Well, after the other night's performance, the Man Utd fans want our manager and the Arsenal fans want our manager and goalie. Never thought I would read Man Utd fans saying that we play much better football than them.

1.) 09 Jan 2020 14:59:56
Teams will be after Corberan soon, too.

22 Nov 2019 12:18:23
Reports of us going after Vydra in January. Saying Bielsa wants him.

1.) 22 Nov 2019 13:20:13
Why would we sign a forward when we've got Bamford.

2.) 22 Nov 2019 23:03:43
Is that sarcasm.

3.) 23 Nov 2019 07:04:59
No just channelling my inner Bielsa.

4.) 23 Nov 2019 16:26:56
Just shows why we should never have left him walk, stats overload again today yet the most important one is all square . Just get the f-ing thing done pay the lad what he wants and let him do his thing.

5.) 23 Nov 2019 18:48:07
I want player who want to wear the shirt, not just take the cheque. I am OK if he does both.

6.) 24 Nov 2019 07:29:37
Why indeed, player just as bad as Bam Bam there must be a decent striker out there somewhere,

7.) 25 Nov 2019 01:52:30
I'd rather avoid after he turned us down in 2018 unless he makes very apologetic noises during interview and promises to bang them in.

8.) 25 Nov 2019 07:44:15
I rate Vydra but he turned us down so no time for him now. Seems to be a bit of a mercenary with no loyalties except to money. there's a young lad called Edmonson who is as good as him and a lot younger.

9.) 27 Nov 2019 20:13:31
Bielsa the lad has no loyalty to Leeds so I don’t get what you’re saying.
As for Edmonson you know your stuff so I hope you are right.

10.) 29 Nov 2019 17:50:10
Sign Vydra on a goal bonus AND everytime he gets a duck he pays us. That should show how loyal he is?

11.) 04 Dec 2019 12:18:51
Vydra goes where he can get a payday Cork. Has no loyalty to any club he plays for, guess that's why they are happy to get rid of him.

09 Oct 2019 13:31:38
Phil Hay has said that Bielsa is not sure about Nketia and that Bamford's recent form has increased his grip on the starting place. Christ.

1.) 09 Oct 2019 18:56:08
Another 6 games without a goal should see Bamford secure his place for the rest of the season then. Can just see Eddie being recalled by Arsenal in January and loaned out to a team that can use him.

2.) 09 Oct 2019 20:42:50
Him and Clarke, then watch them rip the league up.

3.) 10 Oct 2019 15:02:39
Is Bamford auditioning for the Mick Jones role then bring on Eddie for the Alan Clarke role.
Just a thought, if Bamford is doing so well holding the ball and bringing others into play how we are still not scoring goals? From anyone.

4.) 10 Oct 2019 18:18:29
Bambam is auditioning for the role of Donkey in Shrek.

5.) 11 Oct 2019 16:16:34
Bamford has played really well in all other areas, it's just not happening in front of goal, I do think if we put him with Eddie it could provide goals .
Not convinced about Costa and if the price tag is anything like I have seen quoted then I'm afraid we are overpaying .

24 Jul 2019 14:08:12
Seville in for Casilla?

1.) 24 Jul 2019 14:52:14
Please please be true he's absolute garbage, thought silvestri was rubbish but this guy makes him look half decent.

2.) 24 Jul 2019 17:22:53
Yes please let him go!

3.) 24 Jul 2019 21:30:05
Will drive him there myself.

4.) 24 Jul 2019 22:08:59
Hope not, think he will be better this season.

5.) 25 Jul 2019 10:22:23
Kiko is the best keeper we have had in years!

6.) 25 Jul 2019 13:53:58
As proved against Derby eh Jay?

7.) 25 Jul 2019 13:56:09
Looks like it's bpf that's going. What's the betting that young lad who played the pre season game at tadcaster replaces him on a free. Max Johnson was it . Not done bad this transfer window has mr radrizanni . Hope he's ready for the backlash when we end up mid table come May.

8.) 25 Jul 2019 16:15:37
Kiko the best keeper we've had in years!, Shows how poor our keepers have been lately. Lonners, Silvestre, that German clown, not hard to be better to be honest.

9.) 25 Jul 2019 20:51:39
And green and bpf.

10.) 26 Jul 2019 12:08:20
I did rate Green

I reckon Casilla is better than the others mentioned, including BPF, but not as good as Green. However I do concede that Green had an advantage in that he could easily communicate with the outfield players as English is his first language. I am hopeful that Casilla errors last year were down to not knowing the guys he is playing behind and his English communication when under pressure. An example of this, later in the season, was he has eventually realised that Cooper is not at his best when chasing back a through ball. So decides to go forward and clear the ball. However because of his rudimentary communication skills he gets in a tangle with his defender. Hopefully this season he opts to kick the ball come what may, and Cooper realises he has a sweeper/ keeper who is in a better position than him.

11.) 31 Jul 2019 14:50:29
What happened to us taking Karl Darlow?

12 Jul 2019 14:23:06
One for Berms. Philips now heavily linked with a Spurs move.

1.) 12 Jul 2019 14:50:19

15 May 2020 14:59:58
Remainder of League two cancelled.

1.) 15 May 2020 17:19:14
This could be very good news, increases our chances of automatic promotion via PPG if the season cannot be completed as normal!
Get up, get QSI in control with their wallet and MOT.

2.) 15 May 2020 20:27:28
Seems like EFL are 100% behind promotion, good, relegation will be the issue as no one will vote for it, (look at league 2) (macclesfield get away with another year of mismanagement)
If there's a god villa will come down

06 May 2020 15:36:05
Germans restarting football and opening bars. I knew there was a reason they get on my tits - envy.

1.) 06 May 2020 23:45:50
Watch their likely second wave figures. Slowly but surely is the way to go. I don’t understand why USA and Europe are relaxing restrictions without no cases. We had no cases reported at all for 7 days and still not opened bars. Over cautious maybe. We shall see.

2.) 07 May 2020 11:31:33
least it gives me another lot of teams watch and dislike. all of them (apart from lipzig Redbull as I really respect there ethos and think they are a great story)

{Ed001's Note - you respect the ethos of a corporate team with no real fanbase doing well due to the money injected into them by the company? Strange, I bet you don't have the same respect for Salford City who are a similar story and ethos?}

3.) 07 May 2020 16:45:00
Well seeing his well Germany handled the first wave I think they might do ok

Us, however.

Anyway, stay safe and be ready

We go again.

4.) 09 May 2020 23:02:35
actually ed I do have the same respect for salford. the fans of that club have stood by to see better times come and good luck to them. Although I am a proud londoner supporting a northern team i always have respect for fans who support the local small club and good luck whn they do well

aso for lepiz, what i respect is there commitment to youth and sticking to the ethos and doing well.

lets be honest money talks now days so all successful clubs need money so i think we have to put that to one side. bit like if newcastle start to do well. forget the money that is a given still good luck to the fans and the city. same with leeds.

{Ed001's Note - what fans? You are totally missing the point as usual. They have both been taken away from their fans and into corporate ownership. Like most fans of rich clubs you have no idea about supporting a lower league side and think it is just about hoping for glory.}

08 Mar 2020 19:44:39
Evening all. I suspect that one or two of you on here might have noticed that I am not top flight pundit material. I do try, but at the end of the day, I mostly talk a load of tripe when assessing things, but I am pretty bloody certain that we've been playing Ayling and Bamfs in each other's positions all season.

1.) 09 Mar 2020 07:02:46
Seems that way of late doesn't it?

2.) 09 Mar 2020 09:25:19
have to give the others a chance, that's why we have also been playing Kiko in goal when clearly he thinks he is a number 8.

04 Mar 2020 11:02:31
My youngest lad's best mate's father has invited the little lad's mates, including my boy, to his birthday party, which is going to ER to watch Leeds v Luton followed by a meal. Didn't get invited to parties like that when I was a lad.

1.) 04 Mar 2020 13:29:10
Pair school shorts tie and a cap you might just squeeze in Tory? Either that say you’re happy to ‘help out’ at the party and just turn up, worth a shot?

2.) 04 Mar 2020 19:38:15
Class, whilst I am grateful for your well meaning suggestion, I would struggle to "squeeze" through the Panama Canal whilst glazed in vegetable oil, let alone into a squirt's party. My mother, the cheeky old hag, actually told me a while ago, "you need to lose weight, you look like a Scotch Egg, with matchstick arms n legs, like one of them Mr Potato Heads when you were a child". I keep praying that I was or still maybe adopted, but I think I am stuck with her. On the positive side, she is a staunch Leeds fan.

3.) 04 Mar 2020 19:47:57
Tory You'd be a mad hatter to decline 😂.

4.) 04 Mar 2020 21:43:15
so lucky we use to do that all the time but it was charlton millwall and palace.

5.) 05 Mar 2020 06:05:03
How did they even get tickets?

18 Feb 2020 19:32:13
Bermo. It says on some sites that Spurs are circling over Philips. If this is right, you and I will never hear the end of it.

1.) 18 Feb 2020 20:05:02
Let's get prem then and the only way perlo Will go spurs on Leeds team couch.

2.) 19 Feb 2020 17:18:36
i spoke to the cheif spurs scout who told me they are scouting Clarke and when i mentioned phillps he laughed and said no we are defitnaty not interested in him. granted new manager and times change but i can't see that happening

i posted this november 2018 well before spurs signed clarke. so i doubt it

i hope phillips does go for a lot of money but i predict. no i know phillips will not cope with the prem. he is just too slow.

3.) 19 Feb 2020 17:47:14
Leeds player of the season so far for me! Think we missed Kalvin massively for those 3 games! Last two games he has been on a mission. to get Leeds up! Top bloke as well, just hope we can get him the promotion he deserves!

4.) 20 Feb 2020 08:41:33
Well said DSW. The community work he puts in, as do the rest of the squad, is amazing, and he is genuinely a true Leeds lad.

5.) 20 Feb 2020 12:56:31
Bermo, EVERY Premier League club was scouting Clarke last year but it sounds like you are now telling us you told us he was going to be a Spurs player in advance of it happening

And then the leap of faith to you saying that Phillips isn't good enough for the Premier League based on your previous post about Clarke being scouted and talking to a scout.

By data alone, Phillips IS a BETTER player than Clarke. Not my opinion, not your opinion, just data.

And from freely available data Phillips doesn't come across as being slow. In full games, on average, he covers more ground than most of the midfielders in the Championship top 10 teams (couldn't be bothered to look at those teams lower) .

So is you version of 'slow' just his data over a 100m sprints, or is it an IQ thing? Really not understanding what your specifically discusding

Maybe you perceive Jordan Henderson (captain of the liverpool team that is on course for a record breaking season) of being slow too. If so, I am bl00dy glad that Kalvin is slow. Slow and steady wins the race.

6.) 20 Feb 2020 18:15:39
Phillips picked for almost every game for 2 years by Bielsa (who also said we would only get promotion with the future England player)

Clarke - not selected by Bielsa since his illness.

Now at QPR

Hope the lad is in line for a good career but we got good money for someone that’s done nowt yet. Got Poveda and hopefully Harrison for the same price

Decent business.

Chris Chris and whoever gave you a thumbs up, I am a Civil Servant and I do actually do more than a day's work on average. Thou presume too much on the basis of little info re how it actually works, rather than fact. don't beleive all of the myths blossom. I suspect that Radz, Orta and Bielsa know far more than you or I when taking their decisions. ps I would also suggest not getting a government job. Might be a shock to your system cherub.

This lock down is a disaster. Being locked in is not ideal, but being locked in when there is no football on tv, is really annoying. Like many of my friends I am grazing wine throughout the afternoons and evenings and we are all mindful that we are consuming more than ideal, which is a worry for when we eventually get back to work. On a lighter note, due to consuming too much vino, I tripped on the steps yesterday and twisted my foot 90° so I now have a right ankle. Boom boom. I'll get me coat.
