What would be a show of good intent this transfer window? In my opinion it would be getting the business done, whatever it may be, early. This would indicate that they (Leeds management team) are taking things serously; that they have been thinking hard about already it and are going to give Bub the time to graft the newcomers successfully into the existing squad.

Pope keeper from Burnley
Gary Cahill on loan not getting games at Chelsea
Jarrod Bowen
Bradley Dack
Moise keen

That would represent a good transfer window.

That's 2 refs that will be in trouble witH the EFL now. One for giving a penalty last week and one for not awarding one today. They will run out of officials elligible for taking the field in the Championship soon if these men in black don't learn what their rules are in relation to Leeds. Long may it continue. MOT.

I don’t think it was a penalty.
I thought he stubbed his foot on turf.

2.) 16 Dec 2018 11:38:15
I agree Saiz!

3.) 16 Dec 2018 17:51:12
That’s spooky I meant to say Auz, autocorrect!

4.) 16 Dec 2018 21:05:30
On no! Aus is really Saiz.

5.) 16 Dec 2018 22:55:24
I’ve never seen them together!

6.) 18 Dec 2018 14:23:40
Ha ha. Saiz wishes.

I know we are all getting frustrated because our hope of landing the big one have all been frustrated - so far, Let's take stock against lats year:

1) Goalkeeper - Last year we had 2 clowns. This year 2 good ones.

2) Defense - Ayling is back. We missed him big time when he was injured and we have Pearce full time in the squad. Maybe Pearce won't pleay as a true defender but otherwise we are none the worse and better with Ayling on the Pitch.

3) Midfield - Baker in and Okane nowhere near the grass. Massive improvement. Klich looks like he might come right as well.

4) Attack - Maybe no additions - yet. BUT Lasogga - gone. Grot - gone. Ekuban - gone. An improvement already.

5) Coach - Big improvement. With imptovements still possible I am more hopeful than despondent.

Liking the positivity Kiwi, and like you say, not many additions "yet"! There's still time.

2.) 20 Jul 2018 09:06:06
I like this post Kiwi. We have a starting XI stronger than last year and so far, as you say, we have got rid of some players not up to the grade. Now with the addition of a couple (or 3) purchases and a similar number of loans we will be in good shape (well on paper) . I am not one of those who is in despair as I still think there are many players out there who are/ will be available and we do not need to panic and be held to ransom. If they WANT to come to Leeds then great, if not then why overpay them. MOT.

3.) 20 Jul 2018 20:03:23
Careful boys, the doom and gloomers will be chasing you out of town ;)

With so many exciting young'uns he could have blooded and with nothing to lose - why didn't he. PH complains about the team's attitude but then notably leaves out the very players he can be sure to be excited and committed. There can only be one reason for this. Despite PH's comments to the contrary, he must be in fear for hisjob so resorted to fielding what he considers to be his best team in the hope that picking up a win or two will save him. Short term, self interested thinking adds nothing to the development of the team, the players or the team culture.

Hoping the acquisition of a few key players in the summer will turn the tide displays the same short term, wishful thinking exhibited by PH this weekend and will bring about the same results. Give a champion team over a team of champions every time. Sorry PH, but it is time to go. We need someone with more vision and self belief to move us forward.

1.) 29 Apr 2018 02:58:43
Would you come to this shambles if you was a player kiwi?

2.) 30 Apr 2018 14:51:07
Agreed Martyn, just look at the mess we are in, Leeds on the fall again just goes to show what a shambles this lot are and we still got 4 season to go before he will sale, radz please get out and take the 🤡 with you.

All we needed was a decent team to play against. It brought out the best in us and our best is THE best. Now I am looking forward to the next two games. Hoping for some memorable vintage Leeds performances.

KiwiLeeds

1.) 02 Mar 2019 10:28:04
Kiwi that’s not a very good statement, we should always be playing our best no matter who we play, let’s hope the rest of our games are played like this, great result just what the Doctor ordered in our case the Fans. We All Love Leeds,

13 Feb 2019 23:32:36
Wouldn't be Leeds if there wasn't some squeaky bum time. Can someone who saw the game tell me what the penalty call was like. Was it a fair one? Not that I'm paranoid or anything.

KiwiLeeds

1.) 14 Feb 2019 02:19:10
Ayling trip, looked like Ayling accepted it though I think the attacker saw it coming and made the most of it.

2.) 14 Feb 2019 08:17:10
Nailed on penalty Kiwi. No doubts.

3.) 14 Feb 2019 08:25:47
Don't think we could argue with the decision, I thought the Ref was ok last night.

4.) 14 Feb 2019 08:36:05
The attacker played Ayling, he was going no where with the ball, Ayling stuck a leg out and he fell over it. You would be very disappointed if you did not get it, But he played for it.

5.) 14 Feb 2019 08:44:30
Agreed the attacker made the most but a seasoned professional should have the nous to say - He's going away from goal. I have him covered. Why give him the chance, Especially inside the box. Two more steps and it would have been a free kick, at worse.

6.) 14 Feb 2019 09:00:19
It was a pen but a needless challenge.

7.) 14 Feb 2019 16:43:04
Thanks all. I can put away my tin foil hat then.

30 Jan 2019 19:55:39
Will James come or won't he? Well, if Swansea didn't want this to happen then they could easily have kicked this to touch by now. James himself says he's keen to make the move (and why wouldn't he be) .
So. Swansea want to see the deal done, James sanctions the move and Bub wants him (the only outfield player he is after) . So, yeah, in the end I think that they will get it over the wire.

KiwiLeeds

1.) 30 Jan 2019 22:22:35
Little bit surprised that we haven’t heard other rumours for similar players such as Jared Bowen slightly older but proven goal scoring record. Also surprised that our normal transfer linked oppos of Forest, Villa and D%#y haven’t been linked with James, it’s good and puzzling in equal measures?

2.) 30 Jan 2019 23:10:23
Class Bowen will go for a higher fee in the £15m to £20m bracket. We won't have that kinda wonga until next season.

3.) 31 Jan 2019 08:21:53
Be surprised if we don't sign James today. Think he is realistically our only target. Doubt it we have a back up target of even time to get them in if the James transfer falls through.

4.) 31 Jan 2019 09:15:33
Think your spot on George just thought as in any game of poker you don’t want to show your hand too early, and tentative (publicised equiries to Hull May have helped focus Swansea’s mind) And given we are reported as the only suitors after James (why is that? ) it makes us come across as having every egg in a very small basket.

That being said, I think Mateusz 2 arriving has slipped under the radar, did you boys watch his YouTube clips? Yeah I get it’s YouTube and opposition may not have been much but he was playing in the 10 role and technically looks very good, has something of a Kevin De Bruyne look about him. seriously!

5.) 31 Jan 2019 12:02:25
He’s highly rated Class but it remains to be seen if he can step up and how quickly. Probably won’t see owt of him this season apart from in the 23s.

27 Jan 2019 00:58:53
Who'd a thunk it. Leeds leaving January with more points in the bank than are left to play for. Food times.

KiwiLeeds

1.) 27 Jan 2019 03:36:30
Kiwi Are you hungry for more? 😆.

2.) 27 Jan 2019 03:51:51
Typo George. Should have been GOOD times. But, yes, definitely hungry for more.

25 Jan 2019 18:12:42
So 11 clubs have signed a letter to try and get the EFL to do what they can't achieve on the paddock. By my math, that means that there are 12 with sufficient integrity that didn't. I am sure that the 11 that joined in the spineless pact to shaft us didn't spontaneously find themselves sitting around the same table at a cafe one morning. Someone has been working the phones (probably that clown from Bristol who has his knickers well and truly in a twist) . That being the case, it is highly unlikely they would have left any stone unturned. All clubs would have been contacted and vigorously encouraged to join the cabal. More declined than took up the offer. Given the vested self interest of the minority who proceeded to squeal like stuck pigs, how can the EFL take them seriously.

KiwiLeeds

1.) 25 Jan 2019 18:30:06
Nice to see the Sheffield clubs and all the Midlands clubs, including baggies, villa and even brum not involved in the little clubs bitter shenanigans.

2.) 25 Jan 2019 18:33:29
Good posting Kiwi. I work with a guy who is a Derby fan of the connected variety. Lampard has stopped speaking to him since he mimicked wearing binoculars and told him to get a grip. Now blanks him. Infantile.

3.) 25 Jan 2019 18:36:24
Kiwi the LAW states we are all protected by our constitutional rights and states nobody or thing can be punished for something outside of the law. Now Harvey said no LAW has been broken so what can they do? They know pursuing this could cost them their backhanders er I mean bonuses in legal fee, s if we contested them in court so I say to Mr Harvey and his other fu@#witts down at the EFL get back to your offices and look at doing the right thing like punishing diving and substandard officiating and ordering KFC and other crap that you do with alm your corrupt money. I bid you good night Mr Harvey. End of.

4.) 25 Jan 2019 19:12:35
Spot on Martyn just posted something similar, that poisoned tool Harvey and his minions, they’ve got nothing!

5.) 25 Jan 2019 19:40:45
Correct Class, They have nothing, but, Harvey is working his socks off to invent something. F em all to start with F him. MOT.

They have the upper hand at the moment with points in the bank. But 8 games provides a lot of wriggle room for us to leap frog them at some point. Just wish we could at least once this season put our best team on the park with no injuries, no suspensions and everybody raring to go.

Methinks Swansea were playing games. I don't believe they were negotiating in good faith. They may have mucked us about but their reputation in the transfer market has taken a beating. This will come back to bite them in the bum. Goodness knows what this mess will have done to James' head.

Agree with you Leodis. We seem to have a more robust structure with KP in the defensive midfield, both going forward and in defense. However, as always, I am content to defer to Bub.

If we go up he stays. If we don't he goes. Fair enough to him if that is the case. He has a bright future. I only hope we place ourselves in such a position so that it is with us.

If it's a knock I wouldn't be too concerned, He'll have a little pain, perhaps some short term swelling. Even if he stays off it his fitness should see him through ready to take the field again against Reading. Certainly against the Blades if they wanted to be cautious, .

Past history suggests that it would be prudent for some of the keener fans to sacrifice their tickets and forgo seeing the match in order to form an armed guard to prevent Berm from entering the stadium. I recommend setting up several hours beforehand to circumvent any foxingein his part that may be in play here.

Berm, we live ya, but under no circumstances can you attend a Leeds fixture. I'm not sure you should even watch it in TV, listen to the radio or follow it online. Take one for the team and look up the result the next day - at least until you have had that exorcism.

Big fan of the Shack. He has performed every time he has taken the field.
