sustained is?

1.) 04 Oct 2017 08:45:42
Arm injury. Must be bad he's missing the international games.

2.) 06 Oct 2017 08:32:47
Thumbs down? Really? Only saying what I read plank

3.) 06 Oct 2017 16:44:25
Don't forget our unwanted invaders Martyn!

4.) 07 Oct 2017 04:24:13

There should be an enquiry at the World Cup. Sweden had an unfair advantage. They had a Leeds man in their squad.

1.) 28 Jun 2018 08:37:06
We will probably get a 10 points deduction for allowing him to go!

24 Jun 2018 18:42:01
OK fellow banterers, what is the most exciting aspect of having Bielsa on board? 1) The intent it shows from AR to do whatever is necessary to gain promotion 2) The way he appears to have restructured the power dynamic within the club structure 3) His fast paced attacking style of game 4) The opportunity for our young 'uns and under developed players to receive some quality coaching or 5) His ability to attrect a higher quality of transfer to the party.

1.) 24 Jun 2018 18:58:47
I can't select only one Kiwi! I think it's a combination of all of the above! He is just an entirely different entity to anyone we have had in the last 15 years!

2.) 24 Jun 2018 19:01:01
or, all of the above.

3.) 24 Jun 2018 21:55:40
First C then B then F

4.) 24 Jun 2018 23:12:50
Anything if it stops Orta signing any more players.

23 Jun 2018 03:47:09
What are the chances that Leeds are delaying progress on transfers until Bielsa is on deck. AR is deep into PR and coinciding key deals with Bub's arrival would be a great PR coup.

1.) 23 Jun 2018 08:05:07
100 % that's what's happening. Expect a week of announcements

2.) 23 Jun 2018 08:08:40
Well that's what everything is saying, they say as soon as Bielsa arrives, he will start making signings.

3.) 23 Jun 2018 08:34:44
Let's hope so guys, seems to be taking longer than the Brexit negotiations to get some of the transfers over the line. Just hope we don't end up with Jerry from Capri.

19 Jun 2018 03:23:27
OK. Time for a spot poll. If you had a choice who would it be. Vydra or Hernandez. Thumbs up for Vydra, down for Hernandez

1.) 19 Jun 2018 19:15:29
That was decisive!

2.) 20 Jun 2018 04:06:29
Perhaps I should have added a thumbs sideways for both

11 Jun 2018 21:21:19
I'm a tragic. I can't help but go to bed at night wishing I could wake up in the morning to find Bielsa, Bartley, Hernandez and Vydra all wrapped up together with a big white ribbon at the foot of Leeds'bed. I know, Ausman, Darryl Kerrigan would say "Tell him he's dreaming" (Inside joke for those not living down under) . But still.

1.) 11 Jun 2018 23:58:32
Ha ha. Kiwi. I think middle two are possible. Not sure about other two. Not keen on non English speaking coach much tbh. Looks like magwa and hern May be our strike force next year. Don’t think we needed to buy magwa if we can get hern.

Derby just looking for a replacement to cover themselves first. I truly hope they can get their act together. Tying this one down sooner rather than later will provide a better framework for working out the rest of this window's transfers.

Would rather have Stockake than Gunn on a loan. If we loan Gunn the expectation wil be that he plays which leaves BPF on the bench. Much better long term plan to have BPF experience the first team game time.

Like one of Pavlov's dogs I am salivating at the thought of Bielsa coming to Leeds. A mischievous part of me can't help wondering how marvellous the circus would have been if we had witnessed both Bielsa and Cellino performing under the same tent

Don't know Orta personally. He may be a great guy for all I know. He may even be competent in what he does (I know- debatable) . The key point is that it's his role that presents the problem. A manager is needed, not a head coach and as such he needs to have the final say on player recruitment. For this reason alone, I am hoping it becomes a win/win and Orta moves on.

Blackman will start as No. 1. Chelsea would not have loaned him out to sit on the bench.

I want him. BPF needs to be no. 1 with a sound backup for safety. Stockdale fits that bill.
